The journey from Detroit Michigan to Calgary Alberta Canada had been a long an exhausting one but no matter how tired she was from traveling the Technical Princess was in a very good mood. Unlike with her previous employer Stephanie now felt at home with New Championship Wrestling and nothing could break her spirits. In her eyes she was exactly where she wanted to be. She won her first two matches and now she was booked to wrestle in a rematch against Roxxxie but this time the stakes were indeed bigger. This time if Stephanie won she would be named as the number one contender for the Women’s World Championship, and it was something she was working hard towards. She knew that title shots don’t come around often so she would be doing her best to make sure that she was granted the opportunity, the only thing left to do was beat Roxxxie. She was focused for it and with what we saw from Stephanie from the previous two weeks we knew that she was for real.
Nothing could distract her from reaching the top of the mountain and it would take a serious roadblock to break up the momentum that she had been building. Unfourtunately for Stephanie that stumbling block was approaching and it was coming towards her sooner than she ever realized…
Our scene opens up and this time we are taken to Calgary Alberta Canada which is going to be the home of the upcoming New Championship Wrestling Pay Per View Breaking Away. It is a couple of days before the big event and we are brought to the hotel that all of the wrestlers are staying at. We are able to see Stephanie standing in front of the receptionist with a smirk on her face. The man hands her a keycard and smiles as he begins to speak to her.
Receptionist: “Ms. Sullivan your room is 213 which is on the second floor. We hope you enjoy your stay at the Marriot Courtyard and if you have any problems be sure to contact us at the front desk.”
Stephanie: “Thank you, you have a good one…”
Stephanie says back in a friendly manner, as she turns her back to the desk and begins to head towards the elevator. However as she does so the doors to the hotel swing up and we are able to see a man with braids walking through the doors. A man who was very familiar to Stephanie. She just glanced over at the man in total shock not really believing that he would be at the same hotel as she. Like seriously what are the odds of that? However she didn’t let it bother her as she paid no attention to it as she continued making her way to the elevator. But the arrival of him wasn’t enough suddenly the hotel lobby was filled with all sorts of photographers and they all had their cameras pointed towards the entrance. Stephanie quickly shook her head in disgust as she crossed her arms just keeping her eyes on the entrance door.
Stephanie: “You seriously got to be kidding me…Why her and why me…..”
There was no denying it any longer. It was like a page out of her past appeared in front of her an she was now forced to deal with it. On the other side of the room was the father of her son Tyler, Todd Williams. Todd had never been there for Tyler he never has been. Maybe it’s over the way that Tyler came to be. As he was a result of Stephanie cheating on her best friend’s husband… She wanted to rip Todd out for not being in Tyler’s life but she didn’t as she had bigger things to worry about which was his wife. The woman who was once considered as a sister, her former best friend Crystal Hilton. Crystal stood just a couple of feet away from her, and she was still up to the same things. Making a scene, acting like such a Prima Donna in front of the hungry media. It was enough to make Stephanie sick. Stephanie however keeps her cool as she walks past Todd and the photographers. She get’s right in Crystal’s face and Crystal just smirks as she looks back at her.
Crystal: “Oh my God look who it is Todd. You didn’t tell me that she was working at this company that we signed with. I thought coming to New Championship Wrestling would be a great way to get your career going and would give me more time to hang out with my home girl Zelda but I didn’t know that two face b^tches were also here. This is going to be fun…Especially when these same people get in my face when they know they have never beaten me in the ring in their whole career…Long time no see Steph…”
Crystal says with a wicked grin as she poses for the cameras. Crystal was always going to be Crystal, and nothing was going to change the egotiscal witch. Stephanie cocked her fist back and was thinking about decking Crystal right in the face but now wasn’t the proper time nor place. Stephanie had bigger things to worry about. Beating Roxxxie was the most important thing to her right now and she wasn’t going to detour from that. The road got rocky with Crystal’s arrival but Stephanie wasn’t about to let her ruin the momentum she had going. NCW was the place where her career had restarted and she was a whole new person….However she couldn’t wait to eventually Crystal in the ring because beating her would close one of the chapters to her life…Stephanie just goes about her own business as she turns her back to Crystal and heads off towards the elevator…”
Well everyone this is your favorite princess, the Technical one Stephanie Sullivan. Life can really seem like a bitch sometimes. When things are going good for you a dark cloud suddenly starts to hover over you bringing bad luck and is a road block for what you want to accomplish. For me that roadblock is Crystal Hilton, and I will not rest until I beat her in the ring. Her and Zelda both…I just won’t stop until I can prove to the world that I have what it takes to compete with the best in the ring. Beating them will validate that I am a credible wrestler and I won’t let anything detour me from getting to my point.
Tommorrow is the big day and I have Roxxxie on my plate. While Roxxxie want’s to focus on the present I am going to look at the future at whether I am going to face Trish Newborn or Emma Danielson because I have my eyes on the prize. Unlike Roxxxie I know that there are better things at the end of the path, whether that path throws a detour, or a roadblock you can’t just give up and quit. You must keep pushing because quitting is only a shortcut to losing. Besides roadblocks are there for a reason and we need to gather up the strength to deal with it. Once we do that, it will never be a problem again and that’s why I am choosing to do things the right way. I took the easy way out during my last run in the business but this one is a new one and I know I was destined to greatness. All I need to do is work hard and I can achieve anything. As the saying goes whatever doesn’t kill me will only make me stronger. So I must prevail…Roxxxie I really am sorry. I am sorry that you just happened to be one of the roadblocks in my way…Nothing and I mean nothing will stop me from reaching the top of the mountain. The only question I have is are you ready?”
