"This man has to be... by far... the single greatest doctor, in history!"
Hearing the voice of Seth Evans prompts the camera to start going. For a moment, all we see is a white wall - presuming that we are inside of a hospital, but the camera slowly turns from the wall and shows Seth Evans and Kiela sitting in front of the TV. Watching House.
"I know! This show is amazing. How does he always know what's wrong?"
A bowl of popcorn sits between the two, and Seth Evans takes a handful of it... while snacking, he shrugs his shoulders.
"I have no clue, but he is... AMAZING!"
We hear the cameraman gasp joyously, and he tries to set the camera down.
"Holy crap, it's House!"
Seth quickly snaps at the cameraman.
"Shut up! Do your job! We're watching House... you... you're gonna watch us watch House!"
He turns away from the camera and continues to watch the scheduled program. The silence doesn't last too long, though, as Kiela turns to Seth.
"Don't you think you should be getting prepared for your match?"
Seth shrugs, and continues watching the show.
"Really, Seth, Dr. Jonas Potter did have quite a bit to say about you."
With a long sigh, Seth turns to Kiela.
"I heard what he has to say. What do you want me to say about it? Should I pull a Conway --- and answer it all, word for word? Tear down everything? Get inside? Should I pull a Jason --- ramble on and on about the same sentence? Flex my muscles? Should I pull a---"
This time, he gets cut off by Kiela.
"A Rob Diamond? And actually do something about it?!"
----------
Once that name was brought up, it was as if she hit a nerve. Rob Diamond. I hope he doesn't think for one second that I have forgotten about him - how he brought out the best of me... and how he beat me. How he took me to his level, took me to the top of the X-Division mountain... just to watch me crash.
That man. The World Champion.
Rob Diamond.
I know that all those years ago, when he defeated me... I was on his level. I believe that I can beat him - I believe that I still can beat him, even as he holds that championship that I don't deserve.
How I wish she didn't bring up his name.
Not for my sake.
But for Jonas Potter.
You see, there's something about Rob Diamond that just... bothers me... the fact that I had the chance to beat him, the fact that I did have him beaten! He somehow turned everything around on me, and not just ruined my career, not just ruined my dream, but ruined my life!
Believe me when I say that when I hear his name.
I snap.
Jonas Potter, you wanted me to do my homework on you. The only thing I have to ask you is... WHY? Why should I bother? Why should I waste my time? I think I have the answer, Jonas.
It's because you want to matter.
It's because that when you step into that ring with me, you want to feel that you are on my level... you want to feel that you are in my league. I want you to get this through your head right now, "doctor". I want you to know that you are not on my level, nor will you ever be.
Am I different?
Am I stronger?
Am I smarter?
Am I better?
You were right to say... ALL OF THE ABOVE.
I am better than all of them, just as much as I am better than you. Just as I am better than anyone who signed onto this roster, and I've mentioned what the problem is. I've mentioned why I haven't been able to get the success that should be mine --- lack of vision. Lack of effort.
There's something a little different about me compared to everybody else. Even to you.
I can admit my faults... I look back at everything that I've done, and I ask: Why not me? Why am I not the World Champion? Why am I not the National Champion? Why am I not in the Hall of Fame? I have nobody to blame but myself.
It wasn't because I couldn't do it.
It was because I wouldn't.
I'm ready, though, I'm ready to step into that ring... again... and what's that old saying? Actions speak louder than words. That's why I'm going to get into that ring, Jonas, this Sunday... at Picture Perfect. I am going to beat you.
I'm not going to try to beat you.
I'm not going to THINK I CAN.
I'M GOING TO.
You have this belief... that I haven't done my homework. That I'm not going to be prepared for what you can do in that ring. That's your mistake. Just because I chose not to speak of you, just because I didn't know who you are, that doesn't mean that I haven't gone back and looked at what you could do.
I'm arrogant.
Not an idiot.
You're not an idiot inside of the ring, Jonas, I will give you that... Will I have my hands full with you this Sunday? I believe I will. I believe that you will give me a match to remember. I believe that we will also face each other... far in the future. When we both become the main event.
In the future, and right now. Today. This week.
There's going to be one thing that you will remember... and that is that you WILL NOT beat me.
See you this Sunday... Be sure to be on your "A" game when you get into that ring with me. I'll tell you what I see when I look at you: I see the World Championship. It's through you... nothing will stop me... I will go through you to get what will be mine.

A blank stare was left on the face of Seth Evans, as he sat there... the words that Kiela, his own girlfriend, the love of his life, said to him. They rang inside his head.
"I'm sorry, babe. I just want to see you succeed."
A grin comes to the face of Seth Evans, but turns into a smile as he looks into the beautiful brown eyes of Kiela.
"It's alright. I know that everything you do and say to me... is what's best for me."
Suddenly, a phone can be heard ringing. It's on the end table just next to them, connected to the charger... Kiela takes the phone, and unplugs the charger before answering it.
"Hello? ...Yes, he's right here."
Kiela holds the phone out for Seth to take, and Seth gives her a questionable look - as if to ask her who it is, without actually saying it.
"It's Ashe Corvin."
As Seth takes the phone, the scene fades.

There's something that the greatest wrestlers have come to understand, that the rest of us have to learn... it's something that we have to learn on our own, but the words ring true to me. They are words that I have based my career on. This is the whole reason that I don't bother with learning too much about what my opponent can do, or what my opponent has to say.
Because...
At the end of the day.
It doesn't matter.
The only thing that does matter is... what a man can do, and what a man can't do.
That's what matters to me, and that's why... the only thing that I can say, is that I CAN beat you. It's not a question of if I will.
Because I will.
