I guess this is the part where I apologies to Ace. This must be the moment I realize how much of a dick I was to disrespect a former World Champion and good friend of the Current World Champion. This is the part where I back off and say that I didn't mean it, and I just want to go our separate ways. This is surely what I should do to avoid a possible three on one situation as he could call in his boys Bates and Awesome to come down and help make an example of me.
There's only one problem with that though, I'm the one whose the bully on this block, not Jake Conway.
I'm the one who goes around jumping people in the back when they show me disrespect. I'm one of the original founders of a group that took not one but two companies by storm. I'm the one who made his name by upstaging the bigger names around him so that they had to notice him. I'm the one who demands respect in this business, with or without friends to watch his back.

It's night out, but the scene is lit by the overhead lights. We look around and we can see an empty pool and towels residents of this lovely hotel. No one would be out swimming this late at night with a breeze like this, which is precisely why Venom is sitting here right now. He's leaned back in the poolside chair talking to seemingly no one, until you notice the blue tooth on his eye. The breeze blows up and ruffles his hair as we listen in on his conversation.
"Yeah, it worked. Training with you instead of the same scared kids and trainers NCW hires really helped. I felt almost one hundred percent."
Normally we wouldn't be able to hear the other side of the conversation if we were just ease dropping, but this is television.
"Perfect! If that means you need me to come on the road with you you know I'm down. I'll set up someone to cover the gym and it can be just like old times."
"No."
"What?!?! If it's working why not?"
"This isn't going to be like last time. This time I need to go it alone."
"What about all those guys with all there back up? You're eventually going to run into someone why doesn't play fair, someone like you."
"I know I will. Which is why I have to be here alone. You don't have to worry though. This business will never change. Once I start to reach the top again I won't even need to find partners and people to have my back, they'll find me."
"You really think so?"
"I know so. Get some rest man, I'll be flying down tomorrow night and first thing the next morning we're back at it again."
"See ya then."
Venom reaches up and clicks the button on the side of his blue tooth as the wind again rustles up and blows through his hair softly.

If that was the part where I apologies, then this must be the part where I bring up our brief past against each other and completely rip you on how naive you use to be. I'm sure you remember it as clear as I do, probably even clearer. It just might be the most humiliating moment of your career. It's three seconds that I can probably bring up and make your face turn red and your friends lose a little bit of respect for you over.
I'm not one to do what people expect of me though. For once in my life Ace, I'm going to leave the past in the past. For once in my life I'm going to wipe the slate clean and completely ignore our brief past or that you even existed in that company that I'm so closely associated with. For once in my life, I'm going to do the right thing and let you have a do over.
So where do we go from here then Ace? Our only history against each other is two single moments we had during a show a week ago. I disrespected you and then you disrespected me. You pretty much threatened my career by telling me there was no one to save me this time. You were right of course. Charlie, Doc, JFK, and even Zelda if she would have my back still, are all gone. I've even burned my bridges with all of my proteges that I had before I got hurt. All except Roberto Verona, but he's to busy doing what Andrew Jacobsen couldn't and be his own man. I couldn't possibly ask him to ignore all that and come align with me could I? Of course I could, but once again, I wont.
You see, I'm to proud of him to take him down from the top of the mountain he climbed all by himself. I'm proud of him like people were once proud of you Ace. Do you remember the moment? The time you rose up and finally tasted a World Championship here in NCW? Is that moment still the best moment of your career? I hope so, because if it is then you'll know exactly what I'm after and what I rushed back for. That moment.
You know I've had that moment before. I've had that moment at that place that people can't seem to stop associating me with. It's been a long time for me since I've had that moment, even longer then you. That's why I'm going to do things differently this time Ace. That's why this time I came in here to prove everyone that I still deserve to be the Main Event still. I rushed my rehab and showed you no respect because no one in the back has ever shown me any respect. They always have and always will look at me as an outsider that only came here because that other place is now just a piece of wresting history. What they don't know though Ace, is what you're about to learn first hand. I didn't come here because I didn't have anywhere better to go, I came here because this place, this company, is the only place left where I have people to prove something to. I will prove that I am, and always will be, the best in the world.
