"Honor. A value that was taught to me by one of my trainers because he believes in that more then anything else in his career. I was taught from the moment I stepped into that ring that fighting with honor and showing pride in yourself was one of the most important things you could do in this sport. He loses a lot but he still told us about honor every single time we went into that ring to learn from him.
So when I think of honor, Gjenrei, I think of never taking that low road myself. To you honor is some sort of philsopical thing. See I don't view wrestling as a battlefield like you might. I view this as something fun. Not a life or death matter but that's the difference because I'm nothing more then another common American looking for his own slice of the pie? That's the vibe I'm gettin' from you right now.
Because I said that the title, not you but the title is another my step to the road I want to be on you take it the wrong way. So if I could be stereotypical for a moment it's just like your kind of way to take something and try to get deep into the real meaning of a word because it's so exciting for you. Everything, Gjenrei, doesn't have a certain meaning to it.
I get the feeling you would've been better off back in the day of the Samuri when the values of honor and pride were taken more seriously. You would've fit right in on that battlefield where if you got struck down it wasn't done with evil intentions. Two men simply fighting for the cause of whatever they might've been fighting for.
We both know what we're fighting for at Breaking Away, the X Title. A title that I want very badly. It's not because I'm greedy, far from it, it's just my way of truely breaking into this company as a man people can view as someone with a future. And you are the furthest thing from a stepping stone, I even said it as such I believe earlier this week.
Gjenrei you're not a stone, the title is. You're a human, obviously that I take as a very big threat. I watched your match with Seth Evans from last month and took you very seriously from that moment. This was a man who nearly won Road to the Gold and you were able to knock him off for the X Title?
That's impressive masked man. To defeat a man who was on the cusp of going for the World Title in a remarkable run and you were able to knock him down. I appaulded you for winning because you looked like the better man. No shortcuts just a straight up wrestling match and that's what I love. To me that's honor. Two men fighting with nothing stopping them from having the best man on that night win.
So take that for what it's worth. I got family and friends to enjoy on this day."

I personally love Thanksgiving. All the men here are in the basement of Brad's house playing Madden 12. No one cares about the teams playing so we're holding a tournament. We'd be out playing but his wittle neck can't handle it. So right now I'm playing against Evan Andrews who royally sucks at this game. It's like twenty four nothing right now in the second. Reminds me of watching a SwankChip beat Th3Dreamer.
Dexter: So you gonna start playing for real anytime soon?
Evan: You know I'm more of a hockey man!
Yeah he is. Canadian and what not. Personally I think hockey isn't worth the time of day but I know plenty of people enjoy it so more power to them.
Evan: Can I just forfeit? It's painfully obvious that I'm not going to win and we need to have more people get their first games in before dinner...
I think about it for a moment and nod my head. Yeah it's getting worse and worse now so there's really not a point to keep going any further. Can't damage his pride too much.
Brad: So next up is Eric and myself.
Dexter: The two Irish guys. I wonder if they'll start to fight in the middle of the game.
Eric: We might...
The two of us laugh while Brad looks focused. He's super serious about winning in Madden. I'm sure we all know the type of guy. Gets excited after a four yard gain.
Dexter: Someone come get me when it's my turn to play again. Gonna check on some stuff.
I get grunted at which is our way of saying goodbye. Why waste more words then what you have to? I walk about the giant Kane mansion which is easily four times the size of the house Freya and I have. But when you got fifty kids along with another family living with you you need a larger place. I like my house. Feels good to be a home owner even if Brad does own this block. I go into the kitchen because it smells awesome. There stands my mama over the stove directing traffic.
Cecilia Davis: Freya, honey, can you get me some milk please?
Freya: Yes Mama Davis.
[]Yeah she calls my mama that because it's too weird for her to call her Cecilia. I find it funny personally. Mama looks over to see me and looks upset.[/i]
Cecilia: Dex you know you ain't allowed in the kitchen. Go back to playin' with your friends.
Dexter: But I wanna help...
Cecilia: You can help later with the dishes.
I nod my head before kissing Freya on the back of the neck. She giggles before slapping me on the butt. Thankfully mama doesn't see any of it before I head into the dining room. It's getting close with all the plates and stuff out. I take a seat as Megan and Natalie Snow are getting some of the food out and ready.
Megan: So that's when Brad said my...
She stops talking about what I assume to be personally when she sees me. I swear my brother in law is obsessed with pounding that into neverland. Regardless I'm starved as more and more food is brought out. Soon enough everyone comes up and we're ready to eat.
Cecilia: Now I think we should all say somethin' we're thankful for this year. Dexter why don't you start.
Dexter: Alright mama.
I take a moment to think about this while I look at Freya who is sitting across the table from me. She smiles as I know what I'm thankful for.
Dexter: I'm so very thankful first and foremost for being alive and healthy. I'm very blessed to be surrounded by my family and friends. I'm thankful for two wonderful stepsons who love me. I'm extremely thankful for my baby girl. I'm thankful for my wrestling career too. Thanks.
Everyone looks at me like I forgot something. I did but it was on purpose for shock effect. Freya looks at me with her jaw dropped before I smile.
Dexter: Oh and I'm the most thankful for my wife Freya. Without her I don't know where I'd be at right now.
She blows me a kiss as I listen to everyone else talk about what they're happy about this year. Time to enjoy this dinner...
