Lex Sense: Angel, I'm beginning to think that you are conveniently ignoring who you really are in an attempt to prevent further confrontation. It's nice of you to go out of your way and try to express your discontent towards the choices I've made in life but only GOD can judge me now. Still, I must say that these touching moments you've been putting on display are really beginning to warm what's left of my heart. As a fan I enjoy watching you do everything in your power to avoid the fact that you are lying to yourself. Family man? Yeah right.
You may fool the rest of these sheep with those brainwashing tactics coming from your distorted mind but I will have none of it.
You may believe your own hype mate but believe me when I say that you are very much the same man that you were before. You're just too much of a fool. Denying that black hearted pirate that dwells inside of you to see the light of day once again will only work to harm you. No matter how much you try to run and hide from your true self, I know it still lives inside of you.
And I mean to bring it out.
{Lex is walking through a crowd of people as he speaks from underneath the hood. From the surroundings you can tell that he is in some airport probably located in the same city Picture Perfect will be in. He continues to push pass tourists and travelers as he makes his way to the exit. Most quickly moving out of the way as the rest turn their heads in astonishment at the big guy's crazed looks. Some people recognize him but who in their right minds would ask Sense for an autograph.}
Lex Sense: Judging by these last set of words you had for me it's starting to become clear to me that you are realizing the exact same thing I mentioned above. It's nice to see that you are finally starting to remember exactly who you are and what you are capable of.... Even if it's already too late. You see Angel, I have your number and come Picture Perfect... I will have your head. You and I have a score to settle. Debts will be paid. Receipts shall be cashed and whatever other sh*t cliches could be used to describe the hell you and I are about to walk in. The one thing you must know by now is that this is no meet and greet, this here is what you call domination.
And I am the introduction to your demise.
{Some idiot on a cellphone stands directly in front of Sense's path and is pushed to the floor. The man turns to see the behemoth and does nothing but crawl away. Lex continues marching, walking through the sliding doors that lead to the outside. The fresh air hits face and it seems to burn instead of refresh him. Lex despises any public form of transportation but this time he opted for a public airliner instead of utilizing the Young Guns private jet. Maybe in an attempt to live as a hungry fighter instead of a spoiled champion. The flight itself was long and dreadful seeing as the seats are hardly comfortable for a man of his size. As he looks out into the distance he mutters.}
Lex Sense: Boston, Massachusetts.
{The feeling that this city will hold a special place in his heart after this Sunday passes courses through his veins. Yes, history is in the making.}
Voice: HOW F*CKING DARE YOU!?!
{The voice came from behind, interrupting the future's train of thought. Lex turns around to find someone unexpected stalking him. This woman walks right up to Sense and delivers a sick looking right hook that connects right across Lex's jaw. He doesn't stagger, but he feels the blow as if a knife were puncturing his heart.}
Female: You knew to stay away! You knew what would happen if they saw you! Yet you ignored the restraining order and showed up at their school! Are you mad! Why the hell did you come back!?!
{Lex holds his jaw letting this woman finish her rant. She stands there in hopes of getting the answer she's looking for but with Sense you only get what he wants. He looks down at her, looking directly into her eyes as he remembers the good times they once had. This woman is a representation of a past he's desperately tried to forget. A memory of a life that died long ago. With her unwarranted reappearance came unwanted feelings that slowly crept up like the Black Death.}
Lex Sense: What the hell are you doing here Alice?
{The words were cold and methodical as he approached his ex-wife. Slowly confronting her as she back pedals against the wall. The look on her face shows a bit of fear but the look on her eyes shouts defiance. She would no longer allow herself to cower before the man she once loved. Not anymore anyway.}
Alice Sense: You are the one that disrupted our lives when you decided to do your stalker thing. Why would you stalk our little girls?
Lex Sense: It seemed like a good idea at the time. Besides, I left them in peace.
Alice Sense: You left them wondering if that big scary man hiding in the dark alley was there father. You left them crying for a daddy that will never come for them. Is that what you call peace?
Lex Sense: Compared to what I could have done,.... yes.
Alice Sense: You really are a bastard. If you were going to ignore the restraining order you should at least have the decency to cross the street and say hi to your daughters.
{Sense remembers the day clearly. The day he decided to pay his twin daughters a visit. He stood across the street from a school for young girls and just watched as his babydolls played hop scotch. He could have crossed the street and said hi but he couldn't allow himself that moment of humanity because that man died the moment his family left him behind. Sense remembers that day. He remembers his twins reaching out as they called for his daddy just as well as he remembers walking away.}
Lex Sense: You leave me to rot in a cell. You leave the country without telling me. You marry some wanker piece of sh*t after asking me to sign divorce papers from behind bars. You get a restraining order on me, a man you claimed to have loved, and you have the gull to hunt me down to ask why I didn't just cross that street to say hi to my girls that barely know who I am? The nerve of some whores.
{Alice is crying after hearing those words as it brought up the same f*cked memories that haunt Sense on a daily basis. Some people can just flip a switch and forget but some people live with the pain everyday. Alice wipes tears away as she goes to slap Lex but her hand is caught. She goes for it again with her free hand but that hand is caught too. Sense forces both her hands to the small of her back as he brings her in close.}
Alice Sense: What happened to you?
{The words spoken as she tried with all her might to fight back tears. The bustling airport has begun to take notice of this scene and some of the crowd has begun to shout phrases like, "let her go". A stretched out Bentey pulls up to the front just as some men in the crowd have started to unite to put a stop to Sense. Andrew, Roberto, and James step out to ensure that none of these men try to interrupt Sense.}
Lex Sense: Things change sweetheart.
{Lex notices the people standing about so he lets go of her as he pushes her back against the wall.}
Lex Sense: They never stay the same.
{Sense turns around and walks away as Alice slides to the floor against the wall. She hugs herself as she weeps and passerbys go to aid her. They shout some kind of disrespectful words towards the behemoth but nothing is as bad as the words his own conscious is flinging his way. The public is in an outrage thinking that he laid his hands on her not really knowing the situation. They are as you are, outsiders looking in.}
Andrew Jacobsen: Quite a touching scene there big guy.
{The Young Guns were standing outside the Bentley as backup in case the crowd got out of hand. They were picking up Sense to go over strategy or maybe just to play a hand of cards.}
Lex Sense: Nothing I can't handle.
{Sense was only speaking half truths since the argument with his ex wife left him questioning his actions as of late. Andrew just looks back at the tragic scene before waving for the rest of the gang to get in the car. Lex also takes one last look back and thinks to himself, "What the hell am I doing?". This scene fades to white as the Bentley drives away, the cameras turning to face Alice one more time.}
Lex Sense: I do know what you are talking about Angel. When you talk about a family I think about my own. About how I wish I could just forget the darkness of my past as you have, but I can't. This business is a swallower of lives. If you aren't strong enough it rips everything you hold in your grasps away. I wasn't strong enough. I sacrificed everything I once held dear. My wife, my daughters, my life, my sanity. In this business you must be willing to sacrifice if you ever intend on going anywhere. I have sacrificed and will continue to sacrifice until I complete my mission or I'm lying in the middle of that ring dying.
{A different scene comes into frame. We are in some kind of den. The room is filled with ash as a firepit sits in the middle of the room. Within the firepit lies burning steel. Many different shapes and sizes. The sounds of a hammer banging could be heard as the cameras rotate to reveal a huge man banging away at heated steel. This "blacksmith" is working hard on shaping steel. He takes the heated steel and places it in a bucket of water. The H2O cools down the steel as steam blows up into the air. The man removes his headgear and Lex looks into the camera.}
Lex Sense: I don't make excuses for the way I am because I understand all too well why things are the way they are.... It's because we made it that way. You allowed Alex to exploit your family and you allowed those feelings to inhibit you like a tranquilizer dart. I guess you are lucky in that respect Angel because I am not going to exploit your loved ones to get ahead in this match. Your family, my family, none of that matters in the overall view of this match. It comes down to me wanting to show you that you are still that sick son of a bitch that we have grown to hate. I don't need leverage going into this match because the only leverage I'll need will be with me within that ring. We may be similar in style and brutality but what sets me apart is...
My height and girth.
This is something you should not ignore. I understand that you are one tough piece of work but I am bigger, stronger, better. There may have been a time when you demanded respect and instilled fear but those days, along with the days of me being a family man, have withered away into nothingness.
Yes, we are similar in style and brutality but I, unlike you, have a bright future ahead of me.
At least in the wrestling department because we all know you have a well cushioned job waiting for you when you decide that you've had enough of the part of the business you spend your days trying to forget. Barking out orders behind a desk like some kind of unquestionable GOD while having punks like me flip you off.
It must be nice to be you.
I walked through nCw's doors with you in mind. I wrestled everyday in hopes of reaching your level but you retired soon after and I am not going to let that sh*t slide. I understand that teaming up with Alex Jones would make any man want to retire but you are not going anywhere until you've faced down your demons.
This week that smiling demon is me.
{Sense pulls out the steel from the water and checks it before walking over to the firepit and placing it back in. Moving the fire around to ensure the blaze continues.}
Lex Sense: Picture Perfect is the grandest stage for me. It's the pay per view I have been waiting for. I knew that this day would be the day that I would challenge you and show the world that I am not just another punk roaming these halls for a paycheck. That I am the real deal and one should tremble in the steps that I walk.
I have tasted success just as well as I have tasted defeat but nothing will be as sweet as when I have you bowing before my feet.
I bit my time and waited patiently until the moment you butted your nose into Young Gun business. You made the mistake of becoming a blip on my radar after I had given up on the idea of facing you. I wanted this match but you are the one that asked for it. You should have stayed away and retired instead of accepting my challenge but then again I guess I never really gave you a choice.
Destiny never really gave you a chance.
I need this victory Angel more than you do. I have to show the world that I can get into that ring with the best of them and put them to rest. I know I can beat you. I know it. I just hope that knowing I can and actually doing it coincide in the same page written in history.
A page that will be written with your blood.
Maybe The Young Guns are wrong in the way we do business. Maybe your reactions to our actions are justified. Maybe you are doing what's right for this company and it's fanbase by getting in our way. Maybe I'm wrong for the way I've been acting and maybe I just need an excuse to rip that smug smirk from your face.
{Lex blows the heat and it reignites into a fireball. The heat almost makes the camera lose focus.}
Lex Sense: Angel, I have seen what you are capable of just as I have seen how far you have fallen. This gauntlet that I slapped your face with was intended for me to prove a point. You don't belong behind a desk. You belong in that ring with me. Taking pissant f*cks to their limits before showing them their true place in this world.
And to prove this point I must do exactly that to you.
{Lex brings out the heated steel and picks up a hammer as he begins to bang away some more. Creating a weapon that may or may not be used at Picture Perfect.}
Lex Sense: Two of us will be going to that ring and neither one of us is going to walk away the same once the dust settles. This match has the potential of crippling us both and taking everything we worked for away and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have already lost my wife, my daughters, my life, my sanity and I have nothing left to give but the pain that this world has inflicted upon me. You on the other hand...
Have everything to lose.
{Lex continues to hammer away as the scene fades to black.}
