{The stationary camera we are looking through, shows the image of nothingness. It is midnight on the highway into the Strip in Las Vegas, and this road is as empty as Sense's soul. In the distance we see what looks like two glowing eyes and they appear to be coming closer. The nearer they get the louder the noise that is emanating from them becomes. We soon realize that it is the headlights of an 18 wheeler as it drives on by. The stereo inside is booming loud. The camera angle now cuts into the inside of the cabin. The driver who is wearing a mechanics outfit and aviator sunglasses is recognized as Matt the Trucker. The passenger who is covered in a white hood is known as Lex Sense. The radio is blaring Fleetwood Mac's "Dream" and the Mattster is singing along to the lyrics.}
Matt the Trucker: "Thunder only happens when it's raining... Players only love you when their playing..."
{Lex Sense is uncomfortable with this situation as the lyrics begin to send him to a place inside his head. Looking off into the distance as Matt the Trucker continues with the chorus.}
Matt the Trucker: "They say, women, they will come and they will go... When the rain washes you clean you'll know..."
{Sense remembers a time when his wife was listening to this exact song from this almost forgotten band. As the final lyrics to this chorus is sung through the lungs of Matt the Trucker, Sense is transported into his past... once again.}
Matt the Trucker: "You'll know.."
{Lex Slips into a dream of the past.}
{The scene switches and now we are looking through Sense's eyes as he is staring through a plate glass window. On the other side is a gorgeous, blonde haired woman speaking through a phone. As he looks around we see that there are others lined up in a row all talking through telephones. Behind him are men dressed in officer uniforms and we realize we are in a prison and this must be sometime after he was detained for his actions. The woman continues to speak but we only hear static. That is until she reaches the end where she states...}
Alice Sense: I will never leave you.
{The scene quickly fades away and we are back in the cabin of the truck sitting next to the singing Mattster as Sense suddenly drops his fist on the dashboard, shutting the stereo off, as he screams..}
Lex Sense: BULL****!!!
Matt the Trucker: Fleetwood Mac are classic. No way in hell are they bull****. Be careful where you drop that fist pal.
Lex Sense: What the **** are you talking about?
Matt the Trucker: What in God's name are you talking about?
{Silence in the cabin becomes awkward as Matt the Trucker dabbles with the stereo to turn it back on.}
Matt the Trucker: You ain't much on having a proper conversation, so music is alls I got to keep me awake. I understand though, that that ain't your style so I got something that might be right up your alley.
{Mattster pops in a c.d. and "Bankrobber" by the Clash begins to play. Once again he begins to sing along as Sense gets lost in translation.}
Matt the Trucker: "My daddy was a bankrobber... but he never hurt nobody..."
{Sense once again falls into a daze and travels back in time.}
Lex Sense: Why wont these images leave me alone?
{He whispers as he falls into a wide awake slumber. His eyes close and darkness consumes him as he hears voices from his past.}
Kids: Daddy come here and play with us.
Lex Sense: I don't have the time.
Kids: Daddy come look at me.
Lex Sense: I've got to train honey.
{At first these children's voices were as loud as Matt's singing, but with each question asked the voices got lower and quieter.}
Kids. What did I do wrong?
Lex Sense: It's not you it's me.
Kids: Why don't you have the time for us?
Lex Sense: Please children try to understand.
{Soon the voices were to far away to hear and Lex Sense is awakened by a door slamming shut.}
Lex Sense: Don't leave me!!
{Matt the Trucker opens his door and explains.}
Matt the Trucker: Don't worry big guy I am just stopping at this bar to get something to eat. Wanna come?
Lex Sense: I don't think this is a good idea.
Matt the Trucker: Sure it is. You just got a victory over Conway, who by the way, put on a hell of a show. So we should celebrate with some drinks and grub.
Lex Sense: Hugo was an outstanding opponent and a good victory deserves celebrating.
{As Sense steps out of the truck the entirety rises a couple inches.}
Matt the Trucker: You are one heavy dude. We need to replenish ourselves. This is the last stop for miles. As you can see there is nothing but sand around.
Lex Sense: I have noticed that we are in the middle of nowhere.
Matt the Trucker: That is an understatement. We need to discuss your big match on nCw's next pay per view.
{The camera's angle cuts to behind two police officers that are just hanging out in front of this bar's parking lot.}
Cop 1: Look at the size of that man.
Cop 2: What do you think those two are up to?
Cop 1: From the looks of that giant retard... up to no good. We should call this in just in case we have to drop the hammer on those two.
Cop 2: Base this is....
{The view now switches to behind Sense and Matt.}
Matt the Trucker: I've been here before, and they have the best burgers in the world. Not to mention the beers, man oh ma....
{Matt continues to talk as Lex Sense tunes him out. They walk into the bar and the environment is a negative one. All discussions are silenced as they stare at this behemoth walking in. The lighting is dark and the people inside are all shady. There are a couple of booths surrounding the wall that are occupied by men and women who are headed to Vegas. A couple of tables in the middle and left of the room. Where men have there dates drinking into a stupor. While the right side was occupied by pool tables and bikers. In the back we have an old fashioned bar, where regulars sit, with a bartender behind it. As they walk in heads turn and mumbles and whispers begin to surround them. They pay no attention, oblivious to their surroundings and they find a booth to sit in the corner. Sense barely fits as his oversized body slumps down. Matt heads to the bar to order a drink.}
Stranger: Hey man?
{A biker speaks in the direction of Sense and he tries to get his attention.}
Biker: Hey man, I saw your last match and hoo boy you are one strong son of a bitch.
Lex Sense: Shut the **** up.
Biker: Hey man I was just trying to make small talk.
{The stranger walks away with a look on his face that screams, offended. As he goes back to his pool table he begins to talk to his friends as they all look in Sense's direction.}
Matt the Trucker: What did he want?
Lex Sense: A ****ing autograph.
Matt the Trucker: Did you give it to him? Because he don't look happy.
Lex Sense: In a minute I will.
Matt the Trucker: Anyways, we have to talk about your next opponents. It's not 1, it's 4, and the chances of you winning in those odds are not good.
Lex Sense: I have already defeated one of them. Daniel S. Hunter...
Matt the Trucker: The college drop out.
Lex Sense:... has fallen before me. The other three I don't know very well. There is Chuck Moss...
Matt the Trucker: The bum.
Lex Sense:... Andrew Cage,,,
Matt the Trucker: Mr. Unreliable.
Lex Sense: ...and Nero.
Matt the Trucker: The crazy **** with the pet rat. I don't see you having any problems with them.
Lex Sense: One thing I do know is never to underestimate anyone. Now I think you should walk away from this table Matt.
{As Lex finishes that statement, the biker walks toward him as his 3 buddies surround him from behind.}
Matt the Trucker: This is a mistake. How about we talk about this?
Biker: Why don't you go get us a round while we talk to your enormous friend.
{The word enormous echoed through the mind of Lex Sense as he is transported to his childhood where his father is attempting to teach him a lesson in winning and losing.}
Lex Sense: I am sorry father. I tried my best. He was just better than me.
Sense Sr.: Shut up boy! You have no excuses! This family comes from a long line of champions and you will follow in that tradition.
{Sense's father reaches down and lifts the young Lex off his feet. Sense Sr. then proceeds to lift his arm and backhand the small boy. Sending him twisting to the floor.}
Sense Sr.: You, my son are an enormous failure.
{The camera then pans back out of the dream. Out of his brain. Out of his skull. Out of his head and the camera stares into the eyes of a man who is enraged by these wicked dreams.}
Biker: Did you hear m...
{The biker is unable to finish that question because Lex's arm is across his chest and around his neck as he lifts him off his feet to deliver "The End"(Book-End).}
Lex Sense: That is enough of your words. You will not bring me down.
{The biker's friend standing to the right throws a wild swing. Sense ducks it and uses the guys momentum to spin him completely around as he wraps his arms around his mid-section. His fingers locking in front of the guy's gut. Sense snaps his hips and delivers a powerful release German Suplex that sends the poor fellow into the air, crashing through a front window and falling hard on the parking lot's concrete floor.}
{The camera now pans into the direction of the police officers.}
Cop 1: Holy ****. Did you see that?
Cop 2: What should we do?
Cop 1: Wait for back up.
{The camera moves back into the bar where we see Matt the Trucker drinking his beer and smiling from ear to ear. Sense stands straight up. Dominating the scene, when yet another foolish bastard attempts to attack Sense from behind. Holding a pool stick he lunges forward as Sense makes a 180 spin to block the swing with his right palm. He grabs the pool stick and with his left palm pushes the biker back sending him reeling, as Sense continues to spin 360 degrees swinging the pool stick until it connects across this poor bastards skull.}
Lex Sense: You brought this upon yourself!!
Matt the Trucker: Three down one more to go.
{The last of the bikers stands shaking as he just witnessed the total destruction of his 3 best friends. Fear in his eyes, he attempts to run away but Sense reaches out to grab the bikers forearm and swings him back around toward Sense's direction and he delivers a powerslam unto the pool table. The force of this slam makes the tables legs give way as the table comes crashing down. Lex stands to his feet where he hears the neck of a shotgun being choked. In front of him is a shaky bartender pointing the barrel to his face.}
Bartender: Now I don't wanna hurt you. You and I are going to relax and wait here for Nevada's finest to get here. Understand.
{With that last word said, Sense falls victim to another hallucination. This time of his Manager, Dexter Rigby explaining to Sense that the mental asylum is the place for him.}
Dexter Rigby: This is where you belong. Understand.
{Sense shakes it off and delivers a big boot to the bartender's chest. As the he is tossed back, his itchy trigger finger pulls the trigger and it all goes dark.}
{Fade to black but the audio is still on.}
Lex Sense: These silly dreams of mine.
{As the lights come back up we see that the bartender is sitting on the floor in front of the bar and Lex Sense is standing with his eyes closed. The shotgun on the floor and everybody running out in panic. Matt the Trucker decides to hide when he hears the sirens and police outside. Tazers drawn and aimed at the suspect we see panic across the faces of all police officers that have now entered the bar.}
Cop 1: Get down on the floor!!
Lex Sense: I have been here before.
Cop 1: I don't care! Get on the floor now!
Lex Sense: I have been there too.
Cop 1: I am going to count to thre..
{Before he could finish that sentence, an eager rookie shoots the tazer, followed by the rest of the officers. The shock waves bring a smile to Sense as he is forced to his knees by the pain. Soon afterward officers move in with batons and beat the living daylights out of him. In all the ruckus, rights were forgotten as fear crept into the hearts of these men and women. It took ten police officers and 3 handcuffs to bring this man down. Although Sense never fought back. Unable to fit in a regular patrol car they shove Sense into a paddywagon and drive off.}
Bartender: Who is going to pay for my bar?
Cop 1: Right now that is not our concern.
{Soon all the cops have driven off and all that remains is a scene of destruction. Four bikers in pain and a bartender whose bar is wrecked. Mattster takes this as an opportunity to slip away. As he steps out of the restroom he notices a Rolls Royce pull up in font of the bar. Recognizing who it is he slips back into the restroom.}
{Out of the Rolls steps out a short, british, balding, well dressed man and he heads into the bar. Matt the Trucker slightly pushes the door open to reveal this man handing out envelopes to all of the victims of Sense.}
Short man: You can come out now.
Matt the Trucker: Oh ****! This David Hyde Pierce looking mother****er is going to give nothing but aches and pain.
{He says as he steps out.}
Short man: We paid a considerable amount of money to keep Mr. Sense on track. Not to put on a show with these men.
Matt the Trucker: What was I suppose to do? I shouldn't even be here. If he would have never assaulted me in that par...
Short man: But you were and you should feel lucky. You have been chosen by this organization to do the simplest of tasks. Help Mr. Sense find his way to the nCw arena so that we could bathe in the profits. Now get in the bloody car.
Matt the Trucker: What about my truck?
Short man: I said get in the bloody car. We have an innocent man to set free.
{The british man and Mattster step into the Rolls Royce and drive in the direction where the sirens light the sky.}
Matt the Trucker: "Thunder only happens when it's raining... Players only love you when their playing..."
{Lex Sense is uncomfortable with this situation as the lyrics begin to send him to a place inside his head. Looking off into the distance as Matt the Trucker continues with the chorus.}
