The scene opens up, and we see Seth Evans standing in front of the camera. His back is to the camera, and both arms are at his front, one lifted as if it were holding something...
"Scintillating."
He says, as he turns towards the camera. The reason his arm is up can finally be seen, as he's holding a pipe and puffing on it a bit - instead of smoke coming out of the pipe, all we see are bubbles. Kiela's voice can be heard just off of the camera.
"What did you just say?"
She comes onto the camera, a confused look on her face. The only thing that Seth is able to do is shrug.
"I don't know."
Dumbfound by this, Kiela just gives Seth a blank stare, and parts her lips as if she's going to say something but can't seem to find the words immediately. It takes her a moment, and slight hesitation, but she finally does manage to ask another question.
"Then... why did you say it?"
A grin comes to Seth.
"Because it makes me sound smart."
Kiela blinks a few times, and struggles to keep herself from laughing.
"Kind of defeats the purpose if you don't know what it means."
Seth squints his eyes at Kiela.
"Touché."

Oh, how the year has changed me.
It was just one year ago where I walked out of Picture Perfect as the brand new X-Division Champion. It was all I cared about, it was all I wanted - I breathed for that X-Division Championship, I lived for that championship, and believe me when I say; I would have done anything to make sure that it stayed around my waist.
That was one year ago.
When I was somebody.
When I had a name.
How the year has changed me.
That championship, it's nothing anymore... the only thing left of that belt are the memories of everybody who held it in the past. Angel, Alex Jones, myself. I couldn't live up to the standards that those two put onto that championship, and for one reason, and one reason alone.
I feel no shame.
No shame for not being able to do what I promised to do, no shame in not being the greatest X-Division Champion that nCw would ever know. NO SHAME. For, standing next to me... is a great woman.
------------------------------------
We go back to the room where both Seth Evans and Kiela both are, Seth still puffing on the fake pipe... it only takes a moment for Kiela to get close enough to snatch it from Seth, and begin to walk towards the trash.
"You need to get rid of this stupid thing. Do you have any idea how silly you look?"
Not able to intervene with the decision made by Kiela, Seth lets out a sigh. He follows a little bit behind her.
"I thought it was funny."
Kiela, after throwing away the fake pipe, turned towards Seth, and then glanced at the camera. It was hard for her to keep a smile off of her face, though she didn't try to hide it.
"It was silly, but I think that you should be getting back into the gym... start training for your match. You know you have one next week, right? Just one week away. Seven days."
She walks closer, and he puts his hands onto her hips.
"One-hundred sixty-eight hours."
She says, sounding a bit chirpier. Seth chuckles with how far she's breaking it down and leans in to try to give her a quick kiss - she turns her head, and goes onto the next time unit.
"Ten-thousand eighty minutes."
Seth rolls his eyes at this one, but is still chuckling... her bright brown eyes stare up at him, and a smile is on her face nearly from ear to ear.
"I---"
Seth manages to get that one word out before being cut off by Kiela.
"Six-hundred-four thousand eight hundred seconds!"
Kiela blurts, and Seth is almost astonished at this point.
"How did you know that right off the top of your head?"
Kiela smiles, and moves Seth's hands from her hips so that she can walk towards the couch.
"I'm good with numbers."
------------------------------------
A great woman who has given me her blessing to get back into this ring... and continue on with my task. My goal. My dream, my future to be the NCW World Heavyweight Champion! To be the single greatest wrestler to ever step into the NCW ring.
And I will be.
All of the people in the past, who believed in me. All of the people who believed the words that I said. The words that I am the greatest wrestler to ever get into the ring... everybody who believed that I am a true gift to professional wrestling. While I don't do this for them, it's true.
As I have stated before, I keep letting things get in my way that prevent me from getting to where I want to be, and from where I should be. Not anymore, though! Nothing will stop me on my new rise to success.
It's my own fault. It's my own fault for why I have to start... right back from the bottom. My mentor, though, always told me to question one thing about myself...
------------------------------------
"Listen, Seth, I gave you permission to get back into that ring... and I gave you the condition that you had to agree to for me to agree to let you get back into the ring. I don't want to see it all crumble for you."
She says while sitting down on the couch, and Seth, yet again, follows her over to the couch. He doesn't sit down right away, but just stands in front of her.
"It won't."
By the sound of his voice, she could tell that he did have that fire burning inside of him. It brought a sense of relief to her.
"I still think that you need to get back into the gym, and start getting ready for this match."
This time, Seth seems a little irritated by the suggestion that Kiela had made, and he sits down next to hear but his hand doesn't move towards her... he just sits there, and shares in the conversation that he's having with her.
"Ever since you gave me permission to get back into the ring, all I have been doing is training. With your brothers, with my trainers... you know they flew all the way out from Seattle to help me get ready for this, right? I've been training."
Kiela turns in her seat to face Seth.
"Don't get mad. I know you've been working hard, and all I want to do is see you succeed."
Seth takes a deep breath, and looks Kiela straight in her eyes.
"I love you, Kiela. I just need you to trust me when I tell you that come this Sunday, I will be in the best shape of my life... and I will bury Jonas Potter. After I get through him, I will get my way back up to the top of the company - I will be known. I will be the World Champion."
Kiela grabs one of his hands and holds it.
"I won't quit when that bell rings. Come Sunday, you won't be the only one screaming my name."
Just then, the camera cuts off from this scene... however, we hear a loud smack, and the voice of Seth Evans.
"Ow."
------------------------------------
What's driving me to continue?
What is it that's getting me to go back into that ring, time, after time, after time?
This answer... has always been the same for me. I want to be seen as the best, and I want to be the best. I want to be the World Heavyweight Champion. I want to be the Hall of Fame. I want Adam Knite, Angel, Falco, everybody to look at me - envy me - and say that I am the best man they'll ever see in that ring.
Every so often, with me... that spark tends to go out. I start to question whether I can do it, whether this is for me. Every time that spark does go out, it comes back in a full flame and I... once again... become unstoppable.
What's going to make things different this time around?
Someone to care for that fire. Someone to keep that fire burning, and to tell me to keep going: Kiela. The woman that I left this industry for, the one who saw the fire burning in my eyes... the one who urged me to get back into this ring, and once again, do what I do best!
Wrestle!
My opponent at Picture Perfect this Sunday... I can't say I know him. I can't say that I'm worried about him.
Dr. Jonas Potter.
This isn't a familiar name to me, just as I'm sure that I'm not a familiar name to him... there's nothing that I can say about him. Save for one thing. The drive in me is on, this fire is burning. You're going to play as a messenger for me. You're going to tell the entire NCW universe, the entire professional wrestling industry one thing...
Open your eyes.
Turn your channel to NCW programming.
Watch Seth Evans.
Watch him rise... watch him break through the ranks of everybody that stands in front of him, and watch him excel. You, Jonas Potter, don't stand a chance this Sunday. The trauma that you've experienced... will be just a glimpse of what I'm going to do to you.
I'm going to make you wish that you never signed that contract.
I'm going to make you wish that you never wrestled.
*End.*
