Lex Sense: Do you seriously expect me to be worried now that you have decided to come out and play? Ok, maybe I'm a little worried but nothing I can't handle. You are nothing I can't handle. You want to talk about sacrifice you spoiled punk then you have to look no further than my life. What have you given up? A cushy job underneath the big boss man himself. Wow, what a bleeding tragedy. I don't know if I should feel sorry for you or angry. Then again I will do what I always do and not give a flying f*ck.
I am not intimidated by you Angel.
The times when I admired you and worshiped the ground you walked on have gone the way of the DoDo. Into extinction. When I look at you growl at me like some caged lion all I can do is laugh. Laugh at this situation. Laugh at your past. Laugh at your future.
Laugh at you.
You really think you stand a chance against me. True you have beaten great men but how long ago was that? You could barely hold your head up with that f*cked up neck boyo how do you expect to look up to me. Granted, there still may be a residue within you that will make you half the man you once were but half isn't nearly enough. I really wish this was two years ago and you were still in your prime because the way I sees it, your just a dried up old fool trying to relive his glory days. What's that? You haven't been retired for that long? In this business, a couple months away from it means you might as well stay away.
The spark of intensity has left you mate and all that remains is an old fool that thinks he could still hold his own against the youngsters of this generation.
It's come down to this my friend. This is the moment I've been waiting for. You are not the underdog here, ****, your not even a dog. You're more like a pussy cat and boy does this dog like to eat pussy. I am glad about one thing, It's truly satisfying to know that I was right about you. I knew that the moment this week began you were going to try and lure me into some false sense of security when you flinged that complimentary bullsh*t my way. Were you hoping I would bust my load on the first promo?
If you can't tell, I'm about to bust my load now all over your wrinkled face.
You should have listened to Leonard because he was right. I'm as dangerous as they come. I may not have gotten the victories that I wanted but I was still fresh. I was still learning. Unlike you I don't have a lifetime of a career to throw in your face. For you to compare your many years of experience to my few months here is absolutely absurd. You're right I've never been World Champion. I've never retired great men as you have but I'm still young and one day I will be able to claim the bullsh*t you now attempt to hold over my head. With every loss there was a lesson learned and I wont be so bold as to say that I am going to flat out demolish you but I will be bold when I say,... I can beat you.
Oh yes, I can beat you.
I had you scouted mate. I knew you were saving the best for last. Well guess what?
So was I.
{Sense steps out of the broiler room where he had been working on a special experiment. A weapon made of steel that he will utilize in hopes of gaining a solid victory over a certified legend. Lex has something wrapped in leather. What it actually is is anybody's guess. Sense removes his blacksmith apparel as he wipes the sweat from his face before making his way across his workshop to stand in front of a marble sculpture. Another of his pet projects, one that he's been working on for weeks.}
Lex Sense: "The Destruction of an Angel".
Lady Die: Is that what you are calling it?
{Lady comes and stands right next to him as she twirls her hair in her fingers. The sculpture itself is of an Angel, sitting on a throne and toasting the heavens with a glass of wine. Symbolizing an Angel's descent into darkness as he takes a drink of what GOD forbids.}
Lady Die: It's beautiful.
Lex Sense: It should be. It's molded after his illustrious career.
Lady Die: These obsessions you get with these guys can not be healthy.
Lex Sense: Is there anything in my life that is healthy?
Lady Die: Good point. So... how's Alice?
{Lady was mockingly asking Lex that question but the look on his says that he doesn't find it funny. He slowly turns his head to face a smirking Lady Die and he smiles. Trying to hide back the feelings he was truly feeling when it came to his ex wife.}
Lex Sense: Very funny.
Andrew Jacobsen: Are we almost done here? We have road to put behind us.
{Andrew came as if out of nowhere but he's been in the room all along. Waiting for Sense to pick up whatever gift wrapped surprise he has for Angel. A weapon that will surely turn heads.}
Lex Sense: Andrew, patience is a virtue. I haven't finished with this sculpture just yet.
Andrew Jacobsen: You know Angel seemed to be reverting back to his true self. Maybe you should be concentrating on the match ahead. We need the Young Guns to come out on top if we hope to continue dominating.
Lex Sense Always business with you. Take the time to enjoy the little things in life. Angle is about as ready as I am.
Lady Die: Oh poo! Lex will be ready when he's ready.
Andrew Jacobsen: I'm sorry. Was I talking to you?
{The young girl sticks her tongue out before skipping along as she studies some of Sense's paintings. She looks at one that appears to be a shirtless Steve Awesome making out with his own reflection. She moves on to another of Rob Diamond sucking his thumb and wearing a diaper. She skips along passing one with Knitely Bangs buried under a mountain of golden crowns. And she stops when she sees one that catches her attention.}
Lady Die: Ooh this one's provocative.
{Andrew moseys on over as his go wide.}
Andrew Jacobsen: Lex, you do have a good imagination.
{Lex turns his head to look at the oil painting they are admiring and he smiles a devilish smile. The painting is of one naked Kelly Knite laying on a bed of roses. Lifelike to the naked eye.}
Lex Sense: I'm not done with that one.
Lady Die: Really? And here I thought I was the only girl in your life.
Lex Sense: Well you thought wrong.
Lady Die: It was a joke dickhead.
{Andrew shakes it off as he forces his eyes away from the tight frame of Kelly and he walks over to stand next to Sense who is still eyeing the sculpture as if measuring it for something. It's beautifully sculpted in Angel's image and it looks finished but it seems Sense has one more idea in mind with it.}
Andrew Jacobsen: Why spend all this time making that?
Lady Die: Obsession?
Lex Sense: It's my way of studying my opponent. His movements, mannerisms, facial expressions all of this works to tell me exactly who he is.
Lady Die: I don't know. It's missing something.
Lex Sense: I know it is.
{Sense unwraps the leather that was encasing his special project and pulls out a Thorlike hammer. Only one end was smooth steel like a sledgehammer and the other was spiked like a mace. He rears it back before swinging it down, striking a certain point in the sculpture that breaks it into little pieces except form the head which remains perfectly in tact.}
Andrew Jacobsen: All that work for nothing.
Lex Sense: What are you talking about Andrew? Now it's perfect. Picture perfect.
{Sense reaches down and lifts the marble head and looks into it's stone eyes. Smiling from ear to ear as he imagines it actually being Angel. He tosses the head in the air before shattering it into hundreds of pieces with his hammer/mace.}
Lady Die: That was certainly thrilling. What do you call that?
{The cute British gal points to his newly created weapon as Lex holds it up to his shoulder. A perfectly forged steel that cannot be matched.}
Lex Sense: "Heaven's Fury".
{Andrew pats Lex in the back and Lady hugs him as both of them walk out of the room. Leaving Sense behind clutching "Heaven's Fury".}
Lex Sense: So here we are Angel. The final words on the subject and then we step into a match that could very well define and end my career in one brief moment. I'm excited. You are the epitome of everything that I want for my career. This isn't about being a beast or a monster. This is simply about being the best. There comes a time in everyone's life where the choices they have made either amount to something or end up blowing up in their faces. I gave up everything to be here and it wont be for nothing.
Life will go on after this match is over but it wont be easy for you because you will have to live with the fact that this person who has no idea who he is forced you on your knees.
{Sense kicks the rubble in front of him before looking up at the lens with a smile. A sign for Angel to ready himself to lie in ruins.}
Lex Sense: I am not some impressionable boy anymore. You are no longer my hero. Now the stakes have been drawn and it's either you or me that will be walking away from that ring. The other will be lying in a pool of their own blood. I'm ready for the pain to come and I cherish these little moments between us. This battle will mean the world to me. There will always be a special place in my heart for you Angel but the time has come to separate ties. To see who truly is the awe inspiring beacon of nCw. You were right, I have failed before but in my shortcomings I have drawn strength and I plan and showing you exactly what I've learned since my debut. I don't expect you to understand me but I will force you to bow down before me.
And when you look up at me with those begging eyes in search for mercy, I will crush you into hundreds of tiny pieces. Metaphorically speaking of course but in this match, anything is possible.
{Lex begins to carefully wrap his "Heaven's Fury" hammer/mace never skipping a beat as he continues to speak.}
Lex Sense: You'll excuse me if I don't feel a thing for what I'm about to put you through because frankly I am not doing anything you wouldn't do. We are both looking for the same thing in this match only I am going to be the first one to get it. By any mean means necessary. You held back on your true self long enough to try to pull one over on me but it isn't going down like that. I just want you to know that I meant every word I sent your way and unlike you I didn't use them in an attempt for you to lower your guard. That's the difference between you and I, I don't lie to my opponent in order to try to find something to use against them. I tell them the truth in spite of it. I know right from wrong just as much as the next guy, it just doesn't matter to me what kind of pain my actions will cause. They usually end up inflicting more pain on me then any of you anyways.
And this Sunday I plan to use that pain to send a fallen Angel back to the heavens.
There's no humor to what I'm saying. There's nothing pretty about it because there shouldn't be. This isn't some war of witty words and clever sayings. This is a battle between two warriors. One a grizzled vet and the other a relative newcomer. It's a tale as old as time itself and do you know how most tales that involve old facing young end?
They end with the Young Guns on top.
Do you want to know how I see you? No? Well I'm going to tell you anyways sucker. I see you, as a tyrant riding around on your high horse barking orders at the peasants to follow as if you know what's best for them. You only care about yourself and it doesn't matter who you hurt with your actions as long as it benefits you and yours. You tried to pull a wool over all our eyes when you interfered in me and mines business and now the end result to those actions will be dealt by my hand. Now that your career is over my friend. Now that you have been forced to retire from your post for being foolish enough to step in the ring with me. I am left with no choice but to add further insult to injury by ensuring you are sent out of that ring in a stretcher. Back to your loving family as a crippled seasoned veteran that should have stayed gone after he retired from the ring.
I have no choice but to break your f*cking neck.
But don't worry. I'm sure you'll have a legion of supporters screaming your name and giving you a standing ovation after it's all said and done. "THANK YOU ANGEL! THANK YOU ANGEL! THANK YOU ANGEL!" I could hear it now. At least you can look forward to that. Angel, you've had one hell of a career and nobody can take that away from you but this match will be history in the making. This match against me will define you as a human being and as a wrestler. I know, I think highly of myself as your opponent but so do you. This match was yours hands down but come Picture Perfect. This match becomes mine and nobody will be able to take that away from me.
Soon all of your past accomplishments will be overshadowed by my future accolades and there's not a G*Ddamn thing you could do to stop it.
So do me a favor, leave all of your family at home. Put away the pens and pencils and contracts. Take off that ridiculous tuxedo and put away your old man glasses. Shut your deceitful tongue up, keep your foolish opinions to yourself and meet me in the center of that cell on Sunday.
{Lex holds up his leather wrapped weapon and smiles as he bounces it in his hands.}
Lex Sense: Because I have a gift for you and I wouldn't want to miss the look on your face when I give it to you.
{Lex walks off screen for a few seconds before reappearing as he steps back into frame.}
Lex Sense: You were right about one other thing as well.
I am not going to stop until I get what I want and what I want is.... to clip an Angel's wings.
{Sense hits a switch and everything goes black.}
I am not intimidated by you Angel.
