You want to talk about screams. How about yours? How about the screams of a man who saw his entire legacy flash before his eyes as his back was being nearly torn in half? Do you remember those screams?
Because I do.
I use to relish them but now they serve as a reminder of the pain I caused those around me. Angel, whatever you may think, the truth is, I allowed you to leave that ring breathing. If I hadn't felt pity on your mortal soul you would be buried in some family plot as your name was slowly erased in the land of the living. You think yourself to be some sort of demon spawn from hell, here to do the dirty work that none of us meek sheep have the capacity of doing. As if your blood doesn't run red like all of ours. As if your bones aren't easily breakable.
As if your sh*t don't stink!
Face it, Angel. There is nothing special about you other than the fact that you managed to come back with a breath of fire as if GOD spoke through your lungs.
That is until I show the world that breath of fire is merely hot breath coming from the lungs of an attention seeking whore.
You want us to be scared of you. You want for me to cower in fear but all i can do is laugh as you try to make the world tremble with your stories of fallen kingdoms. You're right, the old have been replaced by the new and you should take the bloody hint...
And take your sorry ass home on your own accord before I take away your ability to walk.
I can sense fear in your hollow words. I smell it on your corrupted flesh. You saw what I was capable of before and for the first time in your miserable existence,... It made you feel like less of a man... Less of a monster. Now you look to correct that fear by going head to head with it but the sad reality is, I've already won.
You're just going through the motions like some grandpa that's lived longer than he should have.
But what's the point in pointing out your flaws and insecurities when all it does is work in your favor as you turn it around and attempt to use my own words against me? I am not the fool in this relationship, Angel. I am not even ashamed of what I'm becoming. In fact, I'm proud to have shed that skin and stepped into a new one. One that doesn't have to constantly live in denial and regret while hiding in the shadows of society. I am not fully reborn but my path back to righteousness is nearly complete.
I just have to send a fallen Angel back to the heavens to be judged accordingly.
You want the monster? Too f*cking bad! All you are getting is a man that's lived a sad tale. A story of redemption told through his wars. This... is my story. You're just a supporting character in it. When it's all said and done, I will give thanks to you as I eulogize your accomplishments while the world bears witness to your demise. I will shower you with praise as you fall before me and tremble. And when the bell is rung, declaring me the victor, you will weep for me no longer...
For you'll be too busy weeping for your lost career.
Because I do.

{Sense is smoking a cigar as he stands in front of a hospital. Mr. West lounges about nearby, arguing into his cell phone, as Lady Die sits on the ground like an Indian, chewing gum and staring up at Sense. Lex is anxious. Nothing really gets him nervous anymore, except Alice. She's in the very hospital he now stands in front of. He wants to go inside but is delaying it as long as possible. The last time he saw her she was being carted away and she made her feelings clear when she told him she was no longer with him. While her mouth spoke though, her eyes told a different story. Lady punches him in the thigh in a feeble attempt to give him a Charlie Horse.}
Lady Die: Are you nervous?
Lex Sense: Like you wouldn't believe.
Lady Die: Are you serial!?! Big Bad Voodoo Daddy Sense afraid of visiting a bed ridden former love?
Lex Sense: ...
Lady Die: Do you know how pathetic that makes you look.
Lex Sense: Do I look like my looks concern me?
Lady Die: Yes... You can hurt other men for a living yet you can't go into a hospital without worrying what she's gonna say when she sees you?
Les Sense: You have no clue.
Lady Die: Yes I do. Love and wrestling are the same thing. Now if you can bury a man alive, you can go in there. So stop being such a bloody goof and get your ass in gear!
{She gracefully spins into a standing position and playfully pushes Lex from behind. Sense allows her to move him forward a few steps before sidestepping and watching her fall to the floor. He smiles a sly smile.}
Lex Sense: You made your point. I shall return.
{Lady Die sits on the floor, rubbing her ass. She screams out to Lex as he walks away.}
Lady Die: Ouch! ASSHOLE!!
{Sense passes West, who puts down his phone to ask Lex a question. Sense knows the question and answers it before it's asked.}
Mr. West: Wh...
Lex Sense It will only be a minute. Just have to say... good bye.
{West immediately goes back to his phone conversation without giving a second thought to the sorrow in Sense's voice. Lex knows it's the right thing. Angel proved it to him the week prior. Sense be damned if he allows anybody to get to him by getting to them again. He walks into the entrance of the hospital as we transition back to the old workshop, where Sense is sweating away on carving intricate designs into a stretch of wood.}
Lex Sense: So you figured out my gift to you? I was never much for keeping secrets. I was told when I first started badgering you months ago to just take your decisions up my ass and grin and bear it and I did,... for a while. But then your constant interference with Young Guns business made it impossible for me to take your moronic decisions with a smile. I wasn't going to allow you to continue to screw us over as you played favoritism.
In hindsight, maybe I was just seeing what I wanted to see.
You were a fair and honest GM who always looked out for this company's well being like it was some neglected child that was born from your seed. It was quite endearing. Now I can't say the same for the "monster" you've become. You want to rule over this kingdom with an iron fist, the only problem is that it will never work. Even if you manage to bury me under your dirty boots, there will always be somebody there to stand in your way. nCw was existing just fine with you retired from it and it will continue to do so once you're gone. This isn't three years ago where the roster was filled with lesser men that showed fear when you walked the same side of the street as they did.
This is the present nCw where the roster is made up of men that are willing to stand up to an ego maniacal madman such as you.
{Sense stops the intricate carving as he wipes his blade from the wood chippings that now cover it. He puts the blade down and then wipes his hand from the sweat. He looks into the camera.}
Lex Sense: Knock me down and I'm sure somebody will take my place in standing up to you. You say this isn't going to be over until you rid nCw of me but this IS going to end. It's going to end with you in a casket being covered in dirt. I'm not stopping this time. This time I am willing to go as far as you want to take it but please...
Stop fooling yourself. Stop lying to yourself.
This isn't some revelation of fire and brimstone showering the masses. This isn't your own personal apocalypse coming to life. This isn't even a simple mission of destruction and domination on a lackluster roster like you claim. This is simply the battle of an old man attempting to remain relevant.
And in case you haven't looked in the mirror, you're the old man.
{Sense goes back to working on what we now know is a casket. He looks focused and determined as each groove carved into the wood is another vision of the match ahead. Sense works on these sculptures and paintings because it helps him to see the possibilities of the future. With Angel involved, the possibilities are countless but he hopes to dwindle them down to one. One casket. One Angel. One burial. The scene fades to white as the white walls from the hospital where Sense is visiting comes into focus.}
Lex Sense: I wish this was easier but I should've never allowed myself to bring you into this.
{Sense is attempting to find the right words to utilize in hopes of letting Alice down easily. He practices on himself as nurses and family members of the ill pass him by, shooting stares of WTF at the towering mountain of muscle. He doesn't want Alice or the girls around if it means that they may possibly get hurt because of some GOD forsaken feud with a mad man. try as he might, whatever he says in his head, it all sounds the same. He sounds like the degenerate bastard husband and lowly deadbeat father his enemies describe him as. Looks like Angel was right after all.}
Lex Sense: There's nothing I can say...
{As Lex argues with himself he turns the corner and sees her straight ahead. Laying on a hospital bed with a few tubes coming out here and there. All in all she looks peaceful. She wakes up and smiles and for a second Sense thinks she is smiling at him until Christopher Sense, her current husband and Lex's cousin, steps out from out of nowhere and embraces her, kissing her gently on her forehead. Sense then sees his twin girls also running up to hug her and then he sees it. The family he never had. The family he is now ruining by his mere presence. The family that has no room for a seven footers uncontrollable need to battle with demons.}
Lex Sense: Just walk away.
{Sense doesn't take long to convince himself that he shouldn't be here and he smiles a sorrowful smile as he turns and leaves behind the wife and kids he should've never had. Not because they ruined his life but because he continues to ruin theirs. Sense sees how this will end and he doesn't want the heartbreak anymore. Walking away with his head down, everything seems clearer now. Little by little, he's ending it all and by the end of this weekend, one way or another, it's going to be over. He holds his head high when...}
Christopher Sense: Not... going to say... hi?
{Sense stops dead in his tracks and slowly turns. Chris sounds like he's out of breath. Most likely from running to catch up to him.}
Lex Sense: Didn't want to be a bother.
Christopher Sense: More than you've already been?
Lex Sense: You don't need to throw it in my face. Angel is doing plenty of that.
Christopher Sense: Ah, Angel. The bastard that did this to get to you.
{Sense glares at Chris as silence befalls the two. Chris breaks it up as he continues to speak.}
Christopher Sense: Remember when we were kids? Before you were locked away in that hellhole.
Lex Sense: Barely. Just glimpses and flashes.
Christopher Sense: Pity. Well I do. Those were the days. Not a worry in our lives except for when the sun rises and when it dies down. We were close then. Real close. If it wasn't for you and your brother, I never would've made it out of boarding school.
Lex Sense: What's your point?
Christopher Sense: My point is, I would be picked on constantly. Just as constant as you would stand up for me and every time you stood up for me, the bullies would come back when you weren't around and make up for it ten fold. Nothing much has changed since then. Only the stakes have gotten a lot higher. You put those girls in harm's way simply by trying to help them. I heard the things Angel has said and they're true. It can't be helped when it comes to you. It's in your nature to destroy things without a care in the world. I am not trying to keep them away from you. I'm trying to look out for you. Every time you are near, people get hurt.
Lex Sense: Whatever you need to tell yourself to go to sleep at night.
Christopher Sense: Then I guess Alice being in that hospital bed isn't proof enough. Maybe next time Angel harms Alicia and Alexandria? Will you see it then? Stay away, Lex. For their sakes and yours.
{Sense walks slowly towards his cousin. He looks him dead in the eye and after a few awkward and silent moments...}
Lex Sense: You're not telling me something I don't already know, cous.
{Sense simply stares at his cousin and Christopher begins to slowly back away. Lex doesn't smile, he just accepts things for what they are and nobody is ever going to truly accept that he's changed until he proves it. Lex turns and walks away, leaving his cousin standing there as he head out of sight.}
I have pinned the world champion twice in the last few months. Something nobody else can claim. I have given my all to anyone I've faced while feuding with you. You have no right to take away anything from me. I have even defeated you in your own game. The only one to do so. I have lost but I have also won and each time, I feel myself grow as a human being. I wont allow you to take what keeps me human. You showed me how low you were willing to go and that's ok. I forgive you because you come from a time when that sort of behavior worked to get a rise out of your opponent.
It certainly worked for you when you almost put me down in that eternal sleep.
But that type of distraction will no longer be around. You are at a disadvantage if the only time you were able to get the upperhand on me completely was when my back was turned because I was trying to save someone I love. Now, I only have you to worry about and you only have me to try and intimidate.
For Sunday night, I shed all human emotions. I give up any paternal feelings that kept me anchored to this mortal existence.
I'm a blank slate ready to be filled...
With your blood.

{Sense walks out of the hospital and passes by West, who puts the phone down and follows close behind. Lady Die stands in front of them with her hands behind her back as she sways.}
Lady Die: So... How'd it go?
Lex Sense: You know how it went.
Lady Die: That I do! Exactly the way it should have.
{Sense smiles at the girl he considers a sista from another mista. Maybe she did know what she was doing but it doesn't make the pain hurt any less.}
Lex Sense: Let's go. No more distractions until my destination.
{She stands at attention and mockingly salutes.}
Lady Die: Yes sir!
{Scene fades as all three of them step into the Bentley. The Bentley headed to it's final destination.}
Will I win this weekend?
I can't say for sure.
Will I be buried alive?
It's a possibility.
Am I losing everything just to wrestle you?
Yes.
Why?
Because I love it enough to let it go.
Do you love your career that much?
You're about to find out the answer to that.
When you lose it all to me.
I can't say for sure.
