What real life wrestlers have made an impact on your efed character? Pretty simple question for some, hard for others.
For myself, I'd have to say that Reckless Jack has really taken in the verbal skills of CM Punk, Jimmy Jacobs and a tad bit of Chris Jericho.
As far as the wrestling style goes though, it's quite a wild mix of a who's who in independent and Japanese wrestling. That whole "Revolution" style I came up with is based up Bryan Danielson, KENTA, Matt Sydal and Mike Quackenbush.
I hope that gives a clear idea of my question and I hope to see some answers.

When Romero asked me, what Trent is like now, when I got him to come to nCw, I told him, Trent character is like that of Christian Cage/MVP with a hint of Brian Pillman for seasoning.
When I started with my E-Fed character Trent Helms, WCW was still around, despite the fact, it would die, less then a month later, I had always admired the Lucha Libre, and High Flying, Spotfest Wrestling, before you know, people called it such things on a regular basis.
As far as my character, I think of him more of a Hayabusa/Jushin Liger combo, or old school Sean Waltman, when he was the Lightning Kid.

I will admit, while I do like Indy Wrestling very much, I guess I just have a thing for mainstream stuff, when it comes to good promos. Proberly the only different between myself and Jack.

I'll be honest, character-wise there isn't any wrestler influence anymore. Originally Milo was pretty much a Kane/Undertaker blend and Dave was near as dammit Shawn Michaels... but then I changed the appearances first to self-made characters. This helped me break away from acting purely like my pic base but it was only half way there as getting pictures from a computer game is a lot of hassle. But then Serenity was released which led me to Firefly and bam! New pic bases and new character traits too.
Wrestling style-wise though, they've both stayed pretty consistent. Occasionally a new name gets added to the blend for Dave but Milo's always been Undertaker/Kane-esque. Since the latest pic bases though they have been a little more brawler-y. That's about it.

Trent...I love that gif.
For me...originally Spike started out as a mixture between Ken Shamrock (hence the anklelock) Jeff Hardy and Raven.
Over the years I kinda dropped the Jeff Hardy influence, I kept the finisher because it was part of Spike, showing he could always take to the skies if needed. The whole thing was that Spike was a hardcore guy, that could wrestle. With mic skills ripped right from the mouths of The Rock and Chris Jericho...where else do you think "The Spiked One" comes from?
Nowadays...I think Spike has the mind of Raven. Wrestling-wise, the way I intended was CM Punk crossed with the likes of Y2J, Tazzz and Dreamer, just for the brawling and insanity.

Hmmm I don't really relate Manson to anybody. I haven't really based him off anybody, and I don't watch any wrestling to know any indy wrestlers, or whats going on in other feds so that didn't influence the character either.
If I HAD to put a name to him I'm going to say Benoit and Jericho. With a bit of Cactus Jack mixed for the crazy factor I sometimes like to whip out.

Steve Awesome has always had that larger than life type of persona. But in my own personal life I always wanted to be an actor or do something that involved film. Wich is where the whole IOA thing comes from.
But as for wrestling style, Id like to think he is a mix between HBK and Jericho fused with the new wave of wrestling. Very flashy showman mixed with an actual knowledge of holds and grabs and a great technical attack.

Personality/Verbal Skills - Well, Joe's original personailty and mic skills were basically based around Charlie Haas. He didn't really speak much, but still got around well enough. He slowly transposed into the "I don't care if I suck as long as I get by" mind set, and finally now is on the almost Randy Orton of Evolution personality. A good team member, but destined for greatness.
Wrestling Skills - Originally, when I made him for Wrestlemania 2000 and then WWE Day of Reckoning 1, he was the standard guy. Spine Buster as the finisher, a few submissions, nothing really special. Then he slowly moved up in my heart (For lack of a better meaning) and he gained a much improved move set and a new finisher (SSD, Screwdriver). Then, when WWE Raw vs. Smackdown 2006 rolled around, I moved Joe to the big leagues, the X.H.F, my first E-fed. His move set was amazing, spanning from high flying moves from AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy and Paul London to heavy hitters like Goldberg, Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker. Basically, if it has been done, Joe can do it. And his finishes at the Twist of Fate and the Swanton Bomb, laying heavily on the Hardy Boyz sets. The majority of his moves, the Hardys have done.

A big influence is attitude and style would be Chris Jericho. His quickness and showmanship are amazing.
I hear Chris' voice in my head when i write stuff.

Well I would say that the original Ace (the face everybody loves to hate apparently) started out with the microphone skills of The Rock and Chris Jericho, with maybe a little DX Shawn Michaels thrown in there. Odd because apart from Chris Jericho, who is my fourth all time favourite, I wasn't a huge fan of any of them at the time. The rest of him was influenced by James Bond, who to me represents the man I'd like to be but am not.
Then came the awkward transition period of having come in as a super face for years, I needed a neutral phase which was somewhat my Force Of Nature period where the mic skills and mannerisms became like my ultimate fave Dark Side Undertaker...it didn't last long...
The Heel you know today has weapon influence from my 2nd favourite Triple H, and some of his microphone skills, gimmick and microphone influences from Badass Biker Undertaker, JBL, William Regal, and my third favourite Jeff Jarrett.
In terms of wrestling skill and mannerisms, the influences haven't changed.
Billy Gunn/Kip James (the most underrated star ever in my opinion), also he resembles what I imagine The Ace to look like in my head most.
James Bond, particularly Roger Moore mannerisms, which most would attribute to The Rock being the eyebrow raise, but also I think it is an entertaining mannerism from Spock for all you Trekkies.
Booker T
Chris Jericho
Shawn Michaels
Bret Hart
Ric Flair
But yeah over the nearly five years of being The Ace only his gimmick has ever so slightly drifted from where it began, and I hope to bring back the original Ace one day as I feel I'm even better playing the face.
The original concept came from the fact that I am an avid card player with about six decks that I consider lucky and irreplaceable, I try to keep one at hand all the time, and somehow I discovered I was a big fan of Motorhead affter hearing their most famous track which was my original theme and the name trickled down from there, nowadays of course its Casino Royale influences and most people who know me well enough have nicknamed me The Ace.
