{Lex stands under a darkened sky alone. Only the visions and hallucinations in his head to keep him company. He stares out into the fog that came with the rising of the midnight moon. Intrigued by this fog that seemingly works to take the shape of those Lex has betrayed in his life.}
Lex Sense: Ricky, I don't share Jimmy's sentiments. I believe that you winning the title would do great things for the future of nCw. I think it's time the guard changed. I believe the future is now and these so called main eventers should be put to rest. You make some valid points about the state of things around here. Even if these haters refuse to accept your accurate descriptions of them.
Yes, I wouldn't mind if you won.
Awesome, there really is nothing wrong with you except for the company you keep but you have to admit... Your style has grown bland and your promos have become stale. You're still as sexy as you've ever been, no homo, but you are not the best around. You're a fan favorite with friends in high places which is the reason you're wearing that belt around your waist. You're a fan favorite. A man with many followers.
All dumbfounded groupies but nonetheless, your fame remains in tact.
I respect and appreciate how you came around to being so high up the ladder around here but the time has come to step aside and allow some change to bestow these hallowed halls. How long have you been running things around here? How much farther do you want this company to drop? As it stands, nCw is tearing at it's seems because of people like you.
The people that only show up when it matters.
Yes, I wouldn't mind if Ricky won simply because I want you to lose.
{A shadow appears within the fog as footsteps echo around the lonely street. Sense pulls down his hood and straightens up. He stares at the figure as it emerges from the mist. The shadow taking form before his very eyes and he quickly recognizes the man. The man that shares the same face as his. His deceased brother now stands before him.}
Brother: So you finally lost it brother?
Lex Sense: I didn't have it to begin with.
Brother: But you're wrong Lex. You had it all. A blossoming career, a lovely wife, kids on the way. Our father finally believed that you could live a normal life. You had it all and you blew it away.
Lex Sense: Not by choice.
Brother: Why? Because you accidentally took my life? You need to see it for what it was and realize for yourself that there's always a choice baby brother.
Lex Sense: There's nothing to realize. There's nothing out there. Not for me... And you know I hate it when you do that.
Brother: Do what baby brother?
Lex Sense: Don't call me ba...
{Sense shoots an angry look at his brother to find he's nowhere to be seen. Quickly vanishing as quick as he came. Now a new figure stands before him.}
Lex Sense: Then there's Andrew. You know Jacobsen, I forgive you. Your ignorance got the better of you. It's not your fault that you've allowed yourself to be manipulated into becoming INfamous' third wheel. You're only doing what you think is best for your career and I can't blame you.
Although you are making a fool out of yourself I can respect you taking the opportunity to recover after your failure as a leader.
I'm not going to sit here and list all the reasons why I believe I'm better than you because I know you already know them. You are one hell of a competitor inside that ring but let's be honest, every single time we sparred, you were the one on the receiving end of an ass kicking. The past dictates that in the future history will repeat itself, Jacobsen, so...
I see failure on the horizon of your so called bright future.
{Standing in his brother's place is someone he didn't expect to see. Someone who he helped in creating life. His former love and the mother of his daughters.}
Alice: Are you seeing things again?
Lex Sense: ...
{Suddenly, the fog quickly dissipates. The darkness turns to light. Sense is no longer standing in an empty street. The eery calm suddenly vanishes and turns into sadness as Sense now stands in an empty house. Everything up to this point was seen through Sense's eyes and now the illusions fall to the sound of his ex wife's voice. The truth seemingly being less dark and more depressing. The scene pauses as Sense steps right up to Alice. She does not move an inch as he stares down into her eyes.}
Lex Sense: I have spent years trying to forget things that I purposefully forgot. Things that made my mental stability an impossible feat. Things that would make any husband, father, man, rightfully hate me. Things that made me despise myself.
Things that you Rob Diamond have spent the last couple of weeks throwing in my face.
You and I have gone to war before. To the masses it may have looked like just another match but to me, and maybe even you, it was something much more. It was the beginning of a great feud. You’re a man whose accolades speak for themselves. You’ve taken men and turned them into blundering idiots. You’ve held more titles than most men on this roster. You have multiple wins over me and I have yet to gain one... But through all your accomplishments you still remain the same insecure fool that tried to end it all prematurely not so long ago.
Deep down inside you are still just a dim witted fool.
Inside me you’ll find the same dark soul left to rot in a prison cell. The same empty husk that spent his nights wondering about a life that never got to see the light of day.
Standing next to all your glory my accomplishments may seem miniscule but I’m still a champion and you’re still a chump. More importantly, I’m still the man that took your mentor and teacher and sent his ass packing in search of a perfect way to make a quick recovery.
And I liked Angel. Imagine what I am willing to do to someone I respect less than Joe Everyman’s hamster. Imagine what I’m willing to do to someone I hate more than I hate myself.
You’ve spent the last couple of weeks trying to make me regret what I did to Angel and quite frankly you’ve wasted your time. Throwing my own mistakes at me is not going to do anything but force me to try and cripple you even more. My family was never going to be a part of this life for one simple reason.
I didn’t want them to be in it.
I can't force myself to care when my soul is indifferent and unaffected by love.
Yet you made it a point to throw them in my face like I was a clown and they were the pie just so you could get your laughs in. I threatened your mother and father and you just simply scoffed at the idea. Shows how much you care for the ones that created you.
The more you look at it the more you should realize how much of an asshole you really are.
I’m supposed to be the bad guy here but you’re the one acting like a villain just to prove that I’m something I never denied being in the first place. All this time I’ve been acting like myself while you became… the actor. Acting the part to get a rise out of me.
You’re too selfish to realize exactly how badly you f*cked up this time and it will be my pleasure to teach you a thing or two about regret.
{The scene still remains paused as this promo fades to black.}
