You stormed off to scar the armada
Like Jesus played martyr
I'll drill through your hands
The stone for the curse you have blamed me
With love and devotion, I'll die as you sleep
Like Jesus played martyr
I'll drill through your hands
The stone for the curse you have blamed me
With love and devotion, I'll die as you sleep
The scene slowly opens up on a stormy night in Raleigh, North Carolina. Rain falls and lightening shoots across the clouds in the sky all around. As the camera moves down towards an abandoned park, Joe Everyman can be seen sitting on a bench underneath a covering. Joe's black trench coat is soaked from the rain outside. He is hunched over, looking down at the rain drops falling outside of the shelter.
Joe Everyman: Blackness all around, as the lightning cracks the sky. This is what I have become accustomed to. This is what I see every night when I go to bed, and every day when I wake up. It is all that remains. I thought that when everything was fixed, and Maria was back... it would all come back to the way it was. But instead, it has only gotten worse. And the funny thing is... the f*cked up thing in all of this, is not because of this job that I have. It has nothing to do with me losing or beating someone or anything like that. It's because of Simon Daye's anger issues, and Ashlie Ember's jealousy. It is nothing more than that, it never was. Yes, many things happened in the past that caused some of this, but it's just that... the past. But now, things in the present, are ruining it even more.
Simon, are you really doing all of this because of a mistake? So what, I was talking to some guys backstage and forgot your name... once. And yet, you're trying to end my career because of that? Are you truly that much of an egotistical nut job, or did Ashlie suck your dick enough to make it so you'd do whatever she wanted? I mean, come on man... you know, deep down, this isn't about us. This is about Maria and Ashlie. But the thing is, I am coming to Maria aid because I love her. You're just coming to Ashlie's aid because of a bullsh*t reason.
But, no matter what your reason, true or not, may be... believe me, this nightmare is coming for you. What you did to me on Trauma was completely uncalled for, and trust me, you will pay for everything you did to me. But Simon... what you did to Maria... you just signed your death sentence. This was personal before... but now... words can't describe how much I want to end your miserable little existence. Nobody... and I mean, nobody, lays a hand on my wife. You and Ashlie... you two just took it too far. Trust me when I say this, Simon... you will be dead.
I am not just saying that to get into your head... I am not saying it as a threat. I am saying it because that is what I am going to do. Simon, nobody gives a flying f*ck about you at all. People idolize me. So, why would people care if I wipe your sh*t stained life out of existence? Because, trust me Simon... I fully intend to do just that. I will make you burn for what you did. You will be in the nightmare for the rest of your miserable life.
Joe smirks towards the camera and stands up. He looks towards the camera for a second before walking out into the shadowed rain falling outside of the covering. As he walks away, the scene fades to black but restores itself a few days before inside of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia. Maria Williams is laying in a hospital bed. She has a bandage wrapped around her forehead. She seems to be resting comfortably, but her eyes are open. After a few moments, Joe walk in the door with a few small bandages holding together his cuts from Trauma.
Joe Everyman: Hey Maria... how are you feeling?
When Maria sees Joe, she sits up and gets a small smile on her face.
Maria Williams: Oh... I'm not sure. Better than I was on Saturday, that's for sure!
She lets out a small laugh, but it fades away as soon as it came. Joe walks over to the bed but doesn't say a word. He just looks at Maria. He puts his hand on the bed, and Maria quickly put her hand on his.
Joe Everyman: I'm so sorry...
Maria Williams: Joe, it's ok.
Joe Everyman: No it's not... I couldn't do anything. I just had to sit there and watch them hurt you...
Maria Williams: Trust me, Joe... I'll be fine. I mean, I'll be more than ok for Crossroads.
Joe Everyman: What do you mean?
Maria Williams: Leonard called a little while ago... you and I are taking on Simon and Ashlie on Sunday.
Joe's eyes get a little large, the fire easily seen in them.
Joe Everyman: They're dead!
Maria smiles at what Joe said, clearly feeling the same thing.
Joe Everyman: Well look, if we're going to have a match together, you're going to need your rest so you'll be in top shape this weekend. I'll go out and get some real lunch and you can rest while I'm gone. How's that sound?
Maria Williams: That sounds great... anything beats hospital food.
Joe Everyman: Ok, good. And Maria... I promise, I'll never let that happen again.
Maria Williams: I know... I love you Joe.
Joe Everyman: I love you too, Maria.
Joe then turns around and starts to walk out of the room.
Maria Williams: Joe?
Joe then quickly turns around and looks at Maria.
Joe Everyman: What is it?
Maria Williams: We have to end them.
Joe gets an almost evil smirk on his face.
Joe Everyman: Trust me... they won't walk out of Crossroads. We will show them the end.
Joe then turns around and walks out of the room. The camera slowly turns to Maria who gets comfortable again as the scene slowly fades to black.
But if you could just write me out
To neverless wonder, happy will I become
Be true that this is no option,
So with sin I condemn you
Demon pray, Demon out.
To neverless wonder, happy will I become
Be true that this is no option,
So with sin I condemn you
Demon pray, Demon out.
