{The scene begins in the waiting lobby, other than the hotel... Alex Jones can be seen sitting down in one of the chairs, and a few other people are sitting around reading some of the old magazines when a door creaks open. Seth Evans comes out of the door, with an older gentleman a few steps behind him.}
Seth Evans:
While walking out of the room, his back is to the gentleman, "I have one more question, doctor," he says, turning around this time to see if the psychiatrist is willing to answer the last question, and he just gets the response of a nod "Why does pizza and ice cream make a fat man so happy?"
{The psychiatrist is at a loss for words, but his mouth parts as if he wants to try and give an educated response... but he doesn't even know. The psychiatrist shrugs his shoulders, and shakes his head to Seth. Seth responds by nodding his head, knowing that he doesn't have an answer for the question and Alex Jones gets up from his chair to welcome Seth Evans back to the world of sanity.}
Alex Jones:
"How was your first session?"
{Both of them are walking for the exit.}
Seth Evans:
"The guy's a quack."
{This camera switches to a different angle, where another cameraman has picked up footage just outside of the office as both of them are walking for the staircase.}
Alex Jones:
"He didn't say anything about what might be going on in the minds of Curtis and Jackhammer?"
Seth Evans:
"Said that Jackhammer was just headbutting people way too often, and it made him stupid. He said the he doesn't have any explanation for Curtis Kanyon, and that he's just a faker... apparently, he's tried to get rid of DDK in the past, and has succeeded, but somehow DDK is still there." They reach the door, and Seth opens the door for his mentor, so Alex Jones is the first one through the door and Seth is a few steps behind him and both of them start descending the staircase. "In his professional opinion, he's faking it because he has some sort of mental disorder where it just makes him feel better about himself. Or he just wants attention."
{Seth and Alex stare at each other a moment, and simultaneously shrug their shoulders.}
Alex Jones:
"A whole lot of hoo-ha to me."
Seth Evans:
"Then why did you bring me here?"
Alex Jones:
"Just to get out for a bit, dude. Can't be cooped up at the hotel all day."
{Seth sighs, as they reach the bottom of the staircase and Alex Jones opens the door and is the first one through... Seth catches the door so that he can continue with his mentor.}
Alex Jones:
"Did you hear Curtis trying to make gay jokes at us?"
Seth Evans:
"Yeah, but that's why he can't win... I mean, the man hasn't matured at all since he began his career. It's the same jokes, the same story, the same crap. That's one thing I really didn't like about getting this match, because I knew that I'd just be hearing the same crap that he gives to everyone else..."
Alex Jones:
"There is one difference."
Seth Evans:
"Oh, there's finally someone facing him who's stupider than he is..."
{Both are out of the building, and walking towards the parking lot to where the rental car was parked.}
Alex Jones:
"I'm happy for him. He finally has a chance to feel smart."
Seth Evans:
"I guess... Where's Kiela?"
{Alex turns around to face Seth, and has a smile on his face.}
Alex Jones:
"Shelly took her shopping."
{A look of surprise comes to the face of Seth.}
Seth Evans:
"Dude, Shelly doesn't like anyone! We've got to rescue Kiela! QUICK! To the Seth Mobile!" He lifts his arm out, with his index finger extended as if he were some kind of super hero...
Alex Jones:
Blinking a little while watching Seth running for the car, he shakes his head a little... "It's a mustang! I won't have you tarnishing the good name of the Mustang."
{Scene fades.}

----------
You know...
It might sound crazy.
But Curtis. DDK. Whoever it is that's talking has a point! I have been in this business for years --- four years... That's not a very long time, really. Believe it or not, people still look at me and they don't see a crafty veteran. They don't see a man who has great ring awareness, knowing when I can use the ropes to conserve my energy... or when I have to kick out, just to continue struggling.
They don't see that.
It's that reason... that reason, alone, for why I have decided that it's time that I take a step back. I felt that I needed to get back to the start of things, and get myself back on track. Alex Jones offered his guidance to me, because he, too, wanted to see me succeed.
Curtis, DDK, I'm going to reference you both as separate people... because you kind of are... this is what you don't get. I strive to be the very best that this business has ever had to offer, I strive to be at the top of the mountain! I look up to people like Steve Awesome, Chris Docherty, Alex Jones, Adam Knite, Spike Kane, Angel, Falcon... all of them. I look up to them because they go out to that ring, give their best, and best of all --- they can do it all! They are the best that this business has to offer.
Competitive... that's what I am, and that's why when I hear about these people going into a match, I don't sit in the back and think: It should be me out in that ring, giving them the best match that they could ever have. I take it as an opportunity to watch the match, see what they do --- take notes --- and perfect it.
One thing in common between all of them, though, just one thing. They don't stop training. They never stop! Because they strive, like me, to be the very best that professional wrestling has to offer... they strive to retain their spot at the top of the mountain, and you should know that it is not an easy task to take any of them down from that mountain. Hell, I haven't accomplished that task on any of those men that I mentioned.
I've thrown people from the mountain, but never from the top.
I've ascended up the mountain, but never to the top.
The only way that I'm going to finally be able to accomplish my goals is by taking a step back... going to square one... figure out what it is that I'm doing wrong, and fix it. Stubborn as I am, I was smart enough to accept the help offered by someone who knows what they're doing, and is still ascending up that mountain... in fact, he's not very far from the top.
On top of that, this is one of the men that I named that I would love to have a match against. A man that I would love to have the task of tossing him from the mountain, and taking his place...
I know that I'm not ready to do that. Sorry, Alex, but you know how the business goes... one day, you and I will have to face each other in that ring, and I know that we'll give everything in that ring! When that day comes, there are two things that I hope for. I hope that I can give enough to impress you, and to open the eyes of every single wrestler sitting in the locker room. Let them see that I am that rising star, and they had best keep an eye on me. The other thing that I hope for is that; it'll be enough!
Like I said, I'm not ready... yet... I'm going to have to take everything that comes at me one step at a time, and that current step is Curtis Kanyon, and Jackhammer. Which is why I'm going to focus on both of you...
Jackhammer, I've already told you... until you can start getting your head straight, and sure of what match you're going in, I'm not going to address you. You haven't done that, therefore... you don't exist. I'm going to leave it at this with you: You won't beat me! End.
Curtis Kanyon and DDK, though, you have this belief that my weight disadvantage is going to go against me --- we both have our own strengths and weaknesses, but I don't want you to think that I'm going to drop easily, just because I might be harder to hit... believe me when I say that I can take a punch. Not only am I going to be moving quicker than you, Curtis, but I have this other thing over you. It's called my head, Frodo.
You might have the weight.
But not the reach.
That's going to be your downfall against Jackhammer, and against me... your height. Don't get me wrong, man, I think throughout all of your years in the business, you've taught yourself how to make your height not be as much of a factor. However, something you don't seem to know... is not to underestimate someone who might not be as strong, physically.
This isn't like the game of old, Curtis, this isn't the days of wrestling where power goes over speed, every single time... Just take a look at Steve Awesome and Alex Jones. Both strong inside of the ring, both both of them focus more on their technical and athleticism over their power --- this is the age that we're at, where guys like me... aren't buried by guys like you. This is the age where guys like me, dominate.
Am I taking anything away from you? Am I saying that you can't win? No. I think you have a fair chance, and I think you have the experience edge over both Jackhammer and I...
I have the speed factor, I have the athleticism factor, and... I have the mentality factor, seeing as you're both just crazy. Low self-esteem? I don't think that's my problem... I go out to that ring, and I know that I have as much of a chance to win as you do. Not only do I know the odds, but I know that I can --- win.
I've been saying it all week, and I'm going to say it just... one... more... time... I am going to win in this match, not because the training is done. I still have a lot to learn, I still have a lot of respect that I have to earn back... I still have an entire mountain to scale. Alex Jones helped me get my first victory back, and all I can do is keep that winning track going.
Respect goes a long way.
