As Adam knows, last Saturday Night/Sunday Morning my hard drive suddenly became undetectable. Apparently it has affected a lot of Seagate drives that are my particular model. Its apparently a firmware problem that manifests itself at random and Seagate will replace the drive and recover your data.
I contacted them on Sunday and as of yet I have not received a reply. I dont have money for a new harddrive so I brought my other computer out of the closet but it needs work itself, hence the reason i retired it. For some reason, even with 2 extra fans it overheats and locks up about ever 25 minutes with no warning. im wanting to fix it and give it to my mom but ive tried everything.
This leaves me virtually no choice but to take a sabbatical until Seagate replaces my drive. I know it sucks, Im the world champ and its PPV week. But even if I managed to squeeze a few RPs out of this thing or go to a friends house then my work load would have to be limited for the next few weeks at least.
I dont want to do that. I already feel like Ive been an absentee champion anyway.
Id like to do an injury angle to cover this so i could still make sporadic appearances.
I also apologize for the lack of Up Late last week as promised. To the few who were looking forward to it I will make it up to you.
So until I come up with a hard drive from either Seagate or a financial investment of my own, I will see you on the other side.
If any of you need a team mate in Halo: Reach, I will be on sproradically when my son will let me turn off Dora. GT is itsNOTa2mur.
Im pretty proud that RTTG4 is upon us. Give it hell.
