OPENING
Another week of exciting NCW action and another week of EMF over the top cutesy antics, and another week of Coliseum qualifiers. Welcome all you loyal followers of my weekly column and I hope you really enjoyed the shows this week, because honestly, there was a lot there to enjoy from top to bottom. Upsets, surprises, title belts, and the Coliseum is totally taking shape with only two spots left.
Things are really starting to pick up around here and I’ve been enjoying every moment of it, as I hope you are as well. The action is only going to amp up from this point as we crown the final two entrants into the Coliseum match on this show, and in the same breath crowning a number one contender to Falcon’s world title in the match between Alex Jones and Rob Diamond.
Of course the biggest news of the week again features EMF who just can’t stop trying to draw every bit of attention they can to themselves, this time doing so be declaring themselves the first ever “Startlets” Tag Team Champions... It’s like they are incapable of not being spot light stealing jerk weasels.
Now to the polls, you fans did a great job of picking this week, Steve Awesome and Trent Helms are indeed going to get shots to be in the Coliseum along with Rob Diamond and Alex Jones who were both towards the top of the poll too. The most glaring omission was Lex Sense, I know. He deserves a shot at that Coliseum, it’s just that he’s kind of busy being a big stinky loser throwing people’s husbands threw car windows, along with Ugly Joe Everyman.
Speaking of Joe Everyman, he'll b the center of our poll this week, pick an option, who is more likely to win the world title?
RECAP AND REVIEW
First off there was a ton of action going down on both shows. Trauma kicked off another week of Coliseum qualifying with possibly the biggest upset of the weekend when we saw Mark Evil... that’s right.. THAT Mark Evil, making it into the biggest match in NCW and has a chance at the World Title. Amazing, I don’t think anybody saw that coming, congratulations Mark, I hope you didn’t end up over your head.
Other than that on Trauma we got to see what was possibly the match of the week with Todd Williams takign on Roberto Verona. Both young stars wanted this win and it could tell, they gave this match everything they had, turned some heads and really pushed each other to the limit. It was a shame that either man had to lose in that match, but congratulations to Todd Williams anyway.
Now, lets get to all the extra curricular activities that happened on the show... first, yes I know EMF are ditzy jerks, but there was no sense(boo) in Lex Sense putting his hands on Zelda... he’s two feet taller and weighs three times as much as she does! I’m glad my husband took up for her, then those EverySense tards decide to get their revenge... congratulations boys... you just picked a fight with the most dangerous wrestler in NCW. Joe Everyman couldn’t beat Simon Daye... but now he sees Adam in his sights? Please.
Trent Helms and Steve Awesome... just aren’t going to be happy until one or the other is in a body bag, mark my words. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen Trent like this... he’s obsessed with ridding this place of Steve, and he gets a chance to rip the Coliseum away from Awesome’s hands at the same time... it’ snot going to be a pretty match.
Anyway, The match were outstanding as well, good job Ander, you’re in the Coliseum match with a win over one of NCW’s most famous star, impressive victory to say the least. The 8 Person tag match was as great as advertised, with another “Heart Breaker” from EMF to Roxxxie center stage... and a cute moment of Steve saving Crystal Hilton from Johnny Holliday. Then a huge victory for Venom as the National Champion picked up a big time victory in a three way match that featured the World Champion and Paul Star, the first Coliseum qualifier, possibly Venom’s biggest victory in NCW to date.
Overall, the shows this week were just flat out awesome, I don’t know what else to say about it. Everybody did a great job, put a lot of effort into this show and I have to give it an A+.
HIGH POINTS
:: Female Tag Belts - It’s always good to see NCW investing into it’s Women’s division, to my father’s credit, he said he wasn’t going to put that division on the back burner when he made it and he hasn’t... lets hope he makes these belts official.
:: Andrew Jacobsen - Huge victory for this young kid who desperately needed it. This could be the win that propels him to the next level, pinning a former World champion and Hall of Fame wrestler, that’s a freaking fantastic job well done for the “Love Machine”.
LOW POINTS
:: Adam going through the car window - It was complete crap, Adam simply stood up for his sister against a seven foot tall masked monster... I don’t care what EMF said to him before hand, it didn’t deserve that reaction.
:: Hexx - What in the world was he thinking getting involved inside that main event Coliseum Qualifying match?! That stupid idiot, why does he keep trying to pretend that he’s important around here?! Gah, can we fire him already? Make him disappear?
THE FAB FIVE
5. EMF :: That’s two weeks that they’ve come out and just stole the show, I normally don’t condone this type of behaviour but whatever they can do to get the Women’s division to be a focal point of this company is a good thing.
4. ANDER CARVETTI :: Great Job midget man on getting into the Coliseum match. It was a great victory over a Hall of Famer and former World Champion that propelled him into the match. Should be interesting to see Ander in this match.
3. ANDREW JACOBSEN :: I pointed it out above, it was a victory, one on one... against Adam Knite. There is nothing left to say about it.
2. MARK EVIL :: Nobody saw Mark Evil inside this Coliseum match leading up to the event, nobody thought he would be fighting for a chance to win the NCW World title, but he earned it and he’s going to be there. He might be in over his head... but hell.. it’s going to be a great experiance for him.
1. VENOM :: He was put into a three way match against the World Champion and the first person to qualify for the Coliseum match, he’s the National champion but that doesn’t mean anything in a match like that, he picked up the biggest win of the week.
PREVIEW AND PREDICTIONS
LAST WEEK'S RECORD:: 5-7 :: Really? Ouch... that is by far the worst job I've done at predicting since we started the new year, I guess I was due one bad night of predicting.
OVERALL RECORD:: 87-33 :: Still way ahead, so I'm not too worried about it, but I have to do a much better job at predicting from here on out, ouch, this week was rough.

WHAT TO KEEP AN EYE ON
:: EVERYSENSE :: It's EverySense taking on DDK and Joe Everyman's brother, this match is going to be interested. EverySense and Knitely Bangs have their hands wrapped around each other's throats and this match gives ES a chance at DDK, but DDK brings Mark Evil along for help. Should be very interesting.
:: SPYKE AND BRAD KANE :: It's the ridiculous twins the Kane brothers teaming up to take on the ridiculous foreign stereotypes, this match will be good just because of all the ridiculousness that will be involved. Should be very entertaining to say the least... also it should be neat to see how Brad and Spyke react to being in the ring together and on the same team.
:: TRENT HELMS vs. STEVE AWESOME :: Well this should be obvious, it's two former World champions who have their chance to get into the Coliseum match and to hopefully get a shot at the world champion. These two men have fought for the world title before, but now they fight for a chance, and their history against each other as of late has been crazy.
:: ALEX JONES vs. ROB DIAMOND :: Well it's coming down to this, Zelda screwed Alex out of the world title, doing so to put Rob into the World title picture and now the winner will straight up get their shoat at Falcon one on one while the loser has to traverse five other men for either a rematch or their shot at Falcon.
KNITELINE
"Spike Kane" somewhere pretentious and egotistical.
"Hey Kelly, do you know why in the hell they gave Spyke a Coliseum qualification match? I mean, he's just some n00b who has some beef with me for some reason. After his actions on Collision attacking me and my brother Brad he should be fired!"
:: You're not Spike Kane! For the love of God, give it a rest already!
Jeremy, Iowa
Kelly after Todd William's victory on Trauma do you think he has firmly cemented himself as a real threat for Rob Diamond's title? He has built up an impressive run of wins lately. Also, what next for the loser, Roberto Verona?
:: I think with how Todd has rededicated himself to this over the past few weeks, the sky is the limit for him, he's come a long way and he'll give Rob a run for his money.
The Scotsman
So far, we have Paul Star, Ander Carvetti, Mark Evil and Xander in the Colisseum Match, now the question I have to ask, so far out of the four men, Paul Star is the only person who has been in this match before, do you think, that will give him a advantage, even as former World Champions are about to be added to the match in either Trent or Steve Awesome.
Also, if Trent made it in, Do you think, He will ultimately kill himself in this match type.
:: I think it'll give him a slight advantage, but not much of one, in the end it's still five other men you have to go through to get one pinfall... anything can happen, you can't count on past experience here. Trent would end up botching something and breaking something... what, I don't know.
Chaos; Cambridge, England
My old mate Paul Star was in a match against Falcon and Venom last weekend. I think he did great even though he eventually got pinned, but do you think he's shown he can hang with the top dogs in NCW, or do you think he's being pushed before he's ready?
:: Paul Star has been one of the best young wrestlers in NCW over the past few weeks. He's had some tough losses against some great competitors, that's all.
Crystal Hilton, EMF Productions Hollywood, California
Is it wrong to be attracted to Steve Awesome's beautiful abs?
And btw did you get your EMF Autographed t shirt and start the fan club yet?
:: Those abs are beautiful.... sorry... my mind wandered there. It's not wrong, but what out for the herpes. Yes I got the shirt.... no I'm not starting a fan club for two immature air heads.
Vince Russo; Planet Russo
My question for you is Kelly... how the hell did Mark Evil get into the Coliseum match?! I mean, I wouldn't have even thought of that!
:: Hey, make no mistake about it, Mark Evil won his way into that match, he did a great job and now gets his shot. If he can go all the way, that's a different matter.
Michael Cole, Syracuse, New York.
Hi there Kelly! I am a long time fan and first time caller and I have a pair of questions for you, if you don't mind.
First off, correct me if I am wrong, but is there not an nCw rule that stipulates that under no circumstances is there to be a dual champion? In other words, since Rob Diamond is technically a champion already, should he not even be considered for a number 1 contendership to the belt?
:: There is no rule that says "you can't hold two titles." It's just been a policy to not let anybody attempt it unless they've earned it. A few people have had opportunities to try before, but they've lost their belt in their mandatory pre World title match title defense. Spike Kane and Joe Everyman I believe have been two fo the closest to do so.
Secondly, I hope Adam is o.k. I saw how EverySense ravaged him and I hope he is fine. How are you holding up?
:: Adam is fine... You know how many hardcore matches he's had in his career... going through one safety glass window isn't going to kill him.
CLOSING THOUGHTS
:: “EMF Ugly Stamp”.... -shakes head- Those two....
:: Speaking of that... takes a “big guy” to threaten a 100 pound girl.
:: Jacobsen gets a shot at the National title a week after beating Adam... he better come through or it'll be all for nothing.
:: Going to be very interesting to see how or if, Ander and Paul Star can coexist in this match. These two are building a nice rivalry.
:: Hey Dexter Davis makes his debut this week. You might now him as Freya "BET" Kane's husband. Willy Carter says he's a jerk.
Well fans that's all I have for this week.... Until next time...
