Lex Sense: I need to take a bloody holiday.
{Sense stands in the locker room. Head down and shaking from side to side. A massive fist sized dent in every locker. One can only assume, Sense has been releasing his frustrations out on the poor defenseless lockers.}
Lex Sense: I stand before you a beaten man. A man who was unable to heed the call and eliminate two men who he truly despises. I have nothing but disdain for the likes of Rob and Steve and yet, I must sit here and suffer a loss to those blubbering idiots. Joe and I should have won that match but instead, we allowed those two primadonna bitches to grab a hold of the reigns and ride away with our victory. I am utterly disappointed at my inability to pick up a win against those two jesters and I stand before you doubting. Doubting my abilities within that ring. Doubting my goal in this business. More importantly, doubting myself entirely.
{Sense rips the locker door out completely from it's hinges and tosses it against the wall. A few jobbers look in his direction but quickly look away when Lex notices. He takes a moment, clutching his fist before calming down and smiling.}
Lex Sense: I am in desperate need of a holiday and this week, at Cross Roads, I get my wish. I get to take a Holliday and throw him out like yesterdays trash. Then again, you are yesterday's trash, now aren't you? You are nothing more than a bubble of failure, encasing big talk filled with hot air. Johnny, I have nothing against you, but you have the bad luck of being tossed my way after I lost two consecutive matches. I try to make it a habit to not lose consecutively, unlike you. You seem to relish in never picking up a win. You seem to enjoy just below average, even if your words say other wise. Now that your all talk, flash in the pan ass has broken up with the diva of nCw, Ander Carvetti, you have noone to win matches for you. You are left alone in a world where loneliness swallows you whole. A life that feeds off your talents until there is nothing left to feed upon. Your life's loneliness must be extremely fat, because you have become a talentless hack, mate.
{Sense puts on his duster coat and looks to be waiting for a response. He smiles as if predicting what Johnny will say.}
Lex Sense: We have all heard your story boyo. How you've toppled mountains and destroyed lives of men. How you would spit in the eye of GOD if he did not allow you to take what you want. You may think your talk makes you big but all I see is a whiny bitch who needs to be spanked. Yes, Johnny Holliday is nothing more than a tantrum throwing child who has become upset that he got clothes for Christmas instead of toys. You bitch and cry and whine your pretty little ass off and nobody is hearing what you are saying. Everyone is but laughing at the tears the self proclaimed "Great" Johnny Holliday sheds week in and week out.
{Sense's smile turns to a look of hate and remorse.}
Lex Sense: I am tired of losing. Two straight losses in a row is enough to give me the inspiration needed to not lose again. I expect you to put on a flashy show. You will walk to the ring with your flashy grin and stick out your flashy tounge but, I will wipe that smirk from your face and force you to eat every single bad insult you throw at me!
{Lex pulls the hood over his face but his wicked yellow smile is still clearly seen.}
Lex Sense: This week I take a holiday. To you that may mean that I am on vacation, but to me that means that I will take YOU, Johnny Holliday, and throw your pathetic excuse of a career back into that dumpster you crawled out of. You should have never came back mate. You should have stayed laid out on that hospital bed for the remainder of your miserable life because now, I am forced to show the world how much of a hack Holliday has become and I will enjoy every second. Walking into that ring and ripping your limbs from their sockets will be my relaxation. Putting your ass down for the count of three will be my rest. A win over you will be better than sex with a European hooker. A serene calm will wash over me as I wash the bad taste of these last two losses with your blood.
{Sense walks away but screams so the world could hear.}
Lex Sense: I WILL NOT BE BEATEN BY A DIAMOND AGAIN! THIS I SWEAR!
{The shot fades out. After a few seconds the sounds of a discussion is being heard. The frame slowly comes into plain view and Sense is standing over Mr. West who is showing him photos. In the room are Lady Die and Dr. Lyons who are randomly standing about, looking over documents.}
Mr. West: We found them.
Lex Sense: I was under the impression that the twins were back home in England.
Mr. West: It seems as though that information was wrong.
{Lex stares longingly into the photos of twin girls no older than six. Flashes of Lex without makeup playing with said little girls flashes before the screen. He grasps at the bridge of his nose, faltering.}
Mr. West: Are you alright?
Lex Sense: Just dreaming of a life that once was.
Lady Die: I'm sure you are. It seems that these... "little girls" are being raised by a man claiming them as his own.
Mr. West: She is quite right.
Lady Die: I guess it doesn't matter since you claim that you no longer care. Then again, you might?
Lex Sense: What does it matter to you girl?
Lady Die: Just wondering if you are still... you?
{Sense stares with the fire of hatred. He shakes off the emotion and simply smiles at the thought.}
Lex Sense: That man can have them. I never wanted them to begin with. Does that make me a bad father?
Lady Die: I think the term is deadbeat.
Lex Sense: Dead is quite right.
{Guardian steps into the small room, smoking his cigar.}
Guardian: What should we do?
Lex Sense: What we always do. Stop by and say hello. Face to face.
Mr. West: I would advise against this. This may not be the proper approach.
Dr. Lyons: On the contrary, this may give Lex the chance to close this chapter of his life. Closure is always good.
Mr. West: Closure for Mr. Sense usually involves broken bodies.
Lex Sense: We are going! I promise that the only thing broken will be hearts. Now everyone leave me be and prepare for the trip!
{They all leave the room, leaving Sense alone to stare at pictures of his ex wife and children. A single tear falls from his eyes.}
Lex Sense: Am I monster? Am I a man? Am I alive? People like Johnny love to parade their accomplishments around as if we should respect them for the things they have... accomplished. What men like him refuse to acknowledge is that their life before nCw matters very little. Who you were is not who you are now. Right now, what do any of us have to offer? I bleed, sweat and break my body for this business because inside that ring I feel more alive than out of it. A single win inside the squared circle allows my hunger to be satisfied. It allows the thirst to end and the drive to start. We all strive to be better at what we do and we all hope to be the best at it. Yet, we all lose our way when things such as pride and glory get involved. What do you have to be proud of? Better yet... what am I proud of?
{Lex crumples the photos in his hand and tosses them to the ground.}
Lex Sense: I am no monster, but as a man, I died a long time ago. All that remains is this shell. All that remains is this form. This goal. This dream. This desire. This burning. Why do you do the things you do Holliday? Just to see your name on the marquee. To see your name plastered all over television. To shine like the lights in the arena do when the show begins. To have your name remembered by the relentless masses. None of that matters to me. I just want to take the best of this company and bring them to their knees so they feel what I have felt my ENTIRE LIFE! This crazy inside has caused so much pain and heartache and no matter if you are monster, woman, child or man, I wish to take you to that dark place inside that makes US ALL... feel guilty for enjoying the pleasures that is sin. I have been understanding of everyone's uniqueness and have put up with losers like you claiming to be better for too long. I have allowed inferior men to take me down for far too long. Now I will bring this world and everything it stands for to it's KNEES!! Starting with you, Johnny boy.
{Sense is intensity at this moment. His look will burn the hairs off your back. It is not a fearful reaction you feel, but one of certainty.}
Lex Sense: I await your rebuttal. In fact I look forward to it. I want you to throw at me the same old tired one liners that everyone does. I wish you to call me a poor mans Maniac or a gump version of Harold, but understand this. My footprint will remain in that ring for far longer than any of you will fight within it. Believe or not, I don't give a flying f*ck! I will remain long after men like Harold remove their masks. I will be here when Maniac outgrows his little psychotic phase. My legacy will exist after yours has ended. More importantly, I will withstand the test of time while you get swallowed by it. I will overcome and persevere to become immortal and I will take every pansy assed motherf*cker, who thinks they are GOD's gift to wrestling, and force them on their KNEES to suck my British dick! Open wide Johnny, because you will be the first to blow me! That is what I call... taking a Holliday.
{Sense intensely smiles, almost shaking violently with the curve of his lips.}
Lex Sense: First things first, it is time for a little family reunion.
{Evil grin, fade out.}
{Sense stands in the locker room. Head down and shaking from side to side. A massive fist sized dent in every locker. One can only assume, Sense has been releasing his frustrations out on the poor defenseless lockers.}
