Act 1: The Challenge has been Answered
The scene opens on a long stretch of road somewhere between Iowa and New York. The moon was high in the sky, and the stars sparkled against the deep midnight blue sky. The road was quiet except for a few truckers trying to meet a deadline of some sort. A black limo is soon spotted heading down the long stretch of road. The camera soon moves inside where we see Cleo and Sothren sitting across from one another, with Malice sound asleep lying on Cleo's lap. Cleo looks down at her and smiles softly pushing her long black locks back from her face.
Sothren: Cleo? Cleo are you in there?
Cleo looks up from the sleeping girl in her lap, and smiles softly.
Cleo: What?
Sothren: You've been awfully quiet since we left the airport.
Cleo: I've been thinking that's all. Ayla has never justified the attack that she made on us last week, and now she challenges me to a sick pit match at the Pay Per View this week. But why did it have to be snakes?
Sothren: She knew that you have a fear of snakes that's why. You have to focus on the match and not the snakes that are in that pit. She'll be expecting that, and you can't let Ayla get the upper hand.
Cleo: I'm not going to let her win this match. But there is no way I'm going near that snake pit.
Sothren: You'll have to go around it; I mean that's why it's called a Snake Pit Match. Just focus on getting Ayla into that pit of snakes, and keep yourself from it.
Cleo sighs, and looks out the window, watching the country side go by.
Cleo: *Voice Over* Ayla this match is going to be one of the biggest that either one of us has been in. I know that you made this match knowing that I have a fear of snakes, and that you will have the upper hand. But you're wrong. I'm not going to let the snakes within that pit distract me, no matter what it takes. I've helped you to become better than what you are, and now you're starting to fall once again. Sunday night you will fall at my feet, and then into the pit below into the twisted pile of the slithering creatures within.
Sothren: Cleo?
Cleo: Hmmm?
Sothren: We're stopping for a minute, do you want anything?
Cleo: No, I'm alright. Go ahead.
Sothren opens the door, and steps out, at what looks like a little rest area. The night air felt good as the door opened and closed. She leans back in the seat and looks down at Malice with a soft smile.
Cleo: Ayla do you think that you stand a chance against me? I mean right now you're not even in your right mind, and made this match out of spite more than anything because of what happened between us. After the attack two weeks ago, I'm surprised that you would even show your face around me again. I'm going to be so kind this time as I was the last time we faced each other. I will destroy you no matter what it takes, and send you into the pit of snakes. When I win I will laugh as your screams fill the air, until you are smothered by the creatures that fill the pit.
Cleo just smiles to herself as she looks down at Malice once again, feeling her stir in her sleep. She puts a hand to her black locks once more, soothing her back into a peaceful slumber. The door soon opens once again, and Sothren steps back into the limo with a few small items in hand. The limo soon drives off once again down the long stretch of road, as the scene fades to black.
Act 2: Home Sweet Home
The scene reopens a good few hours later on the massive Du Lac estate. The sun was starting to come up over the high towers of the house, casting it's beautiful golden rays, as the black limo pulled up in front of the house. It soon comes to a full stop and Sothren steps out of the back, as Abel walked up to the car. Cleo steps out as she motions back inside where Malice still was sound asleep. Abel picks her up and carries her inside.
Cleo: Abel, be a dear and take Malice upstairs to her room please. Let her sleep as long as she needs.
Abel just nods, and heads up the stairs with Malice still asleep in his massive arms. Cleo sighs, and stretches slightly, and smiles at Sothren, as she starts up the stairs herself. Sothren puts a hand on hers and leans in to kiss her. She leans in and their lips met. The kiss soon ends, and she blushes, feeling the heat rising within her.
Cleo: Night...
Cleo walks up the stairs as Sothren just smiles and walks off toward the basement. Cleo reaches her room, and closes the heavy set golden doors, as she looks around. Stacy was sound asleep on the couch in the room. Cleo pulls up the blanket that was over her and sighs, heading for her bed. She tosses her sandals off to the side, and lies back on the soft mattress, and stares up at the canopy above her.
Cleo: Why do I feel the way I do about him? How many nights did I ask myself that about you Ayla? Do you still think about the nights that we shared together, the passion that you and I felt for one another? Is that what drives you now Ayla? The fact that we are no longer together, that I tossed you aside like yesterdays trash, and found comfort in the arms of another? I don't really care what drives you any more. All that I care about is winning this match, and watching you suffer like I did. I will take everything away from you, like they did with me, and let you see what it means to be despised, and loathed by all of those around you.
The sound of soft footfalls are soon heard, and two little black ears are soon seen over the edge of the bed. Cleo smiles as she sees the little black cat jump up onto the soft bed, and curls up at her mistress's side. Cleo pets the cat's head, listening to the soft purring, as the cat's golden eyes stare ahead.
Cleo: But now I am not alone. I have my family around me once again, and they are willing to stand by me through everything, and help me when I need it. But Sunday night, it'll be just you and me this time, I promise you... I want this match to be one of the greatest and most memorable for everyone around us. I want the world to see you disappear while I remain. Just remember that I will always be better than you, and nothing that you can do will stop me. I will always win, no matter what it takes, no matter who I have to hurt to get what I want. I will always remain! I am the Golden Queen, the Queen of Kings, the living Nile, the Golden Goddess... so what does that make you? See you soon Ayla.
Cleo smiles and looks down at the little cat lying beside her. The gentle purring starts to lull her into a deep sleep, only to be lost in dream, as the scene fades to black.
