You could try and read my lyrics off of this paper before I lay 'em
But you won't take the sting out these words before I say 'em
Cause ain't no way I'ma let you stop me from causin mayhem
When I say 'em or do somethin I do it, I don't give a damn
what you think, I'm doin this for me, so **** the world
But you won't take the sting out these words before I say 'em
Cause ain't no way I'ma let you stop me from causin mayhem
When I say 'em or do somethin I do it, I don't give a damn
what you think, I'm doin this for me, so **** the world
Our cameras open to Xavier Williams in the gym before Picture Peerfect. swea is dripping off of his body. He is standing in the mirror, as his head is nodding, the earbuds in his hears is the reason. He stops and takes the buds out of hisears and he looks into the mirror.
Never claimed to be perfect... never claimed to be Jesus.
I only claimed to be a man.
Make mistakes, hurt people, seek forgiveness...
That's all I really can do to some of the people. And yet, some people still want to hang it over your head, like a guillotine and inch is closer and closer to your neck. Expecting you to quick.. to throw your hands up int he air and just walks away.
But that ain't me. It's never been me. Ever since day one, I've said that I would never deny what I've done. And int his recent back and forth with Venom it made me look within and really question things.
Is the Honor championship right for me? Then I look into this mirror.
Points to the mirror and walks closer, placing his hand on it
And I see a man, who's done a lot of right and wrong, but... that is all men. Right and Wrongs. And for somereason, they wrongs get thrown harder back at you the the good. And...
It's annoying. It just makes you want to strike harder, train longer, I see Venom's face and I want to pu tmy fist THROUGH his face, but in this environment, I can't really do that. but I can do one thing. One thing to completely humiliate that prick and that is out-wrestle him.
Out-wrestle and watch him finally take that dick and shove it into his mouth so he can go **** off somewhere in the corner.
Xavier steps away from the mirror and walks over to a workout bench and sits down. He has his hands clasped as he looks back up at the camera.
I watched your Promo and I turned it off. I stopped listening and then that buzzing in my ear, that annoying little gnat... went away. Venom... you are just an annoyance to me. So concerned at what every else is doing. So who cares what Steve, Falcon, Adam and Brad are doing, they have their own problems and their own agendas. I sit back and let it all unfold. But what kind of man bases his own success off on what other people are doing?
But to answer the meat of your Promo about me winning without Honor... let me ask you, if someone handed you the world on a platter...
Would you tun it down?
And before you lie and say, 'no', let me tell that this is the only time that offer is on the table.
They offered me the world on a platter and they handed it to me, and i took it, without even thinking or flinching. I took it.
And you want to know my biggest mistake. When I had the World... I let it slip through my hands. I was handed the ball, the goal line right in front of me You see when **** is handed to you, you don't learn to appreciate it, as much as you would if you earned it. And if these last few years, I've been stuck trying t piece together this ****, like a puzzle with incorrect pieces.
It wont fit, the picture isn't complete.
But in the time I took when I was away on injury it put into perspective. It could end like that
Xavier snaps his fingers,
And then that's it. Your holding a press conference and you're announcing your retirement. And when that reality hit me... it woke up something inside of me. I don't want to walk away from this game yet. I put too much in, to walk away with a bad taste in my mouth.
That hell that misery, all that failure was nothing more than a cleansing. Venom... that **** was hell. I walked through and you DAMN well bet I came out a stronger man.
He's still ****tin, whether he's on salary paid hourly
Until he bows out or he ****s his bowels out of him
Whichever comes first, for better or worse
He's married to the game, like a **** you for Christmas
His gift is a curse, forget the Earth, he's got the urge
to pull his dick from the dirt, and **** the whole universe
Until he bows out or he ****s his bowels out of him
Whichever comes first, for better or worse
He's married to the game, like a **** you for Christmas
His gift is a curse, forget the Earth, he's got the urge
to pull his dick from the dirt, and **** the whole universe
Xavier gets up from the bench and walks into the locker room. We cut away.
-----------------------
Our camera open again and we see Xavier standing on the roof of an old building, looking out into the skyline he points off into the distance.
The Qwest Center. Me and you, Venom. The last match before the light go hot. It seems weird that I'm pouring all this emotion into it. But... I just really want to see the look on your face when that bell rings and I'm holding that title.
Yeah it's selfish... but I'm being honest.
For three years, I've felt the fans anticipation when Iw alk out there. Wondering when I would beak that glass ceiling. Wondering when that fire was gonna re ignite and that they would see the old Xavier Williams walk down the ramp. The one who just couldn't be ****ed with it.
Yeah, I got dealt some bad cards, but that's life, you got to sway with the punches, but I'm tired of swaying and dodging. I am reedy to start swinging and start going on the attack and start dealing damage. This is my chance to give back to the fans who never turned their backs on me and the fans who've I let down.
Xavier turns his back to the arena and sits on the ledge
Venom, I've made mistakes and **** ups an thank you for bringing them up to me,t hank you for telling me everything i did wrong. Thank you for telling me all my losses, all my dirty dealings.
Thank you for forcing me to look in that mirror and seeing the man that I've become.
And a smirk creeps over his face
And I want nCw to thank you... for letting Xavier Williams out of his cage.
We fade to black.
Okay quit playin with the scissors and ****, and cut the crap
I shouldn't have to rhyme these words in the rhythm for you to know it's a rap
You said you was king, you lied through your teeth, for that
**** your feelings, instead of gettin crowned you're gettin capped
And to the fans, I'll never let you down again, I'm back
I promise to never go back on that promise
I shouldn't have to rhyme these words in the rhythm for you to know it's a rap
You said you was king, you lied through your teeth, for that
**** your feelings, instead of gettin crowned you're gettin capped
And to the fans, I'll never let you down again, I'm back
I promise to never go back on that promise
