OPENING
Welcome again NCW fans, of course it’s Tuesday so here I am ready to bring you another exciting and wonderfully informed edition of my amazing popular Knitelife column that you’ve all come to know and love. With that shameless self promotion behind us, why don’t we get started already huh?
We have a lot to go over this week, the saga involving Steve Awesome and Rob Diamond is in full force this week, when they said they had no intentions of being best friends during both of their pursuits of the world title they sure as hell weren’t joking, which was made painfully clear with their actions the past two weeks.
To go along with that apparently, Crystal Hilton, is taking offense to the thought that Zelda Knite will be stripped of her title, and is trying to defend the championship this week in Knite’s place? Maybe it’s a title match for a vacant titel? Nobody knows but it’s getting to be a wild situation any way you look at it. There are a lot of emotions that are running high right now and with Reborn right around the corner things could be blowing up.
Now last weeks' poll was over who would grab the title now that Zelda has apparently left NCW? Well you fans voted and picked a surprise choice. It's cool to see somebody nobody expected come out and win it, but I don't know if she has enough matches under her belt to make a claim for that title yet. Still, it's not a terrible choice I don't guess.
This week we're going to stay away from any kind of Zelda question and instead go with something different, I know you're going to enjoy that right? This week's poll, is going to be over who are you most excited to see coming back in NCW over the past month or so? There have been a lot of returns, but how peaks your interest most and has the best chance of doing new and great things here?
RECAP AND REVIEW
This weeks show, what is there to say about it? Lets start off by saying all the matches were really good this week, Trauma and Collision alike and I’m proud of every wrestler here who put on such great performances. I always love being in the ring, even if is only for a few seconds before I get cheaply blindsided, and I hope everybody gets a kick out of seeing me wrestle.
Now onto the meat of the shows. It was cool seeing Trent and Steve working together as Close Encounters of the Awesome Kind again, hadn’t seen that in a long, long time in NCW and it was fantastic watching DDK and my man pick up a victory over two raging jackasses. Shelly Taylor-Jones picks up a big victory over Josie Everyman as both women looked to advance themselves further in the Starlets division, while Kathy Conway failed to defeat Mercedes Vargas in a match that was intensely close between the two ladies.
Overall there was very little to take issue with this week’s matches they were all very solid and even a couple that were borderline as being great, the big surprise though had to be the return of Ace and Jayson Mathews, where it looks like neither man is all that happy to see each other. They have a history against one another esle where and it has carried over here.
In the end I’d have to give the shows this week a 7.8.
//BEST MATCH//
CHRIS GARDNER vs. PHILIP BURNS: Kind of suprising choice I know, but that's what happens when you have two fantastic technical wrestlers like Burns and Gardner in the ring together, and it could possibly be the biggest win of Gardners NCW career. With how much the match could have meant to him, it was an intense match.
//WORST MATCH//
6 PERSON TAG TEAM MATCH: Only because of cheating Mercedes.. she sucks and I hate her and she'll always ****ing suck no matter what, so ha.
//HIGHLIGHTS//
You know who else sucks? SEX. Why? Because they have a retarded stupid ass name, so watching them lose was great, and even was a highlight for me. Maybe you should come up with a better name you stupid asses.
Rob Diamond's revenge on Steve Awesome was great, it was cocky, and it was totally something you want to see from a world champion. Rob isn't in the best of moods right now, not with what's going on between him and Steve and with the Zelda situation and I'm loving this more brash and cocky side of him.
//LOW POINTS//
It was the first night with Zelda... enough said.
Oh wait... The Ace returns, God I hate that guy... Damn you Ace.
THE FAB FIVE
5. JOSIE EVERYMAN: Picked up her first win for herself and her brand new team of Burning Man, it's a nice start for the sister of NCW's biggest loser. Hey look at it this way, she already has a way better record than he does percentage wise sitting at 500.
4. KRISTOFF LIAM BATES: Fantastic win coming back from the unemployment line. It's a nice start for him to get back on the winning track and this week he gets to team with Pooler again... maybe NCW has found a neat little tag team to get raped by Knitely Bangs next by total accident?
3. DOC: Just like KLB returning with a good win... well it was against Fergus and nobody gives a crap about Fergus, but helll.. it was a win so deal with it.
2. FALCON: It was a win over Spike Kane, the current honor champion and doing so in impressive fashion. Falcon got his 99th win over a Hall of Famer and former World Champion, good stuff.
1. CHRIS GARDNER: The former Honor Champion got a huge victory over the former World Champion, what else is there to say? It was an impressive match, it was a fantastic win, and is going to give Gardner a lot to build on as he continues his NCW career.
PREVIEW AND PREDICTIONS
LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 10-4
OVERALL RECORD: 191-56
Alright I did a pretty good job last week, I got double digit correct picks which is good but it kinda sucked getting both the last two collision matches wrong. Hopefully this week I'll turn that around and not only get 10 correct but get even more right. What do you think?
We have a great set of shows this week, probably one of the best I've ever seen heading into a pay per view and I know for a fact I've never seen our two cards set to have fourteen matches combined. How can NCW pack so much action into one weekend? I have no idea, but apparently we sure as hell are trying to put out some quality programing for your entertainment.

WHAT TO KEEP AN EYE ON
FALCON vs. NATHAN WEBB: Faclon has a chance to get 100 wins, you will have to keep an eye on this match without a doubt. Last week Falcon gets win 100 against a hall of famer, former world champion, and current Honor champion and this week he does a 180 turn and faces the newbie who has never done anything in NCW worth mentioning. Going to be interesting indeed, can Webb stop Falcon from getting #100 against him?
CRYSTAL HILTON vs. WHOEVER: Apparently she thinks she's good enough to just go out there and put Zelda's title on the line against anybody who ansers her challenge.. interesting.. I wonder which Starlet is going to answer the call first, I bet they're all licking their chops waiting for it.
LEX SENSE: Why? Because he's facing effin Steve Awesome. That's a huge task he has on his plate right there. Steve is a dillhole but he's a great wrestler and this could be a huge chance for Lex to pick up a huge victory this week. Looking forward to seeing how he holds up against the Hall of Famer.
DOC: He's wrestling two matches, that doesn't happy much in NCW, lets see how this effects him especially in our main event. Reckless Jack is a huge challenge and could have him gasping for air and hurting by the time the main event roles around, it might not set well with AJ that Doc asked for this double booking.
THE KNITELINE
Dewayne James; Omaha, Kansas -
Hey Kelly, what did you think of the NBA finals? NCW is headquartered in Dallas, and you call the town home now right? So how about hose Mavs? NCW planning on doing anything to honor the new champs?
Kelly: Well, I'm a Lakers girl myself, gotta support where I was born right? However, Adam is a big fan since this is where he's from so I support his teams just because I like to see him happy, he wished he could be back home to see them win too but he had that pesky Brad Kane to fight. Nothing outside probably an on air name dropping.
Lebron Wade; Topeka, Nebraska -
Kelly, what do you think about this whole Crystal Hilton situation where she just comes out and says she's going to put Zelda's title on the line in a match? I mean that's a little brash don't you think? What gives her the right to do such a thing?
Kelly: I don't know what to think about it, I get where Crystal's heart appears to be.... she doesn't want her friend to be humiliated like that, she wants to try and get a title match in so Zelda doesn't get stripped of the belt and just wants to take over where Zelda left off, but it seems like she just wants to be world champion too.
Craig Howard; Orlando, Iowa -
Who do you see challenging Rob Diamond or Steve Awesome going into Picture Perfect? Any chance that Alex Jones might be getting yet another World Title shot?
Kelly: People may not like to hear it, but if Jones successfully defends his National title at Reborn he could be in the running with his pretty impressive record lately, but I think it might be a surprise name, one that comes out of nowhere.... I'm thinking Lex Sense, or possibly a rematch with Falcon.
Dewight Shultz; Failsburg, Florida -
Come on Kelly... are you seriously trying to tell us that you have nothing to do with Zelda's not getting a new contract? You're your daddies darling little angel who he would do anything for we've seen that blatantly over the years, especially when we know you're being groomed to take over the company when he retires.
Kelly: Look, I've done everything I could to twist my dad's arm, it almost got to the point I got on the ground and started kicking and screaming like a three year old... he and his staff won't budge on their stance of thinking she's asking for too much.
CLOSING THOUGHTS
:: Feels good to see Rob Diamond acting like a world champion should right now, he's not taking crap from anybody, including his best friend. Keep it up Rob.
:: Speaking of good feelings, watching Knitely Bangs trump those RJ squared jackasses was a good feeling. Great job DDK, you crazy arse.
:: So Ace is back in NCW? Despite what I said earlier, this is great news. It's always great to have a former world champion making his prescience known.
:: Pretty good timing with the UK tour wouldn't you say? Doc and Ace both back in the span of what? Two weeks? Awesomesauce.
:: I'm looking forward to the Fan Choice pay per view that is coming up, because it's always exciting to see what you guys come up with for a show. The last three have all been amazing outings, and lets hope this one follows trend huh?
Alright that's all I have for you tonight, I hope you enjoyed the column and I hope you tune in next week and forgive me for losing to Gigatit this past week, I swear it won't happen again. This is Kelly Knite... until next time
