OPENING
The past week of NCW action has come and gone with some big time news and revelations. The Young Guns appear to be growing stronger, Infamous is agreeing to be enemies for a month, EMF looks like they are on rocky ground with Crystal pleading for Zelda to focus on wrestling and somebody is a mother****ing piece of **** for touching my child on live television. More to come after this....
Ok, this is a column so there is no commercial break, but I am transitioning over either way and get this column rolling for all my adoring fans. So NCW had another exciting week and it looks like things will not be slowing down after a fantastic pay per view and instead are just picking up even hotter. This looks like it's going to be an exciting month of NCW action if things like this keep picking up, we're going to see a lot of intense feuds for the upcoming weeks, and if I were sitting in your position I'd be very excited for what is coming up.
This week's poll was over of course what you thought the biggest even was at A Night to Remember and in a pretty good land slide it was Steve Awesome defeating Trent Helms for the number one contendership that pulled out the victory. A great choice as it was a monumental moment in NCW history because those two have such a storied past. I have to commend you on another week of making a great choice.
This week I've got an interesting question for you, as you can see from our website there has been a nice influx of Starlet tag teams in response to the EMF belts being made in official NCW titles and their defense this past Sunday, which one of these teams do you think will be the first to rip the gold from EMF's hands, or do you think it's some unknown team who hasn't even debuted yet or just none of the above?
RECAP AND REVIEW
This week had some really good action, We got to see the fall out from the pay per view really hit as Steve Awesome and Rob Diamond have revoked their friendship for this month and immediately started their feud for the title with a duel kick to the goods. Should be very interesting going forward with this, seeing if they indeed can recover from something like this, they say that it'll just be water off a duck's back once their match for the world title is over, but I have a hard time believing that. Then we of course have the mysterious stalker who I will ****ing gut like a fish if he ever touches my daughter again with a disgusting display. It was one of those moments that I wished somebody would have pulled a Davey Boone and capped him in the head.
Now as far as the action went, we have some big news in that Ricky Johnson may have finally snapped... after a great victory for the highly honored wrestler he beat his opponant unmercifully without any regard to what anybody thought in a horrific display from one of the most well respected people backstage. We had EMF pulling out another victory which in itself is nothing new but Zelda was wrestling in street clothes having forgotten her wrestling gear at the hotel... you can see the level of concern in Crystal's eyes, hell in everybody's eyes... this is Zelda Knite, but at the same time it isn't.. her head is not where it needs to be right now, which makes her continued winning just shocking to me.
You all know how much I love seeing upsets and despite Falcon being a two time world champion, we got a see a nice one this week. I don't think there were many who though Falcon and Daye would make a good team right away, especially not after beating the hell out of each other at ANTR, but they came out and got a win over EverySense, one of the top tag teams in this company. Speaking of successful debuts for tag teams, it was great to see Ethereal Rave pick up their first win... wait not it wasn't... I hate Mercedes Lewis and she sucks.
//BEST MATCH//
Obviously to me the best match had to be watching Falcon and Simon Daye really working together to bring down a team that thought they were going to swoop in and get an easy victory after losing to Knitely Bangs a couple of weeks ago, Falcon and Daye made them pay for that line of thinking.
//WORST MATCH//
This certainly has to go to Ricky Johnson, not for how he wrestled or what he did during the match, but by how he tarnished it afterwards with his savage attack, there was no need for something like that inside an NCW wrestling ring.
//HIGH POINTS//
One High Point had to be seeing Alex Jones coming out and winning his first match as National champion right away. This is an Alex Jones who is focused and ready to show that he is one of the top stars in NCW and with a win over the returning Zane, he did just that. Anybody who faces Jones in the future better be on guard because he's not playing around anymore.
Then of course, seeing Steve and Rob kick each other right in the family jewles was priceless and something none of us will soon forget.
//LOW POINTS//
First off let me say how disappointed in Ashlie Ember I am, sat here and pimped her out my ears to everybody saying how she beat Trish Newborn and she can't even last ten seconds in a wrestling match her first match from that win? Thanks for making me look like an idiot Ash.
Overall everything was really good this week and I think there is a lot to build on from here to come. The show was a solid 8.5 for me.
THE FAB FIVE
5. ZELDA KNITE:: I don't know what is getting into her... well I do... she's awestruck and in love with her soon to be husband and can't focus on anything else and it's starting to show, but she still managed to hold off the fast rising La Revolucion.
4. ALEX JONES:: Well if it wasn't hard enough being set out as a target right away when somebody walks through the door, he was targeted by somebody he's known well in past NCW years with Jimmy Zane. However Jones took on the challenged and beat Zane and showed why he's the national champion.
3. KATHLEEN CONWAY: She managed to beat the former World champion this week, she had a great match and it was a very good win that could propel her to bigger ones in the near future.
2. THE INTERNATIONALS:: It may have taken two of them, but those foreign jerks with the crazy customs defeated DDK, a great feat.
1. XANDER FMAULARO:: Well he rebounded nicely rom his loss at A Night to Remember and it was good to see him kick Jacobsen around a little. Xander may have lost his chance at the world title, but I don't think this is the last we've seen of this gladiator.
PREVIEW AND PREDICTIONS
LAST WEEK'S RECORD:: 9-1 :: You see what I mean... every stinking time I back Joe Everyman he goes and messes things up for me, otherwise I would have had a perfect score, screw you Joe!
OVERALL RECORD:: 173-48 :: I still haven't hit 50 wrong picks! This is amazing! I as like at 45 just four weeks ago! Holy crap.

WHAT TO KEEP AN EYE ON
WEBB vs. JACKSON:: They were both successful in their NCW debuts and word is backstage that they really turned some heads and with a win here could cement themselves some possible title shots in the future, the question is who wants it more?
CHRIS GARDNER:: He's taking on his good friend Todd Williams this week, after facing the Kane brothers who have wanted to smash his head in for so many weeks straight it should be good for him to come out and have a friendly contest with his good friend.
RICKY JOHNSON vs. ADAM KNITE:: It's the new meaner Ricky Johnson take on the same old mean and nasty Adam Knite, it should be interesting to see what Ricky Johnson has in store for the hall of famer, will this new attitude carry over to this match?
PHILIP BURNS:: The former world champion is back and he totally isn't somebody else. What more can I say about it?
THE KNITELINE
Kelly Knite: So, Jim... it's good to see you back in NCW, it's been a real long time. Heard you won a World title over at one of those ripoff federations that Boone likes to start up every few months. How does it feel to be back?
Jimmy Zane: It feels great! Of course it would feel better had i been able to put "AJ Classic" down for the count last week, but you win some and you lose some.
Kelly Knite: I'm going to get right to it Jimmy, a lot of people weren't happy when you left, felt you kinda threw NCW to the side because things weren't going so great for you, then when you come back you talked about being "home"... how do you explain to these people that you really did love NCW all this time? How can you tell people that this is your home and make them believe you over all the hard feelings?
Jimmy Zane: Honestly i dont care what people believe. Things werent going well for me at all and in my perspective they werent looking to get much better. Lets face it, Kelly, statistics dont lie. I had a horrible record and I couldnt get out of the hole i was in. So i felt it was time for a change.
Kelly Knite: Fair enough, but do you feel like you might owe something to all the NCW fans who once cheered for Jimmy Zane, all the fans who feel like you stabbed them in the back? Do you feel like you are working extra hard to earn back their love, or are you just coming out and saying you're going to be yourself no matter what?
Jimmy Zane: Again, i dont care what the fans think. They cheer me, they boo me, it makes no difference to me. I am here to prove that i belong in the upper echelon of this company. That i belong in the same class as Rob Diamond, Falcon, Steve Awesome, Adam Knite and Spike Kane. That I am every bit as good as those guys if not better. I owe this to myself, and frankly, i dont owe the fans a damn thing!
Kelly Knite: Harsh words for somebody trying to get back into the spotlight. Maybe an attitude like that is what has stopped you from achieving that NCW fame you crave so much?
Jimmy Zane: Maybe, maybe not. But i forsee a lot of changes for me coming up in the near future.
Kelly Knite: Alright, sounds good... so now that you're back... when you look around backstage and in the ring do you feel like maybe you're coming into a new environment? How have things changed since you've been gone?
Jimmy Zane: Lets see. Rob Diamond.. Top of the card! Falcon... Top of the card! Steve Awesome.. Top of the card! It seems the more things change, the more they stay the same! There are some fresh faces, but for the most part, its the same ole, same old.
Kelly Knite: Really? You don't notice the rising stars of Lex Sense, Roberto Verona, Todd Williams, and your good friend's son, Xander Famularo around here? What about this new faced Young Guns? Surely Jimmy you see a lot of building blocks for the future in place? Possibly with you right in the middle of them?
Jimmy Zane: The building blocks are there for sure, but lets face facts. Im not getting any younger. Not sure if i can be a part of a rebuilding process. But i am bqck for the long haul, and come hell or higjh water i WILL achieve my goals here!
Kelly Knite: That's good to hear that you're planning on sticking through with this, so tell us, in a years time, were do you hope to be in NCW? What would make you say that this was indeed the right move to come back?
Jimmy Zane: That's an easy one, Kelly. The NCW World Championship. Bottom line, if you aren't in this business to win the World Title, then you are in the wrong business. Anyone who sits here and says "I am happy just being here and competing each week" is a bonafide liar! If one year from today I am in the hunt, or already been World Champion, then it was all worth it. The way I see it, I have several opportunities coming up. Road to the Gold. Riot Match or even the Colliseum. If I can put it all together in one of those matches, my goals will be within reach. That will make it worth it
Kelly Knite: It's good to see you really focused in on that goal and achieving it, I hope you really put it on and gave whoever is champion a run for their money when your time comes. However, speaking of World champions, how is your father doing? He ever give you any slack about Gib's daughter winning an NCW World title before his son could? Seems like something Punisher would do to try and light a fire under you.
Jimmy Zane: That piece of trash is still locked up in prison for what he did to me last year, and I hope that's where that piece of trash stays.
Kelly Knite: Kelly Knite: Sticking with that story huh? Sorta like the time you rode his "death" around like a badge?
Jimmy Zane: Keep it moving, Kelly
Kelly Knite: If you insist, but don't think for a second that I believe you haven't had any contact with your father in over a year. So lets stick with the general gist of what I was saying... ever feel any extra pressure from being the son of Punisher? Ever feel like you have to win the world title some day?
Jimmy Zane: Not anymore. That day in Tampa he lost everything I ever had inside for him. I HAVE to win the world title someday for me, not him!
Kelly Knite: Sounds good, I hope you can move past his egotistical ass and win something for yourself. You mentioned Rob Diamond's name earlier, you at one time were in the original Infamous that was kind of short lived thanks to your and Bates sudden departures. Are you suprised to see him with the world title finally? Would you love to have a crack at him? Do you think if you did you would have an advantage since you teamed together in the past?
Jimmy Zane:Rob Diamond is, and always has been, a top superstar in this company. You can't say you have any advantage against the guy. Period. Would I love to have a crack at him? DAMN RIGHT. I will earn it. I will get there. Now, whether he has the title by then, can't say. But Rob Diamond is one of the best EVER. Mark it down. BEST EVER.
Kelly Knite: So I guess we'll just go ahead and get on with some quick answer questions if that's fine with you?
Jimmy Zane: Fine with me.
Kelly Knite: What wrestler in NCW right now do you most want to face in a match? Maybe it's somebody you never faced before? Maybe it's somebody you have unfished business with? Who and Why?
Jimmy Zane: Who... that's easy.. FALCON! Call it unfinished business. He is one of the all time greats, and he has always had my number. I want a chance to flip the script and prove that I can hang with him one on one.
Kelly Knite: Finally pick up some revenge from the whole “pale horse” thing? -laughs-
Jimmy Zane:....
Kelly Knite: Kelly Knite: Ok.... so moving on... the brown eye... I mean what wrestler in NCW do you see right now who could be the next big thing?
Jimmy Zane: Next big thing? Xander. His father is one of the greatest of all time. He will tutor and push his kid to be the best.
Kelly Knite: On a scale from 1-10 how would you rank the job you've done so far in your time with NCW? What one thing besides the world title obviously do you want to accomplish and add to that score before your time is done?
Jimmy Zane: Well, as I mentioned earlier, statistics dont lie. An overall sub .500 record doesn't deserve anything more than a 5 before I am done, would like to be able to say at least an 8, but we will see what happens.
Kelly Knite: Alright, Mr. leaves a lot... how would you rank NCW on the whole from a scale from 1-1-10 how does it compare to rivals out there?
Jimmy Zane: a 10. It's the toughest competition around. That's why I am here.
Kelly Knite: Alright, here's the question I've asked every single person I've interviewed. It's Ginger versus Mary Ann NCW style, who would you pick? Kelly Knite or Zelda Knite?
Jimmy Zane: Easy. Zelda. She has the experience factor, and in this business, when you know the ring, and have been to the top, and stayed at the top. No way in hell you can beat her.
Kelly Knite: You do realize I have beaten her and am still her only single smatch loss right?
Jimmy Zane: Yeah, well, a blind squirrell finds a nut every now and then
Kelly Knite: Well, that's Zelda's official first ever vote in this "competition" so there you have it folks, Jimmy Zane, returning star and son of the legendary Punisher. This is the chance where you get to say anything you want Jimmy to the NCW fans tuning in. Anything you want to say?
Jimmy Zane: I don't have anything left to say to the fans. But I want to take this time to put the rest of NCW on notice. I may not be the biggest. I may not be the best. But I can gaurantee that I am damn good and I plan on making life a living hell for everyone in that locker room. I got blinders on. I have a singular focus, and there is no way in hell I am stopping before I reach those goals!
Kelly Knite: Well Thanks again Jimmy for doing this and again, good luck in your chase for the gold.
Jimmy Zane: Thanks for having me, Kelly.
CLOSING THOUGHTS
:: I'm serious, I will ****ing **** somebody up if they lay a finger on my child again.
:: What kind of person even uses a one year old to make a point? So ****ing stupid.
:: We've got a few second generation wrestlers in staring roles or soon to be staring roles right now, tell me you wouldn't love to see Xander take on Jimmy Zane.
:: I still don't believe that Punisher is rotting away in a jail cell, I once saw him take a bullet to the face on live TV, Jail can't contain him if Death can't.
:: Again.. seriously... who stalks a person... alright alright I'm done, I'm just so pissed at it.
:: Anybody who has been paying attention has known Zelda just hasn't been the same since that pregnancy scare and subsequent deciding to have a child thing.. I really wonder right now if maybe if her and Rob going on a break would be the best thing for her career.
:: Is Trent Helms retired? Nobody knows.
:: Would I love to see him stay? Of course.
Well fans that's all I have for you tonight, I really hoped you enjoyed this yet again and until next time.
