OPENING
Welcome fans to another week of my awesome weekly column known the world round and revered by all who happen upon it.... ok.. I can't substantiate that claim, but even so, here we are heading into another week of NCW pay per view action with our fourth edition of Reborn this week, and wow things were picking up this week with the show around the corner.
A lot of action to go over... the feud between The Young Guns and Flashbang has taken a sick turn with the induction of Jimmy Zane into the group and his attack on Xander Famularo... it was a disgusting display and I just want to smack Zane upside his head for it. Then we were all majorly surprised when out of nowhere Zelda Knite returns and we get the huge announcement that our Reborn main event has been turned into a Double World title match. Yes fans that's right, you heard it correctly... Rob Diamond and Zelda will be putting the world titles on the line, in one match. We could have two world titles change hands at the exact same moment.
All of this sounds crazy right? I know, I can barely believe it myself. I didn't think anything was going to top A Night to Remember but here we are and Reborn is looking like it just might be ready to pass it's bigger brother as far as exciting NCW pay per views go this year. And as always that's what this week's poll is going to be about, which match exactly has you the most excited? What match are you most looking forward going into this week.
Now, lets get on with this shall we?
RECAP AND REVIEW
This past week, with our final two shows before Reborn, we really gave the fans something to enjoy as both shows were action packed and our largest weekend to date just judging from the pure number of matches when it was all said and done we had thirteen matches spread between Collision and Trauma, that's right.. THIRTEEN! Even with all those matches we still had room to see Jimmy Zane officially put into the Guns, Zelda and Trish Newborn's returns and a whole lot more, how we did it... I have no idea.
On Trauma we got some really exciting matches that showcased some great up and coming talent along with a few veteran presences and a couple of Starlet matches that really showed what this division is heading towards very soon, maybe Zelda leaving won't cause there to be a big hole there after all, not after what I've seen from the women this week. Shelly Taylor-Jones is looking like the real deal with a win over the former champion Roxxxie while Josie Everyman is giving everybody somebody to root for in the Everyman family tree, even in a loss. It kinda sucked that the Philip Burns and Joe Everyman match didn't really happen because of Burns being an asshole, but it was the lone blimish on an otherwise great show.
Then on Collision... we started off the show with a celebration when Falcon won his one hundreth NCW match, he has the most wins in NCW history and is now the first person to reach 100 wins in the company. It was a great milestone for him and a great way to kick off the action of the night. KLB and Pooler again pick up a great win, they look like they might gain a future as a tag team here keeping that up and Jimmy Zane cracked Xander's skull open after he realized he wasn't good enough to beat Famularo one on one.
The match between Rob Diamond and Trent Helms was an instant classic as those two really took it to each other, it was painfully clear that Rob didn't take a liking to what Trent had to say about Zelda this week in his promos and made the former Champ pay for it, but before that we had yours truly totally screwing Reckless Jack over, which was just magical.
Overall the shows were just fantastic this week. There is not a bad thing I could say about it, 9.4
//BEST MATCH//
The best match of the night was clearly the match between Trent Helms and Rob Diamond. Those two really wanted to beat each other and it showed in their fighting. Trent Helms proves that he can still go with the best of them and Rob Diamond proved once again that he's a truly deserving of that World title. You can't doubt either man after a match like that when it could have went either way.
//WORST MATCH//
Well again, it's pretty obvious, it has to be Joe Everyman taking on Philip Burns, why? Because it didn't even really happen.. it was just Sack of **** acting like a douche bag and not really wrestling. Could have made for a great match, but instead we got nothing. Which sucked, because I usually expect that from Joe Everyman, not his opponents.
//HIGH POINTS//
Zelda Knite announces that she's signed on for a one match deal where she will defend her title against Crystal Hilton. That's some great news as she'll go out a fighting champion if she loses, but who knows what happens if they win.
Kelly Knite totally screwing over Reckless Jack.
//LOW POINTS//
Jimmy Zane acting like a jerk and destroying Xander when he realized that he couldn't win the match. Stupid jerk. No reason for that, and now he is sided with the damn Young Guns.
THE FAB FIVE
5. MERCEDES VARGAS: She was put into the main event against the fast rising and impressive new comer Josie Everyman and came out victorious on Trauma. It was a tough match that went back and forth but in the end saw her win it and in the end it gave
4. DOC: He had two matches and he won them both, that's good enough to get a spot on this list if I've ever heard of one. He got a little help from a certain blonde, tattooed, and overall sexy commentator, but we'll let that slide.
3. SHELLY TAYLOR-JONES: Hey it's a victory over a former World champion that's worth something around these parts.
2. ROB DIAMOND: Brother and sister back to back on this list, don't think I've seen that before unless Zelda and Adam or Xander pulled it off one week and my brain just can't process that exact moment in time. Anyway, it was Rob picking up a win over his former mentor, despite the slightly dirty tactics, it was a great victory.
1. FALCON: We've come all this way... Falcon is the first person to reach 100 wins in NCW. NCW has been going strong for so long sometimes it's easy to forget just how many shows and matches we've had and Falcon... he's standing at the top of them all with two world titles, a hall of fame induction and the most wins in NCW history.
PREVIEW AND PREDICTIONS
LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 10 - 3
OVERALL RECORD: 201 – 59
Hey, would you look at that, another week of double digits correct, I just can't stop myself can I? I also cracked 200 correct predictions, but it would seem I really struggled with Trauma this past week and I really wish I would have gotten that upset of the week right, but sadly since it was a double count out I couldn't count it... get it? Yeah I know it sucked, deal with it.
Anyway, we have a great Reborn in front of us, from top to bottom the show is going to be filled with some great action. Doc versus Falcon to open the thing and get the fans blood flowing, Young Guns taking on Flashbang, Trish newborn and Roxxxie continuing their crazy feud for the possible last time as they square off in a death match, AJ vs. AJ, Reckless Jack versus Adam, and finally a tag team main event with two World titles on the line... Tell me, where can we go wrong at Reborn? That's right we can't. It's going to be an amazing show and you're going to regret it if you miss it.

WHAT TO KEEP AN EYE ON
YOUNG GUNS vs. FLASHBANG: Every match that features them, yes that's right all three of them. Why? Because this is getting huge folks! Just look at that Tag Team match up there and tell me that doesn't look incredible, A Gladiator and a World Champion taking on two painted up loose cannons, then two title matches one a rematch for about the fourth time and the other a battle between Alex Jones and Andrew Jacobsen, a rematch from when they battled for the X-Division title this time last year. This is only the beginning of the awesomeness of this. Enjoy the ride.
THE ACE: It's his first match back in NCW and he gets to take on a Rival he knows well in Jayson Matthews. We haven't seen them fight here, but I've been told that it was pretty epic elsewhere, and from the looks of it so far, it's going to be here as well.
STARTLES TAG TITLE: Why? Because the belts that were made by EMF to boost the Starlets division are going to find a new home with new owners on this night. Should be very interesting to see if Mercedes and Kathy can work as a team against team MegaTit. Mercedes is a great tag team partner, I shoulder know -polishes her AFPW Tag Team title- so if any two can put down Titzilla and Boobenstein, it's somebody partnering with Mercy V.
THE MAIN EVENT: As I always say, I try not to put the main events on here because they're already the main event, but still... this match is very interesting. Lovers, tag team partners, enemies all combined into one match with two world titles at stake. It's going to be Infamous and EMF torn apart and put on opposite sides of the ring just for those gold title belts. It's going to be freaking intense with all the build that has gone into this moment.
CLOSING NOTES
:: With EMF seemingly breaking up on Collision and being put in the Main Event against each other for the World title, EMF has been stripped of the Starlets tag team titles they created.
:: Kathy Conway and Mercedes Vargas were made into a team with their wins on Collision and Trauma and hard work leading to this point, while that jerkass TitZilla got in thanks to pinning me. Jerkass.
:: I'm going to enjoy watching Adam rip into Reckless Jack and tear him a new one so much.
:: Ace officially returns, I know I rip on him a lot, I did before he left and I did first thing when he's back, but he's a great wrestler and a storied part of NCW history.
:: Roberto Verona and Todd Williams have quietly built themselves a nice rivalry, they'll try it one more time this week on Reborn and we'll see if Todd Williams can win his title back.
:: Speaking of nice little rivalries, Spike Kane and Chris Gardner put on a show last time, almost stole A Night to Remember with their great technical skills, I'm looking forward to seeing it one more time.
:: Phreak? And Freakke? Oh no, this isn't going to get ****ing confusing fast.
:: Oh yeah... Freakke the clown is making his return by the way. Should be exciting to see the former two time X-Division champion and National champion making his return to NCW.
Well everybody that's all I got this week, I hope you tune in to see the exciting Action from Reborn and I really hope you enjoyed the column this week. There is a lot to be excited about, enjoy the greatness that is NCW and good night.
Until next time....
