We open on Miranda, doing something on her laptop. The camera pulls out to reveal her sitting in the gym as Bushido and Dragon train. Dragon dismounts the rings as Bushido starts using a pommel horse.
Dragon: Ah, I see the press has arrived.
Miranda looks up.
Miranda: Oh, yeah, it seems that way. Sorry, I didn’t notice.
Dragon: You need to get your head in the game and focus on the task at hand, as Bushido and I have.
Miranda rolls her eyes. Kesuke runs up to Dragon and hands him a water bottle, then starts wiping the sweat off his glistening body.
Dragon: Hola NCW, it seems that the Internationals finally have a high profile match. A match a few months in the making. A match that should have happened already, but our two rivals believed themselves above us. Now Brad is trying to take it back, trying to gain sympathy from us, trying to throw us off our game. To try to get the fans on their side, because they have a “good excuse†for showing up to our match just to say we weren’t worth their time and walk away? Esto no trabajará. I refuse to fall for such a ruse, and the fact that those fans do, only proves further why they are in need of saving.
Bushido finishes with the horse and powders his hands before jumping onto the gymnastic bars.
Dragon: I’m not going to deny, Brad and Spike are two of the best wrestlers on the roster. However, instead of being known just for their wrestling, they’re known for all their crazy real life drama with their women and everything else. You see, that’s not what wrestling is about. Keep your home life at home. We are here to work and entertain. We are here to make wrestling the sport of kings it once was. Brad can say he respects the business, but this weekend, we will make him prove it. We will pull the greatness out of him and Spike. We will make them wrestle like they have never wrestled before. We will show the world that this business is meant to be great, and that the Internationals are saving it. American wrestling is bringing down wrestling everywhere else around the world.
Bushido makes a beautiful dismount, then hops up and grabs onto the hanging rings and starts his workout on those.
Dragon: Let us get one thing straight, we are not the idiotas the Kane's make us out to be. We may point out the flaws of the Estados Unidos, but we have never once called the Kane's Americans. Anyone with wrestling knowledge knows the Kanes are Irish, and that they do not help the stereotype. We know all about stereotypes and so we are not here to discuss such things, we are here to wrestle. We are here to make sure we get the high quality match we deserve. The Kane's believe we cannot "hang" with them, then let us prove you wrong. They need to come down to that ring and actually wrestle this time. But if they think for one second that they bring honor to this sport, let alone this company, then they need to step back and think about things for a second. Not only have both brothers now been known for kidnapping children, but one of them just got out of jail. This is not a place for jail birds, this is wrestling, not American football. However, Spike can continue to wrestle because of his accomplishments in NCW. Things he has earned. Things he fought for. He was rewarded for his effort. The Internationals would love to be rewarded for their effort, but when we are booked once a month, it's very hard to earn anything. This match, this is starting to earn accomplishments, and because of the way this company works, it's a shame that this is the way we must go about it, but force seems to be the only thing this American wrestling company understands. But the Kanes need not worry about and underhanded tactics from us, however they should worry about not relying on theirs either.
Bushido lets go of the rings and lands on the mat below. Then Kesuke runs over to give him water and dry off his sweat.
Dragon: There will not be hardcore, there will not be extreme, this will be a straight up wrestling match. We will not fall for their parlor tricks and their head games. This will have honor and glory, whether our opponents like it or not. These perros seem to think that we have nothing to gain by winning this match? Are they really so idiotic? We guerreros are on our way to the belts. Those two are our stepping stone to greatness, for that they should feel honored. We are no longer waiting to be noticed for our greatness, we are pushing our way into the spotlight, where we belong. Not because we are vain, but because we are tired of waiting to be where we deserve to be. It is our destiny.
Bushido walks up and stands next to Dragon, nodding in approval. Miranda keeps typing away. The scene fades out.
