WIRED Singles match Damien Collins vs. Bukkake ManI'm not familiar with Damien Collins, but Bukkake Man doesn't lose. Or at least that's what people tell me. Women's Battle Royal Mercedes Lewis vs. Mercedes Vargas vs. Nexus vs. Kathleen Conway vs Alysson Gardner vs. Stephanie Sullivan I'm familiar with two of these people, so it's a shot in the dark. Paul's going to be wrapped up in the Coliseum, so I'm counting Nexus out of this one. There are two Mercedesesesessss(SP?), so I automatically count out the first one I see. Ace once pushed me down a flight of stairs, so I still harbor a grudge about that. Thus Kathleen is out. It comes down to Vargas, Gardner, and Sullivan. Three very talented female wrestlers who could beat any male wrestler on the roster, including that dude Zelda I keep hearing about. I'm going with Vargas based on the fact that I assume she's latino, and I love Taco Bell. HONOR TITLE #1 CONTENDER Three Way Match Demetrious Young vs. Ricky Johnson vs. Scorpion I say it every month, but I still don't know who Young is, but I vote for him under the thinking that he's black and I support the NAACP. SOVEREIGN Xtreme Match “Spike Kane” Rights On the Line Hexx vs. SpykeI <3 Spykes. Tag Team Match Venom and Freakke vs. Xavier Cross and Andrew Jacobsen This is the toughest decision for me. I want to vote for Venom and Freakke based on the fact that Venom says I hate him and never vote for him. If I do that, I turn my back on Cross and Jacobsen, who are my real life best friend and the guy from the site I talk to the most. Herein lies the problem though. Every time I vote against Cross, he wins. Every time I vote for him, he loses. So if I vote for Venom based on his greatness and the desire to prove him wrong, it will actually cause him to lose. It's like Sophie's Choice. I'm going with Freakke and Venom to break the streak. Grudge Match Todd Williams vs. Roberto Verona I love generic last names, and Williams is one of the best. If Roberto's last name was Smith or Johnson, this might be a closer decision for me. In all seriousness I think this one is going to be a great match-up. NCW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP Singles Match Rob Diamond vs. Falcon*Falcon beat Diamond in a violent feud a few months back and he's only gotten better since. He's not dropping the belt yet. I feel pretty good about this one. MAIN EVENT THE COLISEUM Steve Awesome vs. Paul Star vs. Ander Carvetti vs. Xander Famularo vs. Mark Evil vs. Alex Jones *Note: Coliseum is worth 5 points for the correct guess. Whoever wins this match has to be a big star. A shining light for all the other wrestlers to fall under and look up to for excellence and guidance. They'll follow in the footsteps of legends like Dave Holland, Adam Knite,......and that other guy that won last year. This is a tougher call that the ones Steve had to make when he found out he was rocking the herps. I take out Evil first. He's an Everyman and they're destined to a life of disappointment. Paul Star still hasn't recovered from getting pinned in last year's Coliseum, so he's out. Xander doesn't have the heart, the Will, or the unbreakable neck necessary to win this match, so he's outski. That leaves me with 3. Awesome, Carvetti, and Jones. Carvetti reminds me the most of myself going into last year. He can use this opportunity to burst through and make a name for yourself. Steve and AJ Classic have been there before. They've main evented, they've wrestled for the title, and they've had sex with men. (That last part is not verified) I've gotta get rid of somebody at this point, so I'm taking out Classic. So it comes down to Carvetti and Awesome. The new blood vs. the old guard. Who do I choose? I'm going with the star power and prowess of Awesome to win over the hunger of Carvetti. The man is a legend and it's one thing he hasn't done yet. -Note to whoever wins: You better hope Ed doesn't want a title shot at A Night to Remember too.  I love you Ed. |
