Night begins to fall in Omaha. Nothing really to do at this time seeing as how the zoo is closed and it's not football season. Sitting in a hotel room on his laptop is Brad Kane. He looks to be alone for a little while, music playing from the tiny speakers. He sings along gentley, trying to keep the tune of whatever it he's listening to. Hard to tell because he's butchering it so badly. Brad seems to be typing, probably updating his blog or Twitter. We all know how people love those type of things these days. While he tilts his head back to think the hotel room door swings open. You're probably expecting Megan but it isn't. Instead in walks Chris who has a bag in his hand. Ahah, Megan's right behind him, looking as if the two went shopping. Megan waves at her husband before leaving the two along. Chris walks to where his dad is and takes a seat on the edge of the bed.
Chris: Hey dad, what's up?
With a grin on his face Brad lowers the volume of the music and puts his laptop on a nearby table before putting his attention towards his son.
Brad: Just doing a blog, listening to music and still laughing about last night.
Chris: Yeah, about Bron I imagine.
Brad: Yep. All the backlash is just hilarious. So what'd Megan get you?
The bag is lifted off of the carpet, Chris pulling out a brand new number six LeBron James jersey. Brad shakes his head.
Brad: You did what not?
Chris: Oh come on, it was historic and everything. You would've done the same thing.
Brad: Yeah, you know that I got into a shouting match with LeBron during the Eastern Conference Finals. Hell I'm taking the right measures to make people think I'm why he tanked.
Chris begins to laugh, putting the jersey on the bed before going into the bad again.
Brad: Wow, someone spoiled you today.
A wide grin is on the teenager's face as he pulls out another piece of clothing. He tosses it to Brad, making his dad look at it.
Chris: I picked it out for you so go ahead and look.
Both of them look a little nervous as Brad slowly unfolds the t-shirt. It reveals a newly designed Brad Kane t-shirt. Brad looks at the shirt a little surprised.
Chris: I asked Meg... I mean mom if she could design you a new shirt because you haven't had a new one in a long time. So that's what she came up with. I had the final say in what it looked like. I put her through hell to get it perfect for you dad. Hope you like it.
The design is a Brad kicking a silhouette in the face with his name under it. On the back of the black t-shirt reads "Head Kicker #1". Brad smiles looking at the new t-shirt.
Chris: Well should mom call in and have them mass produced for nCw?
Brad: I think so. Thanks. I'll wear it on Sunday night while I head down to the ring. I can't believe you and Megan conspired on something like this...
Chris nods his head before getting up and heading out of the room. Megan walks back in to see her husband thrilled with the new shirt.
Megan: So I take it you like it?
Brad: Very much so. Thanks. I think the people will enjoy it too when it gets made.
She smiles before sitting on the very bed that Chris was on a few moments ago.
Megan: I think so as well. So you want to get out tonight?
He shakes his head, not really feeling it. Plus it's friggin' Nebraska.
Brad: Nah, I'd rather just stay in the hotel tonight. Maybe go next door and see the kids before they go to bed.
Megan grins before heading back into the room that's joined with this one. Brad stands up himself, taking another look at that shirt before putting it neatly on the bed...

"First it was about me telling people I wasn't a fluke last month at Reborn. Second time was about finally defining my legacy here in New Championship Wrestling. This time I don't know what I'm about. It seems like I've nearly gotten everything off of my mind to this point and it's starting to bother me that I want it to be Sunday so I can go out and maim you, Phil. The longer I keep waiting for Sunday night to come around the more pissed off I get.
Why am I pissed off? You insulted me, you insulted my wife and you've insulted this company. The past few weeks have been replaying in my mind. Since the moment I won this title I've been beaten down and bruised. But I haven't stopped yet. I can't stop anymore. You see Burns while you think that you're gonna waltz into this match on Sunday night and take my title away from me I know it won't be that simple. Nothing is ever that simple against me.
I could be facing three other guys and I'd never back down. You hit me with a chair the night you declared to the world your intentions to come after this belt that resides around my waist. That one moment was enough to make me take notice about you. I had to go through the old shows to get a feel of how Philip Burns wrestles and how he acts while in a match. I could take this easy road, again, and talk crap about your tag title reign with Angel but as I already explained, it doesn't matter to me who the top "member" of a team was.
I could point out that your only singles title was the Xtreme Title but until this point I had only held the X-Division Title so it'd be very hypocritical of me to make fun of you for that. You've competed in the Road to the Gold tournament while I've never been in it. As long as we've been in nCw, Phil, there are certain things about us that are still unknowns to the masses that watch us on a weekly basis. Think of the people watchin' this show on Sunday night.
All of them expect these other matches to step up and steal our spotlight. I bet if I took a straw poll with the fans who came to Omaha for this show, most of them would probably say we have no business being in the main event of this show. Three years ago, Phil, I came across this same situation. People were talking about me and another guy who were supposed to main event a pay per view but that choke artist and a guy who had been viewed as middle of the ring got the main event.
And do you know what they did?
They got match of the year. One of those men just came to nCw and I'll leave it up to everyone to figure out who it is. The point that I'm making is this, Phil. I might not like you but I want to go out and prove to the Falcon fans, the Adam Knite fans, the Angel fans and whoever else's fans that we deserve that main event spot on Sunday night. I know that I can do it, Phil. I know that when Brad Kane gets into a pay per view main event he doesn't leave anything back.
My last singles match in the main event in nCw was over two years ago against Lance Ryan. No one talks about the match because I was in it but it was a forgotten classic. I battled him for forty five minutes and that's nothing compared to how long I'm willing to go against you Phil to show that this belt belongs around my waist. Bring your cheap shots. Bring your little jokes and quips. I don't even care if you bring down a chair to that ring.
I am not leaving Sunday night without this nCw World Title. I don't care if I have to take you to an hour draw. I don't care if I have to get myself counted out. It's keep this at all costs. I know I got that champion of my family thing going for me but I want to keep this belt longer then Spike did. I want people to look at me and Spike in a light that makes him look like complete crap. If I have to break the amount of days he held this title by the worst means possible then so be it.
With this one title, I can finally put myself above that piece of crap. I won't allow you to take this from me, Burns. I'll kick your head off if you do. Sunday night, I'm comin' into this match with so many things yet to prove. Just as long as I leave with this title, the night is great.
Peace."
