They say time changes everything, well, some things just never change. If you need a good nap, just put on an Ace promo and it'll knock you right out.
I was really hoping that the years you've put into this business would have changed you, but some things just never do change. You're like that number one selling singer that can't understand why no one cheers at his concert as he sits there on stage motionless and sings the songs the same way they sound on the record. Everyone appreciates you when they watch the DVD or the YouTube clips of you in the ring, but then you get handed a mic and some air time and people are instantly bored to death.
Liven it up a little bit Ace. Make people want to listen to you. Make people think what you're saying is important, even though its not. Maybe you should juggle sticks that are on fire. That always catches my attention at the circus. You just need to do something.
Who am I to tell you what to do though? Maybe that's your whole plan. Maybe all this time that's been your grand plan. Maybe this has been your whole key to your minor success. You run on and on about whatever it is that you seem to think is important and your opponent is so bored out of there mind that they're more busy sleeping or attempting suicide that they don't have time to worry about facing you in the ring. Is that how you beat Jack Hammond for the World Championship? He finally had enough of trying to listen to you that he couldn't take it anymore and you just rolled him up like he never existed? I'll never really know for sure because I wasn't there and if you try to explain it to me, well, all I'll be to busy catching up and sleep.

Venom is dancing around in the gym with his hoodie pulled down covering most of his face. He takes a quick shot at the heavy back he's jumping around and then keeps moving. He sticks again and continues to move. He keeps going and going until he hears a voice behind him that stops him in his tracks. His training partner and one of his oldest friends stops him cold with the words that come out of his mouth.
"I thought you didn't need anyone's help up there."
Venom spins around and looks at his friend with a confused look on his face.
"Yeah, I don't. This time is going to be different. I told you all this already."
His buddy shakes his head in disappointment.
"I was there for you last time. Me and Greg were there when you needed us. We stood by your side when Charlie was completely out of his mind and coming for you. I could be there for you now."
"You are here for me, and here is right where I need you. You're acting like a woman right now J. Calm down."
Venom's long time friend shakes his head again.
"If you don't need anyone then why are you walking into Roberto's locker room and checking up on him? If you need someone you need to stick with real friends V, not those people who you barely know."
"You need to realize something J. I didn't walk into his locker room to make amends and restart the Guns. I walked in that room because he needed to know someone still had his back. I told you straight up I'm going to do this alone and I ment it. If you want that to mean I don't come here every week and get training from the only man left who can push me to be my very best then so be it."
"Alright bro, I believe you. It's just had doing all this training with you and knowing that it still might not be enough."
"You don't have anything to worry about. Ace might have friends, but they're not friends who are going to have his back. Bates and Steve have there own problems to worry about."
Venom turns his back on his friend who still looks distraught and annoyed that maybe he's being used by his friend. Venom returns to his training on the heavy bag.

I really want to do this like I use to. I really want to cut you down and use everything you said against you. I want to twist your own words and make you second guess everything that comes out of your mouth like I use to do in the past. I really want you to regret even requesting any TV time at all. The problem is, I can't seem to make it past your interesting little convo with Mr. Fox with needed a caffeine fix. Bravo on getting the match with whoever you wanted though. I don't know whose dick you've been sucking but I know whose your wife must be for you to get an opportunity like that.
I wonder what it would take for me to get an opportunity like that? I wonder if I'd have to pimp out my wife to get that kind of shot. That doesn't matter though because I sure as hell wouldn't waste that kind of opportunity on a guy like you. No, if I was given an opportunity like that I would be headlining battlegrounds instead of in the second match of the night. Like you're good gay friend Bates pointed out last week no matter how much I want to work my way back into the main event if I'm given the opportunity I will put myself there tomorrow.
That's my ego taking charge because I believe in myself more then anyone. You though, you seem to think only in ways of revenge. You wanted this match because I disrespected you. You wanted this match because when you were a rookie and I was World Champion I made a complete and utter fool of you. Now here you are the veteran and former World Champ in a completely different company and I'm the young kid that's barely pushing thirty and you're still out for revenge on me. You're choosing your spot in the second match on the show and being praised for the highest ratings on the web show while I'm using my speed and ring knowledge to upstage one of your best friends and working my way towards the top of the show. Interesting how things are going around here. Maybe your wife isn't blowing Mr. Fox. Maybe he just knows that if he gave you that opportunity that you'd blow it on something stupid.
This would normally be the part, like I mentioned earlier, where I make funny retorts about what you said in the rest of your promo and leave the jokes about your wive blowing the boss in the background. Like I said though, I couldn't sit and listen to you drone on and on with out snorting a line of coke, drinking ten red bulls, and then shooting caffeine straight into my veins. Since I don't do any of those three things I completely lost track of what you were saying and decided I would just turn the TV off and worry about it later. Honestly, what could you have said that had any effect on me anyway? It's not like anything you said is going to matter when you step into the ring with my on Sunday and you become just another Casualty for the second time in your illustrious career and probably not the last. Sunday nothing you've said leading up to it is going to change the simple fact that you're facing the best in the world.
