In one of my older feds, there was this tournament called the King of the Mountain. It was like a King of the Ring but slightly different. I'll lay it out:
-Every competitor in nCw (nix the champ and the number 1 contender) participates in a battle royal, yes- -even partners, at which point the eight remaining men advance to the next round.
-The next week, the eight survivors take each other on in single pin fall matches until four remain. (These matches are selected in a random fashion.)
-The following week, the four remaining superstars go at it in a fatal four way pin fall elimination match with the winner being crowned King of the Mountain and gaining a shot at the nCw title.
Even if the winner doesn't get to face Lance Ryan for the title, winning the tournament is pretty cool (I know because I won it way back when). Just a thought. Don't be afraid to share your opinion.

By the way, no I'm not in talks with Fox about this. lol It's for my own personal amusement. If I feel enough people vote, which would be nice, then I think I'll present it to him somehow. But for now, I highly doubt it would ever happen. I don't hold a high enough position in nCw to ever get it off the ground. If you're interested on how it works on the RP level, everyone RP's and the eight best are selected. That friggin' simple. It works doing anything else, why not this. That is unless the nCw mastermind Leonard Fox thinks of a better way to do it. And I'm sure he could.
