“Don’t doubt me. Don’t ever count me out. I’ve been in and out. But I will never falter.
I will never walk away from this company.”
I will never walk away from this company.”
The camera opens to Xavier Cross, shirtless with a pair of tattered, old, grey sweatpants. He leans against a heavy bag, a pair of gloves on his hand. Sweat rolls down his face and body as he squeezes the bag holding him up. In one fluid motion, Cross pushes the bag away from himself, raising a knee quickly his body shifts, and instead of landing a knee Cross comes over with a hard right using the stepping momentum to hit the bag with more force.
Cross stumbles back, falling on the floor exhausted. Looking up, the camera changes to a first person point of view.
We then see, from Xavier’s perspective we see his oldest son, Landon (3 years)punching a blown up, kid’s punching bag with the classic clown face. Cross laughs a bit shifting his position around to watch his son.
“Left…left…Right!”
Landon follows his father’s directions to the key, when the little boy finally hits the right, the clown falls over, but pops back up, hitting Landon and knocking him down.
The little boy looks up at his father, and then shifts into the same position.
“I’m just like you daddy!”
“Ha…No son try to be better than your old man. Pick yourself up and try again…”
Landon lifts himself up and hits the Clown bag, which falls over. Xavier reaches out grabbing the clown keeping it down, Landon jumps around celebrating. Cross smiles at his son’s innocents, but looking at him closely, Xavier’s eyes widen. A realization hits him, Cross picks himself up.
“You wanna lift weights?”
“No.”
“…wait what?”
“Nap!”
“Oh boy…”
Cross lifts Landon up, carrying his son out of the gym. A smile on his face

“I’ve showed a lackluster performance as of late to put it lightly. I’ve dropped matches I shouldn’t have dropped. I’ve been ill prepared, and I haven’t performed at the level that I’m used to, that these fans deserve. I’ve been a letdown. So here it goes. The vow.
This pay per view, I’m booked for the preshow. Where I was last pay per view, now I stare down the barrel of a gun that may contain a slip of paper that says ‘Bang!’ I see across the corner one of the strangest characters in the business.
Freakke the Clown
Clowns don’t get respect in the real world, in this business we see some odd people, Vampires, Alex Jones, heck Mike Honcho. We’ve had guys come out and bare their souls, their lives. While others seek to destroy lives, like one Steve Awesome sought to end Adam Knite’s.
I stand here a reformed man, there was once a time where I thought Leonard Fox was a visionary, and in a way he is. He created this brand, yes. But there is one thing he didn’t do.
He didn’t make it what it is, what Gib made it. What Adam made it? Hell, even what Steve made it. There are a lot of great superstars that are still on the roster, that have walked through this roster. There were times where I boasted that I was the greatest to ever walk through the curtains.
That was too far off.
So far off.
Now I stand here, preparing myself for a low-card opponent on a pay per view Pre-show. Where all the wrestling fans who don’t want to shell out the cash to buy a real show. Hell I’m not even main eventing this show. Jesus how far have I actually fallen?
I could blame it on the hit I took from after I split from Front Office.
But we know that isn’t true. We all know that. It was my fault I fell so hard, my fault that I am where I am. Call that disrespect Freakke, but I’ll give you everything I got come fighting time. Freakke is one of the more unique superstars in nCw. Finding mix results with his style, both in his trash talking, gimmicks and such. You as likely to catch a pie in the face as you are a steel chair.
That’s a 50-50 chance for those not paying attention.
Regardless, to sleep on this opponent would be something many people would suggest to me. But the oddball, unpredictable personality is possible the greatest wildcard in wrestling. You can scout strong style, you can scout high risk. You can’t scout crazy.
So I got to go check on the kids. But this isn’t the last I have to say for the week. Stay tuned kiddos.”
