{Our perspective is that of black. Nothing can be seen, only heard. A telephone is lifted off of it's receiver and we hear the dialing of numbers. The phone rings once, then twice and a third before it is answered. We hear a females voice begin to speak to a male. Both of British decent.}
Female: Did you get them to drop the charges?
Male: The incident at the bar was taken care off. The victims of Mr. Sense barely agrued the point. They knew they were wrong.
Matt the Trucker: Maybe it was them envelopes filled with big bucks that caused them to agree with you.
Male: This is not your concern Matthew so please do us a favor and keep your mouth shut.
Female: Who was that?
Male: The driver we hired. He can't seem to keep his opinions to himself.
Female: That does not concern me. Did you manage to get the judge to drop the case?
Male: Mr. Sense was due in court this morning. I spoke to the judge then and manged to convince him that Mr. Sense was not the one to blame for these actions. Without the witnesses to claim otherwise there wasn't much to go on. Some of the officers tried to hold him for resisting arrest but due to the injuries that Mr. Sense sustained during his arrest there wasn't much for them to hold him on. He is scheduled for release at 6 p.m. Friday evening.
Female: Lex is scheduled to wrestle on Sunday. That is two days from now. please make sure he arrives on time. We have a lot riding on his success in nCw.
Male: Understood madame. I will see that he gets there. They have released footage of Mr. Sense's interrogation and I am now uploading it to the nCw website. It will double as his promo.
Female: Are you sure that is wise?
Male: I will let you see it and judge for yourself. I am sending the link to you now.
{The female from earlier begins to speak as the image on screen is replaced with a familiar Rolls Royce with two men inside.}
Female: Post it. Don't let me down West.
West: I am awaiting Mr. Sense's release, which is happening now. Dr. Lyons are you sure this is wise?
{The phone's line goes dead and West hangs it up. He turns to Matt who looks displeased.}
Matt the Trucker: I can't believe you got him off on a technicality.
West: Miranda Rights are important in the judicial system. Plus the manner in which they apprehended Mr. Sense was horrid. They are lucky I don't bring them up on charges.
Matt the Trucker: The man is out of his mind. He is going to end up killing someone.
West: Wont be the first time.
{As he finishes that statement the camera steps out of the car and heads into the police station. The letters in the front of the building are blurred. The camera steps inside and heads toward the back. Passing the lobby of a very busy day at the station. The camera goes through doors until it reaches a door labeled "Holding Cells". Detective Simmons is fidgeting with the lock and soon opens the door. The camera goes in following the good detective. His destination is Sense's holding cell. As we travel we pass cells with prisoners all staring in the same direction. When we reach the final one we see a couple of convicts with uncomfortable looks for in the middle of the cell is Sense who is doing push-ups completely naked. His clothes neatly folded beside him.}
Detective Simmons: Do you always work out in the nude?
Lex Sense: Yes.
Detective Simmons: It looks like you were right. You are free to go.
Lex Sense: I knew she would not let me down.
Detective Simmons: Get dressed and get the **** out of my precinct.
{The camera cuts back to the outside where West and Matt await their rather large friend. When they see him stepping out of the building they begin to walk towards him.}
West: Mr. Sense, how was your stay?
Lex Sense: Better than some of the places I have been. What the **** are you doing here Mr. West?
West: You knew Dr. Lyons was keeping tabs on you. We hired Matt here to keep an eye on you. When we realized how much of a failure he is we had to intervene. You are a man of great talents. You should not be wasting them on web shows.
Lex Sense: Whatever. I accept my role in nCw. I will work my way up the ladder. This match will help me get through 4 opponents with one swing. I am grateful for this opportunity. Now get out of my way I have a pay per view to get to.
West: I will give you a lift. It is the least I can do.
{Sense looks toward West in serious disdain.}
Lex Sense: That is ok Mr. West. Just point me in the right direction.
West: You plan to walk? It is a couple of miles away. Are you sure?
Lex Sense: I will be fine.
West: Before you leave, Dr. Lyons wished for you to have this.
{West hands Sense a letter. He opens it to reveal a photo. A picture of him with his family in more happier times. On the back something is written, "Focus on what is important". Sense drops the photo and the camera zooms in on it. The family photo is missing the end. It has been torn off. The picture contains Sense with his wife and kids and a hand of someone who has been ripped from the picture. Sense just walks away towards the Road to the Gold with new inspiration.}
West: Good luck Mr. Sense. Don't muck this up.
{West gets into his vehicle and drives away leaving Matt behind.}
Matt the Trucker: What about my ****ing truck?
{Matt runs over to Sense}
Matt the Trucker: I have to do what he says.
Lex Sense: I know. So do I. Any word from my opponents?
Matt the Trucker: Not a one. I am going to run back to get my truck. I will meet you there.
Lex Sense: Whatever.
{Matt runs the opposite direction as Lex continues forward. Heading towards Las Vegas.}
Female: Did you get them to drop the charges?
Male: The incident at the bar was taken care off. The victims of Mr. Sense barely agrued the point. They knew they were wrong.
Matt the Trucker: Maybe it was them envelopes filled with big bucks that caused them to agree with you.

{The video begins to play and the image and audio are a bit off. You could tell that the feed came from a security camera within the police station. Lex Sense is sitting behind a table with a look of hate on his face. His makeup is watered down as if they attempted to wash it off to no avail. This is obviously an interrogation room and Lex is restrained to his chair with chains and locks.Three walls behind him and to his side are all painted white with nothing on them. The wall in front of him is also the same except for the large mirror, which we can assume is a two-way. To his right is a door that is now being opened and two men dressed in suits walk in.}
Man: Good evening Lex. My name is detective Simmons and this is Detective Layfield. We are here to figure out what went on in "Desert Bar" last night. We will ask you some questions and you will answer truthfully. Can you tell us your name?
Lex Sense: You already know it.
Detective Simmons: We are recording this as evidence for the court so if you would entertain me, please answer my question.
Lex Sense: I am "the Future". My birth name means little anymore.
Detective Layfield: Look you miserable punk. Just answer the goddamm question!!
Lex Sense: I did. (He chuckles} My name is Lex Sense. This is futile. I know what you want, but this is ridiculous. I am not going to be here long enough for either of you to care. Higher Authority is coming and I will be released.
Detective Layfield: Higher authority, huh? Look, you are guilty of a crime. You beat 4 guys into the ground. You assaulted the bartender with your foot. Luckily you didn't murder anyone. Let's expediate this process so we could get on with our lives. We just want to know why you are here and what is wrong with you.
Detective Simmons: What my dear partner is trying to say is, we want to help you in this situation. We have you dead to rights and you are not going anywhere. You are scheduled before a judge tomorrow and I guarantee that you will be going to a state prison for assault. We simply want to make this transition easier for you.
{The whole time Sense has been staring at his chains. Something this cop said inspires him to look straight in the eye of his oppressors and he begins to speak.}
Lex Sense: My name is Lex Sense. I am "the Future" of nCw. I am here because I am walking that Road to the Gold. My path has put these 4 morons in my way. My job is to ensure that nothing stands in my way.
Detective Simmons: Ok... so these four men stood in your way and you took it upon yourself to push them out of your way.
Detective Layfield: Is that an admittance of guilt?
Detective Simmons: In a round a bout way. So Lex, did you know these four men?
Lex Sense. I knew them as much as the public knows them. I have seen what they have put out there and know them in that way. They are new here as am I.
Detective Simmons: Wait a minute, these were residents of the State of Nevada. They have been here a lo...
{The dectective is cut short by Sense as he continues with his speech.}
Lex Sense: Sure they have been here longer than I have, but experience says that I will be here longer. It was fate that decided that we five rookies of nCw were destined to fight for the number 1 contendership for the Honor championship.
Detective Layfield: What. in. the. hell. are you talking about? There was no contest or tournament to be won. You assaulted these four men for no other reason than that you are crazy. You could have seriously injured them. What about their families?
Lex Sense: What about mine?!! Why should they matter more than me. I am here to recover and take what is rightfully mine. I plan to dominate any human being that stands before me. I am here for a purpose and that is to wrestle. This business took my wife and kids from me. They brought untrustworthy managers into my life and more importantly of all turned me into a psychopathic monster. I can't tell what is real or not. My past reminds me that I will never be normal again and I don't care. I will fight because it is what I was trained to do. It's the only way to get them back. My mission is clear and those four men don't even stand a chance against me.
Detective Simmons: You don't even know them. You have lost your mind. Do you even know why we are questioning you? Did you even know there names?
Lex Sense: First, there is Andrew Cage. A man who as far as I could tell has only had one match since he joined nCw. This man's only claim to fame is being a part of some idiotic gang with the moronic moniker, "The Rat Pack". Silly name for silly men. I had rats as pets in my lifetime and just like their fate I will choke the life out of Cage. A parody of a wrestler.
{The Detectives give each other a stare of confusion.}
Lex Sense: Second, there is Daniel S. Hunter. I wonder if the S stands for ****. I wrestled him once and came out victorious due to his inability to concentrate. Instead he was more worried about festivals and luxuries he barely affords. His mind was not in the match but even if it was, I still would have crushed him. That is undeniable. The man is best suited in the bottom of the pile.
Detective Simmons: Wha...
Lex Sense: Third, there is the man known as Chuck Moss. Him I respect. He and I share some things in common. For instance we both are beggars, vagabonds and drifters. We both have lost it all. But here is where the commonality ends. Where he lost it all for being a no good lazy alcoholic. I lost it all for winning. Chuck has spoken about the time when he almost committed suicide and I think to myself. That maybe he should have. At least that way he wouldn't be here now bothering me.
{Detective Layfield taps on the 2-way mirror and looks as though he is asking his reflection a question but gets no answer.}
Lex Sense: Fourth of this group is Nero. A man who has been living in his brothers shadow his whole life. He manages to break away from that and ends up living behind failure's shadow. The man is so lonely and pathetic that he recruits a rat to help his sanity. However, out of the four he may be the one to win. Only because a man as crazy as that is capable of anything. I heard him say that warrior's blood flows through his veins. That he is proud to be a fighter. That is something I can relate to. I would like to see if it is true. I will force his blood to run on the floor he walks on. Just to be able to identify if it truly belongs to a warrior.
{Sense breathes heavily and looks at his chains.}
Lex Sense: These four men you speak of mean nothing to me. They got in my way and I stepped over them. They were not warriors like the men I will wrestle on Sunday therefore, they fell without putting up a fight. That is not my problem.
Detective Simmons: So what you are saying is you did know these men. Funny because we can't get a hold of them and you just gave us there names.
{There is a knock on the door. A man walks in and hands a paper to the detectives. They pass it around and then toss it in front of Sense.}
Detective Layfield: You are speaking of wrestling! You are a wrestler! You have been talking about your upcoming match! You have wasted our ****ing time!!
Lex Sense: I told you I wont be here long enough for it to matter.
{The video ends.}
