The scene opens to Dorian sitting at his table eating what appears to be a steak with assorted vegetables and rice with a glass of Scotch to his right. The camera is facing the right side of the table only.
So, tell me, Mr. Houston, why did you wan an interview with me?
The camera turns to reveal a sml man who appearsto be in his latter twenties. The journalist is sweating and his hands are shaking almost imperceptibly. When he speaks, it is with a slight stutter.
Well, Mr. Wolvenskorn, I just wanted tohelp the public get to know you a litle bit. Uh...after all, you're one of the newest members of the nCw roster.
Indeed.
So...I have your permision to record your statements?
Well...uh...why did you decide to start? It looks like you're well-off, so you obviously didn't need the work.
My psychiatrist recomended getting intowrestly, so I took his advice to the next step. I immersed myself into it.
Oh, cool.
Very.
Well...uh...how do you feel about this week's match?
I feel well, Mr. Houston. I am as ready as it is possible for me to be, so there is nothing for me to do.
Are you nervous about it?
It is but human nature to be nervous. Therefore, because I am obviously human, yes I am nervous. Human nature aside, there is always te possibility that my opponent wll best me, despite my preparations.
So...you aren't sure if you'll win?
Quite the opposite, Mr. Houston, I am very confident I will win. BUt, one cannot predict the future.
I guess that's true. Um...have you met your opponent yet?
Not formally, no. I only know of him.
What do you think of him?
Dorian sighs and scowls at the journalist.
As I have already said, I have not met him. I cannot judge him if I have not met him, Mr. Houston.
Oh...uh...right. So...um...
Mr. Houston, do I make you nervous?
Uh...what? No! No, you don't. Why do you ask?
For one, Mr. Houston, you are sweating. Your hands have been shaking since I answered the door, andyou have a slight stutter that you did not have when you were interviewing that pathetic author last Tuesday in the restaurant. How either of you could afford even the right to be in there is beyond my comprehension, Mr. Houston. But, I digress. Once more I shallask, do I make you nervous?
At the mention of his interview with the author, Houston bean to sweat even more and to fidget in his seat. Dorian smiles at his obvious discomfort.
H-how...how did y-you...
I was at the restaurant you dolt. It's how I knew who you were hen you called.
Oh...I see. Well...I...uh...am nervous around you...uh...because...well...you see...there are rumors that...um...you are a....a....
Cannibal, Mr. Houston?
Y-yeah.
A broad smile plays across Dorian's face.
You need not worry about my eating you, Mr. Houston.
Houston, obviously relieved by this statement, lets out a loud sigh.
Did you enjoy your dnner, Mr. Houston?
Yes, very much. May I ask what it was?
You may. It was what I call A Piece of Susan.
Houston laughs at what he thinks was a joke. Then, at the expression on Dorian's face, tenses up again, and begins to shake once more.
W-what...what's in it?
Dorian laughs darkly.
Why, my slow friend, a girl names Susan!
