Wow... just.. wow..
Did I just get Ace'd?
I think I did.
Oh, some of you might not know what that is. That's the overzealous analyzing of a person's words, as well as their past words, and basically turning everything around. All in an effort to be right. Oh it's not about proving a point, or making sense, just so you can basically say...
Nu uh, you are.
I didn't think you had it in you. I really thought you to be better than that, man. I mean, going so far as to Ace me. That takes courage... and a dedication to a stupid cause above and beyond what most people would consider worth the effort.
Kudos, you've managed to become just like one of the most hated men in the business.
Oh, he's not hated because he's gifted, or better, or just a super dick, like most of the people you would consider hated.
He's hated because it's long, boring, and mind numbingly annoying.
Trust me, I've faced him enough to know this.
Now, while the Ace has gotten better at not being.. well Ace. Most people who fall into that similar trap tend to stay there.
Gee, I never realized all those midnight training sessions you spoke about meant sitting in front of a computer eating Doritos and watching old Falcon promos on Youtube. Or where-ever they're posted, I mean, I know they're out there. Angel reminds me all the time.
But you know, Doc.. I won't sit here and spend time Aceing you back. Because quite frankly I know how annoying it is, and as much as I hate you, I can't bring myself to do it to you. But, since you apparently.. and I'm going to emphasize this..
MISSED THE ENTIRE DAMN POINT[/b]
Allow me to clarify.
Those pitfalls.. aren't about wrestling..
Like.. at all..
Look at Steve, you're shining example of someone who didn't listen and became.. as you put it.. "One of the top stars"...
How happy is he as a person?
He's f'ing miserable.
I showed him what wrestling was all about. Those feelings we all have when we get that first job, that first contract, when we walk down that ramp for our first ever official match. That.. was a happy Steve Awesome.
Every woman he's slept with.. was a filler for the emptiness in him. Wonder why he doesn't have a stable relationship for more than a couple months? Wonder why both his family and Mandi turned on him?
C'mon, tell me you figured it out now.
I tell people to avoid the pitfalls. Don't be a dick for no reason, because people will abandon you. Don't put emphasis on material things because they eventually go away. Never stop trying to be better because the next guy just might hand you your ass, no matter how awesome you are.
That is the point you failed to grasp.
Look no further than your Young Guns. Charlie's not hurt, not injured, he's just gone. Up and walked away, took his ball and went home.
I made that happen.
Your mighty leader, gone from the ranks, because he acted too big for his britches and I had to put him in his place. I outvillained, the villain. I didn't ruin his marriage, in fact, the last promo he cut was him and Annette discussing how they were going to get the company back. And well, he decided it was too hard and left.
This is what you call a fact Doc.
What's wrong with wanting your co-workers to be happy? Whatever, you won't understand. You won't even try, because your head is so far up your own ass that nothing I say here will change that. I'm not going to sit here and defend what I said, I mean really..
You don't have to re-hash my entire career, Doc. I lived it, I know what happened. Maybe if you spent more time actually working on your game instead of watching my old promos for material you might have not lost your way halfway up the roster. But hey, my advice is apparently poo.
As for the whole mutual respect thing, let me ask you this..
When you left, what did they do?
They just went and got somebody else.
Yea, Charlie respects you, alright. So much so that he thought Jason Blair would make an appropriate Doc stand in. Face it, kid, you're backing the wrong horse. Still clinging to his message like it meant anything. You can talk all you want about how the Young Guns didn't need to change. But hey, again, I'm still here.
They all eventually broke, into little tiny pieces. So much for being the invincible stable. Charlie ran away, Venom's hurt, and all we have left are these little jokers running around ruining the name. People feared what the old Young Guns could do.. The last stable built to stop them had former world champions as well as two Hall of Famers. These two new groups, might as well be Triple A baseball teams in comparison.
Believe what you want to believe in Doc. I don't tell people to change to see them become little clones of me. I tell them to change so they'll be happy, they'll feel fufilled. They choose to ignore it, and they suffer for it. I don't need to defend the way I am, least of all to someone such as you.
Your life fell apart because you let it...
You gave into the very same crap I just talked about a minute ago.
Running away to your little dark place to do drugs, using them as a means to escape the crushing 'reality' you keep blathering about. Forgetting the career you keep talking about how hard you worked to build meant something to you, so you starting not showing up. These are the very same pitfalls I work to help people avoid, because I've seen what it does to people.
Yea, tell me that's not true. Since you know, you're a perfect example.
In admitting that, you basically just proved that my advice isn't all **** after all. And don't be all Acey again and tell me that I'm wrong. It just makes you sound so naive.
People a hundred times your caliber have come for my career, and nobody's gotten it.
People have tried to cripple me..
People have tried to kill me..
And I'm still standing here.
I'm thirty-three, not fifty. You wanna play this game for another ten years? Go for it. I got plenty of quarters, and I can go all night long. Don't want to be number 101? Tough
Sadly, what you forgot..
The game is over..
I won.
Anything you can do, I've already done. And you would just pale in comparison.
Come after my career, my life..
....You can't kill me..
I'm Immortal...[/color]
(Falcon was still sitting on the hood of the car. This part continues the promo from the other day in case you're confused. He was staring at his new (old) house, and thinking when his phone buzzed. He checked it, and it was a text message from that same anonymous number. He frowned a little.)
Weeeeeee'reeeeeeee heeeeeeerrrreeeeee.
Falcon: What the hell does that even mean? Who's we, and where the hell is here!?
(He sighed in frustration, and then his phone rang. That number was actually calling him. He'd called it a few times, and got a standard voice mail service that didn't give a name, so he'd just let it pass. He answered it.)
Falcon: You have three seconds to tell me who you are...
Woman: Now, now, is that any way to greet a friend?
(The voice was unmistakably a woman's but was speaking in a hushed tone so he didn't recognize it.)
Falcon: Yea, friend, right.. cuz friends just send anonymous text messages for weeks..
Woman: Ok, so we're not really friends, but look! We're neighbors now..
(Falcon's brow furrowed in confusion. And he looked around, then he saw the house next door. It was sort of an upper class section of Boston, so the houses each had fairly large sections of lawn, and he could barely make out someone standing in the window, looking at him.)
Falcon: .....Yay..
Woman: You don't sound too happy..
Falcon: Would you be happy if you found out someone had been stalking you and lived next door?
Woman: Ok, point taken.. I guess we'll just have to have dinner and you can see that I'm completely harmless.
Falcon: Oh, sure, why don't I just chloroform myself and make it easy on you..
Woman: Tempting but no. I'll leave my door unlocked, dinner will be Friday at 8. Come or don't come, I'll leave it up to you.
(The dial tone was heard and Falcon put the phone back in his pocket. The woman waved at him from the window, and then was gone.)
Falcon: Now life is just messing with me.. ah well..
(Falcon leaped off the hood of the car, and opened the trunk, starting the process of moving back into his home. He'd worry about the crazy stalker lady some other time.)
Did I just get Ace'd?
I think I did.
