Kyle... Kyle.. Kyle Kyle Kyle...
You seem to, yet again, think your little band-aid cover ups and lying accusations are enough to keep your image in tow.
But not with me.
What I said was a pile of crap? But I hardly gave any opinions Falcon.
Those were facts.
Things that you had said and done.
I didn't shove anything 'to the side', why would I need to?
You made a big enough idiot of yourself. All I had to do was point it out.
Geez, don't shoot the messenger.
Nah, it's not me, but you that likes to skew history a little and pull things out of context to made sure you image stays in tact.
You're a liar Falcon.
I'm the most honest guy on the roster.
That's why you hate me so much.
All you do is warn people of the pitfalls that they're walking in to ? What pitfalls? What you mean is, you b*tch and moan when things aren't exactly how Falcon wants them to be. I mean, you kept telling the Young Guns that we had to change - but we didn't, and did it halt our success? No. So there's the point. Nobody listens to you anyway, but somehow, they still get to the top of nCw.
So ever stop and think that your advice might just be a load of poo?
I mean, what was it you said to Angel? Hold on, let me find the video clip, so you can't accuse me of dragging things out of context again.
Falcon: I haven't saved anyone...
(Angel looked away. He wanted to say something to comfort his friend. The man tried so hard to help people, teach them what they were doing wrong, and nobody ever listened.)
Falcon: Steve.. changed for like 4 months.. then one call from Fox and he's back to being a self centered worthless ass.. Rob.. Rob was supposed to be the future.. the guiding light.. now he's back to thinking like this career is just one big joke.. and Zelda..
Hmm. Yeah. Seems like just about everyone who ignores your advice goes on to become one of the top stars in the company.
Coincidence?
Probably not.
You see Falcon - having one rigid old character is plenty enough for a place like nCw. Did you never think to yourself - what if all those pitfalls I spent this whole time pointing out to people, aren't pitfalls at all? Did you ever think that maybe it's all those those guys who react on impulse, all those guys who don't follow the straightforward route to the top that millions sitting in their homes tune in to watch?
I don't believe in trying to change other people. I believe in freedom of expression. I believe in innovation. I encourage these young guys to go out there and create their own path. But I know why you're so conservative Falcon. Where are you going to be if everyone in this company learns new tricks and leaves an old dog like you behind? You need to keep the world the way you want it to be... because your an old man, and it's the only hope you have of sticking around.
So no need to get all defenseless Kyle. Truth is I admire you in many ways - as a competitor, as an athlete. You just think your sh*t don't stink a little too much. But you're right, you did chase Charlie Velez out of the company... but not by kicking his ass so bad that he had to pick up sticks and hide from the embarassment.
You did it by ruining his marriage.
Way to omit some information there boss.
And what's all this Charlie's my Messiah stuff? You still stuck on that whole 'turn the Young Guns against each other' schtick? Hmm, well since you seemed to omit that I beat Charlie here in nCw right before we formed the Young Guns, I'll let you in on a little secret. We weren't always this close Falcon. The reason that when you ask Charlie Velez who his favorite wrestler is besides himself, he says Doc, is because I went to war with him and Venom over the years. The reason we all respect each other so much is because I know both those guys are capable of kicking my ass in the ring, just like both of them know I'm capable of kicking their ass. All in all, it was just one big ass kicking triangle with three men who have faced each other more times than I care to remember. I guess it's hard for you accept that our whole relationship isn't based on gang mentality and strength in numbers. It's based on a human trait I thought you'd appreciate - mutual respect.
Try having a personality transplant and and I might even consider letting you come over for a barbeque some time.
But anyway, back to your lies and cover ups.
Did you really just make out like you never did anything but grovel for striking Zelda? Like it was just some, split second rush of emotion that you couldn't control?
I mean, you did apologize, but only behind the reasoning that she made you punch her, by siding with the Young Guns.
Not the best way to win back a girlfriend, I can imagine.
And did you really ask me to go back and get you proof?
Sure thing boss !
I know you're mad.
But I just didn't know what else to do.
I've tried to stop them from poisoning your mind.
Tried to keep you from falling prey to their dark urges.
Tried to show you how much they've been using you.
Tried to show that there are some things you don't do.
Things men like Velez and Venom do without a second thought.
I failed..
I was forced to act, Zelda.
I didn't want to do this.
Falcon: What? Go on.. hit me..
(Adam slowly lowered his arm.)
Adam: What the hell was that about?
Falcon: You know what it was about...
Adam: Yes. But if anyone's going to give her tough love.. it's going to be me...
Falcon: I didn't see you out there.
Ahem. So now that we've cleared up that little misunderstanding, we can move on to how the reason I couldn't beat you last time I was here, how the reason I'm so unhappy with life in general, is because I'm still the same person I was when I just a teenage kid.
What? Didn't I just a cut a promo talking about how much I've changed since I came in to this business?
Wow. Really Kyle. Now I don't even know whether you really are omitting facts - or whether you just don't know what the facts are.
Not that you'd ever need to worry about that.. I mean, who's going to argue with you - you're a black belt in martial arts, right? And on that note, I'll shut up about where I grew up when I feel like shutting up about it. Which is never. Because those people need to see that they can make it out of that situation. They need a someone who's going to represent them, someone who's going to alert people that we have a third world country stuck in the east end of Scotland's biggest city. Because until people realize it, nobody's going to give a damn enough to fix it. And I want to see it fixed, because for all the character flaws you say I have Falcon, I care about all the people who are stuck in the maze. So yeah, I put Glasgow on the map and I'm proud of it. And you can convince yourself that it's all a big waste of time, but we'll find out this Sunday what people over here think about my efforts, when you start hearing the usual chorus of Falcon chants being drowned out.
The biggest mistake you made though Kyle came right there at the end, when a crack in that carefully-crafted image of yours finally appeared. Because while I call you out of over who you are and what you've done, like I do to all of my opponents - I admitted that this match was close enough to go either way. You though, for all your "act" of how anyone can beat anyone, don't seem to be following your own advice.
I'm simply win number 101?
Cute.
But I can see why you're so sure of yourself. Like you said, I've never had a world title reign, never had the longest run with the National Title, never won the RiOT. But you think it's because I can't overcome adversity? Let tell you something, Mr. Stop Omitting Information. I never had a world title reign, but I still managed to become known as one of the best wrestlers on the planet - and how? By building a career overcoming adversity.
What an idiot.
Surely I must have overcame adversity just to have made it back here after what I went through? No?
You think you've seen it all Falcon. You think that little window of my career that I spent at nCw, snorting coke and demanding respect, you think that's all I've got. You don't look at the context of the situation, about how I was running away with the power rankings and ripping through everyone on the roster - including your good friend, and at the time world champion, Angel - until my life fell apart, and I started no showing events.
But I'll tell you the truth, and you can take my word for it or you can make out that it's just another excuse, I don't really care. I came to nCw back then for one reason only. To face some of the great names in wrestling, names that I hadn't got the chance to face at my previous employer. And yeah, I wanted to prove I was worthy of the tag "best in the world" against guys like you and Adam Knite. But right now? You're just another match to me Falcon. Another week. Another opponent. Because this time, I didn't come here to put on a wrestling showcase and maybe gain a few extra fans. I came with a pretty straightforward task in mind.
Take your number one spot in nCw.
And retire you in the process.
We both know neither of those things are going to happen this week Kyle, even if I do manage to beat you this Sunday.
But they're going to happen, whether it takes me six months...
Or six years.
So convince yourself that I don't "have the stamina". Convince yourself that I struggle so much with adversity that I'll be outta here again first thing on Monday morning, after you embarass me at Reborn.
Fine by me. You told Charlie he wouldn't do it either. But when he did, you changed your little gimmick pretty f*cking quick huh?
The nine years I've spent in this business speak for themself. And my nCw career, it's going to speak for itself, soon enough. 'Cause like I told you before Falcon.
I usually have hindsight to fall back on.
So don't stop now. Keep going till you reach two hundred wins. Keep cementing a legacy that you think nobody will ever come close to. Hold on to those memories of winning the RiOT and the world title. Cherish the reign you had as National Champ. But ten years from now, if you haven't managed to die from old age already, take a good look back. Take a look at what you've achieved here, and then compare it to what I went on to achieve after giving you a 76 win head-start. Because ten years from now... this match, these promos, your image - none of this is going to mean a damn thing. All that people are going to remember Kyle, is that I did what I promised I was going to do.
Became the best wrestler in this company.
And then retired you.
So enjoy the moment Falcon. My congrats on the hundredth win. Stop and smell the roses when you get the chance.
Because the future isn't going to be so kind to you.
I promise you that.
You seem to, yet again, think your little band-aid cover ups and lying accusations are enough to keep your image in tow.
