Welcome fans, the NCW 4 Year Anniversary show was a tremendous success and once again it couldn't have been possible without your continued support that means a lot us, I promise. We are looking forward to making this company last a very long time, as long as you want us to be available.
I want to start off this column by saying a couple of things, sadly thanks to having a very busy week and being tired as hell from all the working on the anniversary show I will be making this edition of the Knitelife column a short one. I'm sorry fans, I know how you've come to know and love my in depth analysis and my riveting commentary but it just isn't happening this week, I'm, again, so sorry.
Last week's poll was a bit surprising, I mean, I enjoy seeing my man win some polls but I really figured that Steve versus Rob match was going to take that one away, and it finished way behind Adam versus BK and the Lex versus Angel matches. Good voting guys, I always enjoy a nice little surprise when I log in and check to see how the poll is going.
RECAP AND REVIEW
I said above, the four year show couldn't have been better in my eyes. We got a long word from Lance Ryan for one thing which of course makes any show better obviously. We had some great matches, the dream matches between Trent and Falcon and the Aces versus Dirty Deal were just frankly outstanding while big hitters like Adam versus Gib and Rob Diamond versus Chris Diamond were everything anybody could have hoped and more.
Other huge news is the crowning of a new World Starlets champion, which shocked the world because nobody saw the stripping of Zelda and the crowning of a new champion the same night coming. However the biggest two pieces of news has to be both Rob Diamond and Andrew Jacobsen walking out on NCW. Rob Diamond fed up with Leonard's tactics towards Zelda while Jacobsen gave up the guns. Yes fans that's right... Jacobsen threw in the towel and the Young Guns are finally no more in NCW. It was a good long run for the group that saw them win every single title in NCW at some point, but it has to come to an end sometime.
Overall everything was great this week and really enjoyable, It was a show to remember and fitting way to celebrate the long history of this federation.
THE FAB FIVE
5. ROB DIAMOND: Chris has been haunting Rob for a long time now, figuratively and literally been a huge thorn in his brother's side. It was great seeing Rob's face when he finally got that monkey off his back... until he quit.
4. ADAM KNITE: He defeated Gib in the main event, which is a feat on it's own but considering the past these two men have had this was a classic match for me and it was an amazing main event.
3. FALCON: People have always wanted to see Trent and Falcon square off and in what is possibly Trent's final match, he came out and gave everybody what they wanted to see. Falcon pulled it out in the end but it was a huge tribute to his historic career.
2. XAVIER WILLIAMS: That match was fantastic, so great, so amazing, so X-Division. Four of the best former champions tried for the chance to be the last and Xavier Williams came out and won the record breaking fourth X-Division champion.
1. ALYSSON GARDNER: Nobody saw it coming when she was handed the World title, so she won this fight without knowing that she was going to be the champion at the end of the night. She outlasted 14 other great NCW Starlets and now has the gold to prove she's the best right now in NCW.
PREDICTIONS
It's going to be hard to come off two shows like that and have a “normal” week of wrestling but that's what we are faced with here. We have some great matches and I'm looking forward to seeing them, should be a very interesting week without a doubt.
LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 7-6 : Ouch, not my best work.
OVERALL RECORD: 262-88 : Still a great overall job however.

CLOSING
:: It's going to be good to see Ricky Johnson finally getting a shot at the World title. He's held every other title in NCW (with the exception of the X Championship, but held both the titles that were made into it) and this could finally be what delivers him the Grand Slam.
:: It was great to see Lance Ryan on Collision, been way too long since he showed his face, NCW wouldn't be here without that man. Just to point out how great he is... Lance Ryan had one match last year, it won match of the year. That's awesome talent.
:: What is with everybody walking out on NCW? Is it the new “in” thing?
:: See Joe Everyman... that's what happens when you get big headed. You had a great win last year, one that everybody thought was some of your best work ever, and you think you can do it again, then fall flat on your face. Good job.
:: Seeing my husband wrestle the man I often call my “big brother” was certainly interesting, what I really found fun was Adam going old school on Gibby in his promos this week.
:: If you didn't watch Collision, make sure to watch the highlights on line, just to see Alysson Gardner's face when she was handed that title, it was a great moment.
Well fans, sorry again for making this short, I'm so sorry, but I just can't help it this week. I hope you enjoyed the show anyway and I'll be back again next week!
Until next time...
