Ok, it's about time this got out in the open and was said... I'm sick and tired of hearing or hearing about somebody complaining about the "staff roleplayers."
You want to know why the people on staff win a lot of matches? It's because they were very good roleplayers BEFORE they were asked to help me out as a member of staff!
I think it's ridiculous that you expect me and the other staff members who bust our ass for this place to sit back and just be your match writing monkey slaves whose only purpose here should be to read every one of your RPs every week and lose to you when we have matches.
I'm disgusted that a lot of you are so insecure that you have to make idiotic excuses to explain your own shortcomings as an RPer and I won't allow you any longer to tear down the name and reputation of my staff with your petty little arguments.
Without the members of staff this place would be dead because I can not do it alone, without those staff members working hard on matches and writing RPs every week there would be no NCW, do you understand that? Do you fathom that? Do you care? Probably not as long as you were winning right?
This thread right here is your one and only chance to air any issues that you have about this fed or how it's ran. Ask a question, get an answer, state an opinion... get a rebuttal. This is your last chance to state any problem you have because after this moment if I hear a single word about one of you complaining about the staff... you're gone. The end.
If you choose not to participate here I'm going to assume everything is fine and dandy on your end and we have no problems. If you want to leave... go I'm not going to beg anybody to stay, never have, never will but either way this is going to be the end of this whining over the staff, got it?
Note: No staff members reply to this thread.

I will be the first to admit that I have made that accusation on more than one occasion. Sometimes it can seem that way when you look at things from another perspective.
From my personal point of view is that there have been times that I have felt I was unfairly judged or unfairly held back because of stupid decisions I made in the past or personal arguments I have had with various members of staff. What I did with NMW was wrong, and I have owned that, however to have it thrown in my face and constantly reminded of those mistakes can take a toll on you. When the people making those comments and jabs also happen to be on staff, you might see where the wrong impression is given.
Sometimes its chalked up to joking or teasing, but in the back of your mind, it's there. It's all about perception. Just sayin.
I have also been told that I have to "pay the price" for my mistakes in the past. If that doesn't give someone the impression that you are basically being given the shaft as punishment, then I don't know what the hell else it would mean.
Now, I know this wasn't posted because of me, but if its about Gib/Xander winning RTTG, I will say right now that Gib is probably the best writer in NCW. PERIOD. Hell, he is probably the best writer I have ever come across in 12 years of efedding. That's the absolute truth. I lost to him in the tournament because I knew from the moment I saw the card that I couldn't beat him. Not because he was staff, but because he is that good and no matter what I wrote, it wouldn't be good enough to win.
Anyway, I am sure nobody else will post to this outside of Adam. But hey, I have never been the one for keeping with the status quo have I?
Just my two cents....

I think Adam nailed it on the head. Our staff members are some pretty beast writers. There isn't much reason otherwise to say anything different. That's the challenge. If you want to win you have to beat the best. Not just once, but everytime you can muster the thought and words to do it. I like to think I have the same real world mind set as Freakke does. I want the challenge. I want the competition. It makes you better. Otherwise I'd go back to writing short stories no ones ever gonna read.
I probably have the worst record for a non joke character and I'm still here. I think its fairly earned. There's a lot of good writers here. The people who write the best, contribute the most, and don't disappear every so often, they become staff. They know whats what and how to write the good stuff.
The only way to win here is to constantly get better at writing. If you don't you get left behind with the rest of us Jobbers.

This issue has really been an issue for as long as there has been efeds. Honestly, I will state that the staff here have always won a lot of matches, it happened when I was staff here and it happens now, but frankly Adam is 100% right. In nCw the staff have often been made up of the best roleplayers because Adam brings in the best writers and the people that are good at this game often care the most.
Also, generally good roleplaying equates to good match writing etc.
Just my food for thought.

I have to admit that I had that thought gone through my mind here and other efeds. But if you want to be a champion then step up to the plate and do your best at rping.
Staff here has a lot on their plate. To be able to write some awesome rps and to do staff stuff takes a lot of time.
Like they say in real life....if you want to be the best then beat the best.
The thing is having fun is what counts.
A wise guy ( a couple of guys) told me once that it is not about winning or losing...its about having fun. ( believe it was a couple of nCw staff that told me that) It might have took me a while to come around to that thinking.

I've taken a few bumps and scrapes from staff, but you know what, win or lose, those were my best matches, period. They DRIVE me to do better. So if they win, so what. If they are champs, so what. It's just bragging rights, it's no big deal to lose something like this. It really is often more about having fun, and when you have fun, it shows. I've read rps from people in different moods...their ****tiest have been when they were forced rather than enjoyed. That INCLUDES myself.
I honestly don't have any problems with staff, except the embarassment I get when Ed proclaims his love to me on Facebook where the world can see. But that's about it, I enjoy talking to you guys when I do, and rarely bring up problems because, to be honest, I really don't have many...at least not here, mine are life problems that nobody here can do much about or help me out with except for being an ear to my ranting (and for those who are staff/not who have been there to listen to me about my life, thanks. I mean that.)
I won't point fingers and say who I've heard bicker about it in a non-joking manner with intents to either leave nCw or "wage war" against staff over the three years, everyone really knows who is who around here.
Though JFK (I guess because he wanted to throw his name in the hat for his idea I dunno) has a good point with outsiders/former rpers taking on more staff roles, but that idea also won't work so much because a lot of people who left, did it due to lack of time or drive, and definitely wouldn't want to write matches or judge.
That's my speil, and Adam, I'll say it again, you're probably one of the best damn fed runners I've ever encountered, whether I agree with everything you say or do or not, I do believe you're either tied for first or first in my book, and also a damn good rper besides. So you all need to be acknowledged, and I'll just take a second to say thanks.

I have been in a few feds over the years and i very rarely complain or moan about results or the use of characters. And this is one place where i don't complain about anything, but i did have one gripe about how PoP were portrayed in a tag match against either BWA or Opportunity and instead of bitching at the writer or even complaining to Adam, i just vented a little in a rp.
That is the only time i've had issues.
People have to realise that in many feds there is cliques where people who run the feds only give title shots to their close friends - i know of this from my time in Ring of Beauty. However, here everyone gets chances.
I have never been a staff member ever in any fed that i've been in, but i do offer my help in writing matches even if im not a staff member.
Everyone here has their place whether its a staff member, someone who tries hard or someone who just goes with the flow.
If you don't like being here the go, find somewhere else.

I'm on my way out the staff door mostly because I'm out of free time which isn't a secret to those who know me a little more personally. Life is hard and it beats down on you and when your having a bad day already it's hard to see you lost a pretend match in a fantasy wrestling fed. Trust me, I've had a few blow ups over the years, even said some of the same things some of you have said but when I sit back and take a look I realize I was wrong. Through pretty much all of its incarnations the staff has been one of the most fair I have encountered or worked with. However with this being a thread about gripes, Adam, my man, my only gripe is you need to take a step back and relax. You have been fully invested in ncw for five long years and it is atleast evident to me that your burning out. I feel like more and more your fighting with people where you used to talk to them. I'm not saying step down, I'm saying take a month or two and just be a passive observer and relax. Refuel. And return.

Now saying that the staff may not have been a bit biased a few times because of the word of mouth of your complaining and accusations, that is a different matter. That's what "pay the price" meant, it meant you had to work through that stigma, and trust me when you had every staff member was praising you for the way you dedicated yourself to rising above the moniker of the complainer... however when you fell back into those habits people tended to felt stabbed in the back for trusting you. I'm not saying that we may have misjudged you deliberately, just that it is always something stuck in the back of your mind when you're judging a match where somebody in it has thrown a lot of verbal barbs about you behind your back.

I wish everybody could see the staff board (Which I'm sure Lance could point out) where we numerous times have talked about coming up with angles or title contenders and we've used the qualifier "...who isn't on staff" or how many times we've said "who can challenge for ____ title that isn't a staff member." I know a lot of people want to point out that our first two champions were staff members in Lance and Spike, but don't ever bother to know that Lance won the title before he became Staff and Spike had already established himself as a top tier RPer before doing so as well. I was left alone when Shaun abandoned the place and had to have help. That's what started the bringing in the top guys to help me out trend. Now where would this fed be right now if I would have brought in the lower tier RPers to give me a hand? Does anybody think it would have the same quality of written matches and angle ideas? I'm pretty sure it would be a shell of NCW if it even got to this point.

Everybody gets down after loses, everybody at one point or another has done or said something that they realized later wasn't the best of ideas. It's mainly just a matter I'm fed up with this "rumor" or whatever you want to call it just constantly being thrown around every month when somebody loses a "big match". It's grating, annoying, and honestly it wears on you. I'm going to be honest, I have wanted to close this fed for the past year because of it. That's right... I've been forcing myself to continue this fed every week, I've wanted to stop, I've wanted to quit, but I keep it going because I feel an obligation to all the RPers here and I don't want to let anybody down.... but then I get stuff like this thrown in my face or towards my staff who help me keep going, and it hurts and you just want to put an end to it. Maybe I overreacted here, but it's frustrating that I'm supposed to let everybody rag on me and tear me down and smile about it, but when I try and defend myself or my staff I get told I have a bad attitude or that I have a defensive personality.

I have absolutely no problem with how you run NCW Adam, nor with whomever you choose to have as staff members.
I genuinelly never felt there is any kind of bias towards staff members, and I have faced a few and tbh I believe my general record against them has been fairly poor but people need to look at the bigger picture when they feel a bit victimised.
Within around 5 months of being here I am a former X-Champion and a current National Champion, when I lost the X-Championship I ended up with the National title a month later. Maybe it is different for me but I don't feel I have been held back, if anything I am quite flattered at the faith staff has had in me to give me a shot with the "second big one" so soon and I've never felt like I have no chance against a staffer.
If I lose to them, I lose to them. Nevermind, I just look at it and remind myself that if I keep doing what I am doing then in the future I am sure I will end up beating them by learning whatever I need to from each defeat. Ultimately it is a game and if you're not having fun then there is no point in my eyes being here. You get what you put in and you get the chances you deserve, however harsh that may sound. If you show up week in, week out and you improve yourself and learn you'll get shots, I have and I have barely spoken to anybody on here until recently so it is hardly favourtism.
It is easy to blame people out of frustration, but my advice is to not take it out on the people who do such a good job every week, for free just for our enjoyment. They do lose from time to time and you have to look at the bigger picture here, you may lose one week but a month later maybe you'll be a champion?
And no offence intended to you Adam, but I agree with Angel/Rob, you have come across as abrasive recently but don't take this the wrong way, I appreciate that it is because of everything you've had to put up with so it isn't an issue with you, I do agree that you perhaps need to step back a little and let others help you out more so you can take a well deserved break and avoid burning out and come back refreshed. This place would be a hell of a lot worse off without you.

I think most of it is just like I said above, it's been going around so freaking long that it's really become something more than just the annoying "he needs to stop whining" shtick, because now it's become the token excuse anytime anybody loses a match they feel was important and they should have won. There are even staff members who have done it. See the reason people find it hard to accept the fact they lost is because they take pride in their work. It's something they feel strongly about. Well guess what I have a lot of pride in NCW. The fed is going on five years, we're about to have our FIFTH Road to the Gold show, I have a lot of pride about what we've all been able to accomplish and I consider the people on my staff both friends and hard workers for me. To see somebody try and tear down what I've worked so hard on to put together, to see somebody rip on and insult my friends who have been putting in a huge amount of work to help this place stay together... It's just grating and makes you lose all motivation.

As I said above and Roxxx here is right, we've ALWAYS tried to give everybody an equal chance to succeed. So many times we've said we have to come up with a contender or challenger and made sure that we picked somebody who wasn't on staff, and a lot of times that person has bailed on us or let us down after we've given them a shot. I can point at Cameron Corvis and Chuck Moss off the top of my head here. Which is another reason it seems that the staff wins a lot... it's because we're here a lot, we have to be, we're on staff and seldom do the staff members quit the place, except Spike... (had to throw in a joke somewhere). Roleplaying helps to make the staff duties easier in the fact you want to help the fed get better and you want to see people improve.

I'm not saying step down, I'm saying take a month or two and just be a passive observer and relax. Refuel. And return. I've tried it, it never seems to work out for me. I've basically taken the past couple of months off by doing the bare minimum work required of me for the place (including barely RPing) and it just seems the more I slack the more other things didn't get done, that's why I had that blow up that one PPV night because it was 9pm and I had like 4 matches in, and two of them didn't have commentary. This whole ordeal isn't a one time thing, it wasn't about what one person said or did. It was about the whole stupid stigma in general because it needed to be put to an end. That's what is wearing me down about running a fed, it isn't the match writing or the reading RPs, it's putting in all the work and it getting thrown back in your face. I've never cared if people griped or complained or even vented, in fact I often encouraged that it be done to me so that it could be worked out and talked about. Was I nicer before? Yeah, I've noticed I've become more agitated as well, but it's a product of all the times somebody has came to me and basically insulted me and quit because of the "staff bias" so and so was talking about being true. It's a slap in the face very single time it's happened, and until now I've always taken it and moved on, it's just gotten to the point of being ridiculous and I've gotten to a point where I no longer have any desire to tolerate it. Like I said, you add that to the fact that I've wanted to drop this place for well over a year now and have just been fighting through that urge and you can clearly see where I've just finally blew up and stopped playing nice to the people who have no desire to give me that respect either. I'm positive that somebody right now is probably saying to themselves that a true boss or person in a position of power would be able to handle that kind of pressure, but I'm not a real boss here... this is a hobby that I enjoyed for a long time, and am quickly coming to a point where I do not do so anymore because of all the grating whining and complaining. It's the reason why Adam has pretty much been shelved, it's the reason why threw Zelda away, it's becoming bad enough that there are times/days where I just refuse to talk to anybody about anything efed related. I've jumped on people on AIM or Xboxlive just for mentioning the words "e-fed" to me.... that's how hurt/insulted/aggravated by all of this I am. Would I love to take a break from efedding all together? I'd love it, but I also know if I did, I'd never come back.

We've constantly talked about how Verona needed to go further how he needed to do more because his RPs are so good. He's also the perfect example of somebody that I would ask to be on staff right now if we needed more help. Right now as of this moment I don't think a single person would complain about any kind of bias or favoritism if they lost to Verona. However, lets just say I made you staff, I guarantee in a month somebody would whine about the staff bias if you won, say the Riot Match. I think that's what gets me the most about all of this it's so illogical. If somebody is a great RPer, they are a great RPer staff or not.

I see where your coming from Adam and have found myself more or less in a similar situation. I've wanted to walk away from e-fedding for the better part of the last year but not because of anything fed related. I'm sorry I dropped the ball these last 8 months and basically bailed on the staff but I think you understand why I couldn't put my heart in it anymore. I want ncw to stick around with the same level of role playing we've had for five years. I don't know if this will help qualm anyone's complaints but I have always kept a close watch on voting and all that and I promise you if I even smelled something fishy and brought it to Adam, most times that person was already off staff before we even talked. Adam works hard, we all do together, and we need to continue to so we always have ncw to play in.

Without the members of staff this place would be dead because I can not do it alone, without those staff members working hard on matches and writing RPs every week there would be no NCW, do you understand that? I fully understand that concept but in the same token it's not just the staff that makes NCW go on it's the roleplayers as well. It's a two way street and it should always be viewed as such. Staff help get things going organized and etc, but at the same token the roleplayers are your core. They are the target and make up the majority, so if everything is really directed towards the will of the roleplayers than there is no ill will from my part. I know for a fact I would like to see Rpers having more of a say in the fed more than just a Nothing to Lose PPV. In what way IDK but just little things would be good. The staff members roleplaying don't make me upset, hell i give u credit alot of you guys are just good.... well except mark he is just a jerk... a lazy jerk who knows that Cloud and SEPH are the BEST FF CHARACTERS EVA! but in all seriousness you guys are good... you all have great drives to rp... notably Gib especially who is pumped up busting his ass and encouraging me at the same time, that i respect alot... for you to write rps and get the fed going, its straight kudos... And Adam I know I was mad I lost to Kelly but it's not because you are "staff" but it was because the things you said were good and i even told you that night... people need to chill the **** out relax change their tampons and calm it down... Staff are just as equal as we are except they go above and beyond... if anything the thing that really bothers me are the pieces of **** who like to criticize your hard work and laugh it off thinking it's funny, and that isn't even from the staff point, thats from the regular roleplaying population... other than that as long as everything is centered around the rpers it's cool on my end.... but if someone shows signs of working hard they get rewarded staff or not... end of discussion.

Yeah, there's no bias here. I don't know how many times I had to deal with people coming to me while I was on staff and trying to say there was while I was bias. It's just not true. ces de I'm like...the perfect example of staff giving somebody multiple chances despite blowing the fact that I made a habit of blowing them (Chances, not the staff). There is room for advancement. You can beat staff, you just have to be better than them for at least 1 week. It's easier said than done.
When it comes down to it, the best RPers win and get the opportunities.

Well, anyway, since we have this opportunity to voice our concerns here, I think I'll add my two cents. I was under the impression that we were all getting along here. I was wrong, apparently. Now, granted, this is one of my favourites places to RP, but I must admit that I, too, have had my share of questionable losses. But then when I think about it, maybe it's not you, it's me. Some see the glass half empty, some see it half full. Some can't see it at all. I say that's one big glass. It's bad enough when one of Adam's beloved characters was forced to retire because "she was winning too much", but now this? *Sighs* Why don't we put up a banner now that reads,"If Kelly Knite wins this Sunday, we riot!" while we're at it. Look, Adam, we are well aware that NCW wouldn't even be here without you or the staff you've appointed, and we the RPers would be elsewhere right now. The same could be said if you decided to hit that delete button, and the fed would be gone. Poof, just like that. Of course, I can't get inside your head, Adam, but I couldn't really see you doing something like that. That's why I'm glad you've taken this avenue to have we the RPers air our grievances, as the case may be. But I think this situation is a lesson that no matter what you do, you just can't please everybody, though that is what you're trying to do, because you have our best interest at heart. The same can be said for the staff members. Having Zelda walk away was a tough call to make, but it seems as if this was a mere band-aid to a much bigger wound. The phrase, "it's just a game" just doesn't apply to some people. They want to win. Even when it comes to... It really just comes to that, you know. Thing is, real people are playing this game, and perhaps there's a few who can't stand the sight of losing, especially to the memebers of staff, who are obviously the totem pole of the fed. We've heard the saying already: in order to be the best you've got to beat the best. But what happens when your best simply isn't good enough? So, let's go over the judging criteria here in the fed, shall we? "Unforseen factors". Okay, I'm writing this down. Now, can someone please explain to me what those "unforseen factors" are? And more importantly, does this ruling still apply? Or would it need further explanation? Recently, I finished reading Animal Farm. You may have heard of it. Now, you remember Boxer, don't you? The loyal, kind, dedicated, and respectable horse on the Manor Farm? Yeah. In a way, he leaves a favourable quote in that book that I apply to my RPing: ""I will work harder". And that's all I could ever do if I want to improve here in NCW. That's my thoughts on the matter.

I've read through all of this, and I have these things to say.
Give Joe a World Championship storyline for a month.
Put me back on staff.
Adam, please stop being a dick to me all the time when I do something "wrong" or have a different opinion than you.
That last one is legitimate... although, the first two are to me, but not to anybody else <.< Adam, don't get me wrong, I do very much respect you. You're easily the best person I've ever known to run something like this. That being said, there's a lot of nCw that I hate. Mostly the people, because it seems like everyone always jumps on me like a damn bandwagon every time I say anything. I could say hello on the chat box and get my **** pushed in for a half hour. I've honestly thought about quitting nCw, in fact, I've thought about it a lot, but I knew I would let myself down, and possibly even you down too. I've been here longer than nearly everyone, and I've never taken too big of a time off for anything, and I still get treated like I'm some new guy. I know you've given me shot after shot, and sure, I **** up, but I'll get it done one of these days. I had to vent this stuff, because it seems like that's what you wanted; the truth.
Those things aside, nCw is the best place for e-fedding, and it's all thanks to you, Adam. I know you got through a lot of **** every week to keep this place in tip-top shape, and we all very much appreciate you for all of it. We come here to have fun, and for the most part it seems, everyone does. But as the owner, you need to have fun too. I feel like I just need to copy what everybody else said, because I think by now you get the point of everything, but I thought I would say it too. We all love you Adam, you're like the uncle that always sends the best presents on Christmas. I don't want to just say negatives things about you, cause that's not how I see you. You're a good guy, and an even better owner. If you have to write a bunch of RPs every week and still do the shows to feel satisfied, do that. If you have to take a few weeks off and just do the bare minimum, do that. If you have to bust some skulls, bust some ****ing skulls, just as long as you are happy with what you're putting out there.
That's all I have to say, take it for what you will.

*puts up "If Kelly Knite wins this Sunday, we riot!" banner*
*realizes he dislikes Shelly and loves Kelly, takes it down*
I'm certainly nobody who has any right to act offended when this sort of thing happens. I was probably the guy that bitched the loudest and longest about Zelda. Hell, I was the one that coined Zeldaberg. But honestly, what people have said has been right. You don't get to the top in this fed without being the best of the best of the mothersmurfing best. Guys like Ed and Adam win all the time? Yeah, because they're ***damn amazing at what they do.
Have I thought some decisions and results were crap? Yeah, of course. I still do every once in a while. But I'm not on staff anymore for a reason. I can testify to the fact that we put in effort to make sure we could push guys that weren't on staff. Hell, working against the idea of an all-staff title scene was a challenge. I'm not perfect, but I'd ask people to think of it from the staff's point of view before the complaints start flying.

I have been e fedding for about 10 years almost straight without a break at all. I have been in quite a lot of feds and all of them have closed down after a year maybe 2 years tops, this is the first fed that I have been in that has lasted longer then 2 years straight. Yea many people get frustrated when they lose espically when they thought that their rps did better then the other guy. Mean hell I've gotten a little frustrated when I lost but like other people say it's just a game and it's meant to be fun. Yea I have walked away from the NCW a couple times here and there and several of us here have but seems a lot of us manage to come back at some point. In the 10 year time that I have fedded I have met many people over the time and several of the guys that I have met and gotten to know some are in fact here in the NCW. I come back cause I like it here, like that there are lots of people here who are good rpers and that there are a few that I have known for a few years.

I don't want to voice an opinion on this matter as I've not been around as of late... but I wanted to add one thing.
I'm not around because I don't have the motivation to write. And I've always sucked at match writing in my opinion. But if you ever wanted to take JFK's idea of the outside, non-active community member to join the voting team.. I'd happily volunteer. I'd be happy to do whatever for nCw if I could. Just happens that there's not a whole lot that I can right now. Plus, as far as I'm aware, there's no one in this place who could accuse me of bias... or should accuse anyone in my opinion.

Thank you and I think RV is a good example of what we on staff go through in our process. First of all, thank you for all the faith the staff has had in me. I think the problem stems from just general frustration and a pattern that is rife everywhere. When something goes wrong it is very easy, in fact very tempting, to blame "the power" because ultimately they determine what does and does not happen so they in turn are first to take the proverbial bullet so to speak. When you're mad it is very, very easy to just blame the staff because they chose who won and who lost, so naturally people lash out. I genuinelly don't think there is a huge malice involved and whenpeople cool down I think on the most part they realise they were very foolish and hopefully apologise. The problem is that people tend to forget behind "Leonard Fox" and "Wes Fox" etc is a human being who has feelings, personal problems from time to time and has to hear these grievences from several different sources which is obviously, after time, going to take its toll which is what has happened here. You are of course here to listen to peoples concerns, but at the same time it isn't carte blanche to lay into you purely because you're staff. Of course you pick the winners, it is the only fair system and really the only realistic one, we can't all vote or else we will have accusations of "factions" and "personal problems" affecting victories, ultimately whatever you do there is always a way to complain about it. I hope this all gets sorted out, NCW is very special and I am sure we'd all be sad if it disappeared over anything like this.

what this amounts to for me anyway is that we don't live in a perfect world. In a perfect world we all would be champion and have the greatest RPs and live in a wonderfull Utopia...unicorns and rainbows and everything is just dandy.
But we don't and frankly people are going to win and people are going to lose. Its just the facts of life. Even though I think of myself as a decent RP'er I have to face facts that I have great competition here and frankly I wouldn't have it any other way.
Before I came to NCW I had RP'd off and on in many other feds. A lot of them sucked to be honest because of the staff. The staff were constantly late with results and relatively unresponsive unless it mattered to them. There was bickering and infighting among the staff as well as bias even though the staff generally sucked in their writing. And of course there were efeds that fell apart at the drop of a dime and I am sure you get the story I am telling since I know most of you lived through it in one form of another. (Lets just say most of us dealt with it in the form of a man I will refer to as Shaun M.)
Here, yes it is deeply competitve but it is a good competitive. Yes, nerves and egos get rattled (including my own) but in the end the staff are not only good and experienced at being staff members but they are also great RPers to and I give them credit for doing what they do despite full time schedules that would probably make mere mortals cringe. But they do it and do it well.
Do I have my gripes and grievences. Yes. Do I wish to have a storyline that would give me and the character I handle a direction yes. But again we don't live in a perfect world and I can't complain about me not having anything interesting when I am not performing consitantly at my very best...for example the no show in my match against Ace which to be honest in unacceptable.
We are all grown ups here. If we expected things to be handed to us than we would be out in New York protesting Wall Street for things we did earn and aren't owed to us but I digress.
Adam you are a great man and the amount of love time and passion you put into this astounds me daily. You are the backbone of this and without you and the staff especially Gib this would not be a reality.
Hopefully once I am able to deal with me transitioning out of the military next July (Yes it is a long time but the government sucks at dealing with the most mundane of tasks) and get my general house in order I can do this once again full time and make a positive contribution to this Fed. (Hopefully within a month or two)
Anyway keep doing what you are doing. Will tempers flair at some point in house? Porbably, but don't let that deter you (Adam and the staff) from keeping this fed alive.

Well, everything I could say has been said. It's a hobby, it's supposed to be fun, and admins are usually damn good RPers so they're going to win some matches, because they're dedicated. I know, I was one for awhile. It was fun, but the complaining did suck. I usually brushed it off, but it does suck some of the fun out of the game. I would do everything I can to help others, I would try to be as fair as possible, but we'd still get complaints. I have to admit though, I would still do it if I had enough free time. It's a great job when it works out right and when people are happy. So if everyone would be happy, this place would be beyond epic. Still, this place is epic. Sure, no one is perfect, maybe someone someday will actually be a biased jerk, but 99 out of 100 times from when I was an admin, it was someone blowing things out of proportion or seeing a conspiracy when there was none. This place is supposed to be fun. If you're not having fun, leave. If your idea of fun is accusing people of ****, leave. Otherwise, stay here and I love you. Also, Adam and you other admins, you all rock. Keep up the good work.
