Lex Sense: All flash... with no substance...
{Lex Sense is bench pressing a couple hundred pounds of weight. The sweat is dripping off his body as though he were standing in rain. It's obvious that he's been benching for quite some time. With each word spoken, heavy breathing is followed. He drops the bar and sits up, grabbing a rag to wipe the sweat. He points to a t.v. that has been thrown across the room. He obviously just watched something he disliked.}
Lex Sense: I was watching your promo and it inspired me to throw that set across the room. I was affected by your words but not in the way you might think. I believe you just described me to your kiddie loving father. When one stares in my direction they see everything they hate within themselves. I am a reflection of your worst nightmares. To say that my "gimmick" was made to give me character is ridiculous. I do not need character for the destruction that I leave in my wake characterizes me enough. Your promo Gardner, while filled with humor and wit, is lacking a certain quality. It's this lack of quality that will spell out your downfall. You may have faced similar copies but there is only one masterpiece. Lex Sense is an original and before me you have not faced anyone of worth. Did you seriously think you could get in my head with pop culture references and buffoonish jokes at my expense? You have managed to prove to me one vital thing... you are not ready to see the Future.
{Lex stands to his feet and wipes the sweat off of his mammoth body. He walks over to a window to glare at the sun setting in the distance. He takes the time to ponder the situation he is in and it brings a wide grin to his face.}
Lex Sense: Open up your mind and listen mate, this moment WILL define your career. Should you manage to somehow gain a victory over me and take my belt, you might have a chance to make it in this company. Most likely than not, this battle will end with my Prediction. I will toss your arse back from whence it came. Back to that gutter of a fed you run. That unholy place filled with std ridden whores you like to call home. I think it's time you made up your own mind to walk away to one of your many careers and stop wasting my concentrated efforts on defending my belt and making this one sided match grand.
{The door in the far side of the room swings open and in rushes Dr. Lyons with some X-Rays. She puts a hand on Lex's shoulder and proceeds to examine the x-rays with the remaining sunlight.}
Dr. Lyons: I am dumbfounded. Everything seems to be in order. You are perfectly healthy according to these charts.
Lex Sense: We all know that to be untrue. There is something wrong with my head. It has always been that way.
Dr. Lyons: Well, we have figured out that when you sleep the part of your brain that dreams tends to become stimulated. I think that it is the reason you black out. I think you are sleepwalking.
{Lex slaps the documents out of her hand. Lyons does not seem frightened by this sudden outburst. She instead begins to pick the papers up.}
Lex sense: NONSENSE! That does not help me out one bit.
Dr. Lyons: I am only a messenger but, if there is one thing I have come to figure out is that... nothing can help you Lex.
{Dr. Lyons walks away to fulfill her other duties leaving Sense alone with his thoughts. His thoughts are on Christian Gardner.}
Lex Sense: My whole life I have been given excuse after excuse to why this is or that happened. Answers are hard to come by in my line of work. What is easily given is criticism and judgment. I do not need to be told what I am. especially if even I don't know. I am but a man with violent tendencies and I have run out of excuses as to why my enemy's blood offers me peace. I am hungry Gardner and the only way for me to eat is to hunt down my prey. This week you are my prey. Your heartfelt struggle with a sexually abusive, homophobic father gives me the sustenance I need to feel alive. I feed off of that sh*te. Am I to feel sorry for you and your whore sister? How pathetic your tale is. In this world we all have daddy issues. only some of us take care of the problem instead of allowing it to live. Deep down inside, you know you feel as your father did. After all, it's genetics and the apple never falls far from the tree. Worry not because I will extinguish any of those negative thoughts you must have when I extinguish your flame. At Metamorphosis I will show you that there are worse things to face than a dirty, old, pervert.
{Lex seems to enjoy this more than he should as he puts on a torn shirt. He walks over to Dr. Lyons with intent in his eyes.}
Dr. Lyons: What is it?
Lex Sense: I have grown weary of these tests.
Dr. Lyons: Would you like to stop?
Lex Sense: They are no longer necessary. Time has come for me to accept what I am.
Dr. Lyon: Without them you will revert back.
Lex Sense: No matter. Soon I will have something new to focus on.
Dr. Lyons: As you wish, but I do have one more question. What is it you feel when you have awoken from a black out?
Lex Sense: All I could remember are feelings and smells. I feel disconnected from reality as though I am trapped in a mental prison. I can not control my actions, nor am I aware of them. The whole time I am trapped with the smell of urine and feces. The putrid stench of rotting flesh overwhelms my senses and leaves me disoriented. Yet with all of this disturbing behavior... I find peace within this ugly existence.
Dr. Lyons: I don't know what to make of that.
{She states as she leaves the room with a curious expression on her face. Sense just takes a seat in a love chair and continues to stare at the setting sun. The mixture of the light of day and the dark of night reflecting off of his pensive expression.}
{A few hours later Sense is still seated in that same position. One can only assume he has been thinking the night away. He calmly stares in the direction of the camera's lens as shadows dance on half of his face. He does not look happy as he speaks with a thick, cold, British accent.}
Lex Sense: I am but a man, living in a world that is as objectifying as heaven. You see me but you do not understand. You make your own mind up about me without truly understanding what I stand for. In this business, this is a common practice among my competitors. Christian, you think of me as some silly man in wacky make up but the truth of the matter is that I am much more. I will forever be more than you will be able to comprehend. I do not expect you to see me as I am for your lack of intelligence prohibits you from comprehending. I wear this make up as you wear your scars. They are badges of honor for us to show to the world what we have been through. Hell is not a comfortable place to dwell in but I have laid my head to rest in that place once or twice. Were you to step inside my mind you would find that there is no way out. Mindless is the perfect word to describe your judgmental attitude towards me. You assume too much with what little you know. In nCw I am far from the craziest and if you can't deal with the crazies of this place, you stand no chance in surviving here. Here, the normal, common guy rests his head at the bottom of the totem pole. The common guy acts as nothing more than a place setting. You support the weight of the true faces that rest at the top. The suitable resting spot for you to make your new home under my massive weight.
{Sense stands and heads to a mirror to stare at his own reflection. He smudges the make up on his face and the colors converge to form a charcoal like substance smudged all over his face.}
Lex Sense: This substance does not make me who I am. I am what I make myself to be. Am I crazy? You may think so but I do not. I choose to view the world without a filter. I choose to acknowledge the strange and the weird. More importantly, I choose to live my life without restrictions. You claim that I have no honor but you fail to realize that I am the most honorable man you will ever meet. That label imprinted on your forehead is as close as you will get to being called Honor champion boyo. You stepped through these doors boasting about who you knew within this company as if your associations meant a G*d damn thing. You wasted no time in name dropping whichever retard you thought would get a rise out of people, hoping that your associations would move you up in this company. I dislike your presence and nonchalant attitude towards our match. You have awoken something inside me and I will feed on your pain and suffering mate. You want to take the time to thank people then take the time to thank those that will help you from recovering from the wounds that I will place on your torso. I don't expect you to fear me but I will force you to respect your Honor champion.
{Lex headbutts the mirror and it shatters but does not break. A trickle of blood runs down his forehead as it reflects from multiple shards. Sense grabs the bridge of his nose and finishes off the mirror with his fist. Lady Die stares, enjoying the scene. She begins to sing.}
Lady Die: I could see... that your headaches... have been getting worse.
Lex Sense: What's it to you?
Lady Die: My friend... my dear Lex... we both know.... that soon... this will all be over.
Lex Sense: No. This is only the beginning.
{Lex stands and the looks in his eyes seem anew. There is no doubt. No question. Just pure, unadulterated reason for being. Pure certainty.}
Lex Sense: Gardner, why don't you stick to playing wrestling video games with women and leave the real wrestling to men. I have been given a purpose when I was given this belt and I shall not falter until my task is done. I will be the premiere Honor champion that this company has ever had. Once I am done my name will be synonymous with this belt and there is nothing you can do to stop it. You do not frighten me boyo. You are no threat to me. I don't expect you to lie down for me but I do expect to put you down. This is the quality you lack my friend. Without fear or threat I will not respect or honor my opponent. These are qualities you must earn before I send you back home, with your tail tucked between your legs, to lick your wounds.
{Sense grins a devilish grin and you could hear Lady Die laughing in the background as the scene fades to black.}
