1st week show:
Fallout from Bound For Glory
1: Kurt Angle/Jeff Jarrett/Abyss/Hogan/Bischoff Promo:
"Immortal" celebrates their victory and swerve at BFG. Kurt Angle cuts a promo saying something resembling the following:
[ Kurt: For the past few months, I set out to prove I was the best in the world. The TNA top ten rankings had me very high, and I rejected it. I wanted to do it the old fashioned way. Hell my CAREER was on the line in every match I wrestled. And do know what happened? NONE OF YOU CARED!
(Boos)
Kurt: You people let me down. You were more interested in following nobodies like Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam. But just when I was about to give up hope, two people showed me they cared: Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff.
(Boos)
Kurt: They showed me they cared. They believed in me. So, who in the hell are any of you to judge me for what I did?
(Boos)
Kurt: My career could have ended any time I stepped in this ring, and you didn't care. And now, I won TNA world heavyweight title, now that my career can continue, you all of a sudden have the GAUL to boo me? I am a winner. I won a gold medal for this country I am a HERO! and what's more I am THE TNA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! ]
This brings out Jeff Hardy to plead his case for getting a shot at Kurt Angle. He mentions that in their past two matches, both at Slammiversary and on Impact, that Kurt did not beat him, and he wouldn’t have at BFG if Angle hadn’t gotten help from Hogan and Bischoff.
Angle counters by saying that while he didn’t beat Jeff, Jeff couldn’t have beaten him, and he proved it last night. And, he wasn’t even trying in those one on one matches (heels can says stuff like that)
This brings out Anderson, who’s argument is that he was the only one of the three to actually earn a place in the finals of the world title tournament. Kurt and Jeff got put into the match because they can’t beat each other.
Angle reminds Anderson that he beat him in a cage match, and just about every time they ever fought. Angle says that Anderson is just hoping he’ll get lucky, and if he couldn’t get the job done without a title on the line, what chance does he have now that Kurt is the world champion?
This bring out RVD. RVD argument is he never lost the world title, and conveniently Abyss took him out so that Kurt could win the title, it all adds up. RVD says that Kurt can’t beat him, so he hired Abyss and Hogan to take him out. So if anybody gets a world title shot, it should be RVD.
Hogan says that he’s in charge, and none of them are getting a world title match. He’ll decide who gets what around here, and that no one should be making demands.
This brings out Mick Foley. Foley says he couldn’t help overhearing there’s a dilemma and he’s happy to help. Bischoff tells Foley to get lost, since he has no power. Foley then reveals that Dixie Carters last act before signing that document she thought was Abyss’s termination paper, was to sign Mick to a fat contract, and make him the new Director of Authority (Henceforth referred to as DOA). His powers include matchmaking which cannot be overruled, even by Hogan. He orders a Three way match between RVD, Mr. Anderson and Jeff Hardy to decide the new number one contender at the Turning Point, And just so Kurt prepares properly, Foley makes Kurt the special referee in this match, and declares there must be a winner or Kurt Angle will be stripped on the TNA world heavyweight title.
Summary: In the first segment, We’ve established a pretty decent main event, debuted Foley as the DOA, given some shine to the World title, and have begun the booking for Turning Point’s main event.
2: Match #1 Generation Me defeats Ink Inc.
Summary: These guys get some time to shine, say about 15 minutes. GenMe wins to put them in line for a title shot down the road.
3: Ric Flair/Fortune Promo
The idea for Flair’s promo is to obviously, put over Fortune as the best wrestlers in TNA. The best overall wrestler (AJ) the best X-division wrestler (Kaz) The best big man (Matt Morgan) and the best tag team (Beer Money) AJ at this point in TV champion so Flair says that he’s so good, he will defend against Douglas Williams next Impact.
Summary: What we’re building towards is The value of championships. AJ’s needs the most work, but we’re legitimizing it, and we’ve booked a Main Event for next show
4: Match #2: Matt Morgan defeats Brian Kendrick
Summary: Squash match. Simply to build Matt as a monster heel without moving too fast.
5: Match #3: Angelina Love defeats Tara
Summary: We keep this one about 10 minutes and the focus is Angelina wants her rematch with Madison for the Knockouts title.
6: Jay Lethal/Mick Foley promo
Jay puts over the X-Division, as the matches and stars that put TNA on the map, and that the X-Division is the backbone of TNA. Foley agrees, but says he wants to see what the X-division stats can really do. He tells Lethal to think about it and get back to him.
Summary: We’re moving, as I said, towards legitimizing all the titles. So we’re creating a sort of pride each carrier holds towards their respective title. Also, another reason to watch next week.
7: Match #4 Mr. Anderson defeats RVD/Jeff Hardy
Intense match-up with a twist of who Angle would prefer to wrestle at Turning Point. Match is almost ruined when Abyss hits the ring, which but if Angle called for a DQ, he would be stripped, so he lets it go. Abyss and RVD battle off into the crowd, and Angle slow counts both Anderson and Hardy, until Hardy shoves him for it. Anderson rolls up Hardy and Angle fast counts him giving Anderson the win.
Summary: This is planting in the viewers mind that Angle doesn’t want to face RVD, since Abyss only attacks RVD. But we’ve established Anderson as the first opponent for Angle.
Overall Summary:
What I’ve tried to do is begin about 4 storylines at once, RVD/Abyss, Anderson/Angle, the importance of titles and brining back the X-division. Of those four we’ve made three points of interests for the next show.
Week 2:
Official Contract signing/ AJ vs. Williams
1: RVD promo
RVD makes it short and sweet. He knows Angle sent Abyss out last week, and he’s going to get to Angle, but wants Abyss, right now.
Eric Bischoff out. Bischoff says that RVD can’t make threats, since he lost last week. Abyss isn’t even in
the building anyway.
Mick Foley out. Foley says RVD will face Abyss at Turning Point.
Summary: Just making it official.
2: Match #1 Hernandez defeats Rob Terry
Summary: Just an intense 8-10 minute power match putting Hernandez over, but giving Terry much of the shine, overpowering SuperMex.
3: Jarrett promo:
Jeff comes out and calls out Mick Foley. He says Foley is trying to ruin TNA, and he’s drunk with power.
Jeff Hardy out instead. Hardy challenges Jarrett.
Mick Foley out. Foley makes Hardy vs. Jarrett tonight.
Summary: This was originally a Hardy promo, but Jeff isn’t good at it, so we have Jarrett fill in, and move forward.
4: Match #2 Madison Rayne defeats Velvet Sky
Summary: Furthering out story of Angelina wanting the title back, Velvet doesn’t quite get it done, Angelina saves Velvet from Tara/Madison 2 on 1. Probably best at about 5 minutes.
5: Match #3 Jeff Hardy vs. Jeff Jarrett
Jarrett feigns injury, but has found a suitable replacement: Abyss. Abyss gets DQ’d when Jarrett Interferes. RVD makes the save.
Mick Foley out. books RVD/Hardy vs. Abyss/Jarrett No DQ.
6: Match #4 Jeff Hardy/RVD defeat Jeff Jarrett and Abyss
Wild brawl 10-15 minutes. Goes all over the arena, in the end Hardy pins Jarrett after Swanton.
Summary: Keeping the fans happy, without giving them everything. A taste so to speak. We further the RVD/Abyss story, and Give a quick boost to Hardy/Jarrett
7: Jay Lethal promo
Lethal tries to do a Foley asked, and makes an open challenge for his X-division title. Foley says he found a suitable opponent, a former X Division champion and he’ll face him next week.
Summary: Another point of interest for next week to keep people watching.
8: Anderson/Angle contract signing.
Foley presides over it. Both Angle and Anderson will be in action next week, as a tune-up before their match.
Summary: Had to shoehorn them on the show.
9: Match #5 AJ Styles defeats Douglas Williams
Give ‘em 20 minutes, watch them do their magic. Williams throws the book at AJ and comes up just short as AJ wins with the Styles Clash
Summary: AJ gets the TV title over.
Overall Summary: Plugging right along to Turning Point. So far, we’ve got Kurt Angle vs. Mr. Anderson, RVD vs. Abyss, and so feuds bubbling.
TV Week 3
Lethal vs. Angle/Anderson tune-up
1: Fortune promo
Flair gloats over AJ’s win last week. Flair says that AJ can beat anyone in the world and the Television title is going to be more prestigious than the world title when AJ is done with it. Flair puts over Beer Money as the next tag champions, and says they will beat GenMe tonight to prove it.
Samoa Joe out.
Joe challenges AJ for Turning point, Flair says he has to beat Kaz tonight.
Summary: Joe vs. AJ is always good, and the title is gaining importance, a name like Joe only adds to it.
2: Match #1 Kurt Angle in action vs. Amazing Red
Angle toys with Red and it almost costs him the match, Angle win with the Ankle lock Anderson makes the save.
Summary: Classic story told by Angle and Red. Anderson keeps the heat going.
3:Jeff Hardy Promo:
Hardy hypes the match as best he can, before he is hit by a guitar.
Summary: Keep this short, due to Hardy’s limiting mic skills. Jarrett can always get heat with a guitar.
4: Match #2: Beer Money defeats GenMe
Beer money over with much cheating. MCMG’s are on commentary for this match, they brawl afterwards.
Summary: Setting up Beer Money vs. MCMG for a classic tag team match.
5: Match #3: Mr. Anderson over Rob Terry
Terry dominated most of the match, but Anderson pulls through.
Summary: Making the Anderson character strong, while keeping Terry strong as well.
6: Match # 4: Samoa Joe over Kaz
Joe squashes Kaz, bringing back memories of the old Joe.
Summary: Joe appears as more of a threat to AJ’s title now.
8 Madison Rayne/Angelina Love brawl.
They fight in the back. Nothing special here.
Summary: Feel like I’m shoehorning them in, but it helps keep the fued going.
9: Main Event: Jay Lethal over Christopher Daniels.
30 minute war that they both can pull off. This match is heavily hyped by the announcers, and Daniels return is good for a surprise.
Summary: Putting over the X-Division in the main event.
Overall Summary: Three weeks, we different big time matches from the X, TV, and world title divisions. One more week until Turning point.
Week 4:
Go-Home to PPV
Main event booked for tonight is a 6 man with Angle/Abyss/Jarrett vs. Hardy/RVD/Anderson

Summary: Beer Money gains a momentum advantage going into Turning Point.
2: Match #2: No.1 Contender's to X-Division title
Match features Kaz, Amazing Red, Eric Young, Brian Kendrick, Desmond Wolfe, and the return of Homicide. 'Cide wins.
Summary: Another return, and a classic X-Division match to build to Turning Point. Homicide is another surprise to keep the show fresh.
