Yup, I can't remember if they are directly linked though since it was Toriyama's wife who came up with the Kamehameha name for the attack when he was trying to come up with something. I think she might have known about the Hawaiian king though, can't really remember.

28 and when it was first airing in japan we were getting monthly tapes from my buddy's sister, it got old fast and we got into better stuff like Giant Robo, Gundam (0079 0083 etc not that wing ****) Lupin the 3rd and other stuff.

Heh, me and some uni mates have been watching youtube clips of the old MMPR series recently, I recorded the dagger's call for Dragonzord and use it as my message alert, it rocks.
