Our scene opens up and this time we are taken back to a suburban part of Detroit Michigan. We are just a couple of days away from the very first New Championship Wrestling Pay Per View of the year “Time to Riot” and it has been shaping up to have quite the card. Among all of the matches one stood out from the rest and that match is none other than Stephanie Sullivan taking on Trish Newborn for the Women’s World Championship. Trish Newborn has been in the company since September and has found herself becoming a World Champion at Breaking Away in November. That in itself is a great accomplishment but as Trish was winning the championship a new woman arrived on the NCW scene and that person is none other than the Technical Princess Stephanie Sullivan. At first Stephanie only came to NCW as a way to get her hands on Zelda trying to give her payback for how she took her Hardcore Championship on the very last Ring of Beauty show but slowly it became more than that. Stephanie got better and she defeated the likes of Roxxxie, Ayla St. James, and Emma Danielson. In fact Stephanie is undefeated in singles matches but now her true test is just ahead of her as she is going to wrestle Trish Newborn for biggest prize of them all and that’s where we currently stand.
With that being said we are brought to Stephanie’s grandmother’s home. Inside we are taken to the living room. The room is dark and the only lights that are shining in the room are the ones coming off the ChrisIn the living room sitting down on a sofa we are able to spot the one and only Stephanie Sullivan sitting down on the sofa. She doesn’t seem to be herself as her eyes are staring off into the distance. She seems to be in a trance of sorts as she doesn’t say a word just thinking to herself. Moments later we are able to see Stephanie’s grandmother walking into the room. She turns the lights on and just stares over at Stephanie. She sighs as she begins to speak to her.
Grandma: “What’s going on Stephanie honey? You don’t seem to be yourself. You haven’t been eating and all you seem to have done today is sit on that couch without moving an inch. Is everything alright? You aren’t upset over the way we celebrated Christmas are you?”
Stephanie slowly shakes her head in disagreement as she glances back up into the eyes of her grandmother. She let’s out a fake grin as she slowly replies back to her.
Stephanie: “No Grandma Christmas was fine. It was touching to see Tyler so happy to spend the holiday with his Great Grandma and him being happy makes me happy. This has nothing to do Christmas, you always know how to make us feel special during the holidays and what I am going through has nothing to do with you. If you really want to know I am just thinking about my upcoming Women’s Championship match against Trish Newborn at the Pay Per View…”
Stephanie’s grandmother just sighs as she stares down at her granddaughter. Stephanie’s eyes just stare back into her grandma’s. Grandma Sullivan slowly begins to reach out to Stephanie.
Grandma: “What’s there to be worried about Stephanie? You have been doing great. You haven’t lost a one on one match and now you have the opportunity to go out there and win a World Championship. Just go out there and do what you do best…”
Stephanie just sighs as she replies back to her.
Stephanie: “Well that’s what I was planning to do but I just don’t know anymore. Everybody in the whole world thinks I am going to lose to Trish. It is a little discouraging when you visit NCW.Com and read one of the polls where 90 percent of the people think that Trish is going to successfully retain her belt against me. Like seriously what the hell? Am I chopped liver am I that much of a fluke that people have to doubt me? What gives grandma? I gave one hundred and ten percent in every single one of my matches but yet no one is even noticing it. So if they aren’t even noticing it why shouldn’t I even go out there and give everyone my all again. I am beginning to think it’s not even worth it…”
Stephanie just sighs as she stares down at the floor. Grandma Sullivan however refuses to let her granddaughter get like this as she takes a seat next to her on the couch. She places her arms gently around her and pulls her in closely as she tries her best to reach out to her.
Granmda: “Stephanie in all honesty who cares what the people think. Whether they love you or hate you that isn’t important. The only thing you need to be worried about is winning that World Championship. That is what you have been working hard for and you shouldn’t let one person’s opinions get to you. It may not may seem like much but not everyone out there thinks that Trish is going to beat you. Because you still have ten percent that believe in you and you can’t back down and let them down. I am among that small percentage and more importantly than that your son Tyler is also in it. He is so happy around you and no matter what presents he opened on Christmas don’t you think the greatest present he could receive is seeing his mother happy over becoming a World Champion… You know it would make me happy seeing it…”
Stephanie finally manages to crack a grin on her lips and she just stares back at her grandmother holding her tightly in a hug. She replies back to her.
Stephanie: “I guess you are right but still it’s just more than what the people think. Trish also said some mean things about me and she doesn’t even know me. Seriously WTF... who is she to say the things about me…. And especially the things about you. It just get’s me so upset…”
Stephanie’s grandmother actually begins to crack up as she stands up and walks over to the Christmas Tree. She reaches under the tree and picks up an envelope. She grins as she opens Stephanie pulling a ticket from out of it. She can’t help but smile.
Grandma: “Steph Trish can’t be all that bad. Like she bought me this front row ticket for the pay per view, and I will have the opportunity to see you kick her ass all through out the arena in person. Finally my princess will ascend her throne… So don’t give up Stephanie you worked to hard to just lose it all now, and it won’t be Trish that beats you but it will be yourself. Your better than this so stand tall and just do what you know you can do…”
Stephanie finally stands up on her two feet and she nods her head in agreement as she stares over at her grandma. She finally grins as she replies back.
Stephanie: “I guess your right all I need to do is focus and I know I can achieve anything even becoming the Women’s World Champion. I can just see it now the princess becomes a queen and everyone will be watching in awe as my hands are raised in victory as the announcer screams out. “And the winner of this match and your new World Women’s Champion Queen Stephanie!!!!!. I feel it Grandma just promised that you and Tyler will continue to believe in me.”
Grandma: “Oh we will hun just do your best alright…”
Stephanie smirks as she just stares back at her grandmother, and it is on this image that we slowly fade out on.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well Trish here we are just a couple of days away from going against each other for the glory of becoming the NCW Women’s World Champion. Now you seem to already have said a lot of things about me and you don’t even know what I am about or who I am for that matter. All you see in front of you is some chick who is desperate to get her hands on Zelda Knite and nothing else is important to her. Well let me be the first to tell you how I really feel. I won’t sugar coat anything but I am just going to get right to the point and be blunt about it. Shut the f… up. Trish the only reason I talk about my past is because it shapes to who I have become today. It helps guide me or what to do so I don’t make the same mistakes that I once did. However that means nothing to you. All you care about is showing everyone why you are the so called Queen of NCW and how you are a champion, and the same thing won’t happen to Emma to you. How you won’t be a transitional champion. Blah blah blah… that in itself is the story of professional wrestling so go somewhere else with your story.
On top of that you claim that you are not impressed by the things I have accomplished since being in NCW. I am undefeated in one on one matches here in NCW and that alone should have you worried but instead you are blowing it off like it doesn’t even mean a thing. That’s fine Trish just keep overlooking me because at Time To Riot you are going to be shocked asking yourself how did I get myself into this mess when you are tapping out like a little bitch when I wrap my arms around your arrogant little neck in my Scandal Lock. Your going to begging screaming wishing that I would let you go and I am just going to laugh as I show you what this nonimpressive woman can do.
You are right though. I did beat Roxxxie, I did beat Emma Danielson, and I even beat Ayla St. James. When I was fighting them at the time I had nothing else but a one track mind. All I cared about was getting my hands on Zelda and didn’t really care about anything else but things change over time and I really have to thank Ayla St. James for opening up to me. She told me that she hoped that I was different from you. Different in the way that I respect the hard work that they put into this company with the Women’s division. I didn’t really understand where she was coming from until this match between the two of us was made. In a nutshell she hopes that I don’t become the cocky piece of crap that you are and I promise that I won’t.
I already have been down that path once and it is eating me on the inside seeing my former best friend Crystal going down that path. It’s a path that I refuse to tread down any longer and it is my right to destroy anyone who wants to be full of themselves as if they are God’s gracious gifts to Earth. Don’t you worry though Trish. I promise to beat you badly…You don’t have to worry about any of that. But it’s ok Trish. You have nothing to worry about like you said I am not a threat to you. You aren’t impressed by me and I know for a fact that I am not impressed with you.
When I look at you Trish I can’t help but laugh girl. I know you are trying to act all powerful really trying to be this evil Queen of NCW but your bark is certainly more powerful than your bite. Your nothing but a joke and you can only talk a good game but you can’t do anything to back it up. Hell in all honesty you really remind me of the Wizard from the Wizard of Oz. In all reality your really nothing at all. Your just hiding behind smoke and mirrors and nothing will stop me from exposing the fraud that you are.
Well you maybe you are for real because you are asking for the same three things that Dorthy’s companions did. The first one being a brain to ask yourself the simple question of “why did I have to underestimate Stephanie”. The second being a heart which you could have used to be a little nicer to me so that I wouldn’t have been as pissed to get my hands around you. Last but not least courage because you damn sure are going to need that to endure the beating I am going to give you.
So hurry up and make something happen Trish because that may be the only hope you have to beat me. While you sit there and pondering what role I will portake in all of this. It’s simple I will be Dorothy. I am ready and I am clicking my heels three times wishing for the best.
“I wish I was champ”
“I wish I was champ”
“I wish I was champ”
At Time to Riot there will be a happy ending to this fairy tale and as usual the Princess will somehow rise against the evil wicked witch. I hope you are ready because the ending to this tale will be written on Sunday and it will end with me raising my hands in victory as I become the new World Women’s Champion.
This Sunday your reign as Queen will officially come to an end and my reign will begin…
