The scene opens up inside of the Joe Everyman locker room. Joe is seen sitting on the couch with his head in his hands, with Maria at his side. Joe is shaking his head from side to side until he finally sits back.
Joe Everyman: My god, this is getting stupid.
Maria Williams: Oh come on, it won't be that bad.
Joe Everyman: I am just sick of him always getting in my way. *** damn...
Maria Williams: Hey, you've over come him before, and you can do it again.
Joe Everyman: Yeah, hey, when is Chad getting here?
Maria Williams: Pretty soon I think.
Joe Everyman: Ok, I'm going to go get something to drink really quick.
Joe then stands up and walks over to a cooler sitting on the ground near the back of the locker room. He opens it up and pulls out a Dr. Pepper. He turns and faces the camera and gives a thumbs up and then walks back to the couch. He opens up the Dr. Pepper and takes a drink.
Joe Everyman: Ah...nothing beats Dr. Pepper...
Maria then raises a finger as to say something, but is cut off by the door opening. In walks Chad Lights.
Chad Lights: Hey Joe, could I get a few words for an interview?
Joe Everyman: Yeah sure.
Maria then stands up and walks over to another chair and sits on it while Chad takes her spot on the couch.
Chad Lights: Well, lets start this off on a good note. Congradulations on your win last week over Leviathan.
Joe Everyman: Thanks.
Chad Lights: I thought you were very impressive. Where did you learn those moves?
Joe Everyman: Well, I tought myself most of the more extreme moves I do. As you could see, nearing the end of the match, I hit a Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb. As you should know, those are the moves of the Hardy Boyz, Jeff and Matt. They are kind of my ideas, and I love showing that. I starting doing the Twist of Fate soon after Matt Hardy started doing it and then adapted the Swanton Bomb almost by accident. In a training tag team match I had several years ago, I was on the top rope, about to do a leg drop on my opponent. But then, his partner came up behind me and pushed me off and I flipped forward and hit a Senton Bomb. I liked it and got the pin too.
Chad Lights: Very nice. So, about this coming week. What are your thoughts on facing this new wrestler, Mark Evil?
Joe Everyman: Mark...Evil...I have faced him more before than any other fueded pair in history. I have had many matches against him, ranging from normal singles matches and tag team matches to Steel Cage matches and a Hell in a Cell. And, all but twice, I have come out victorious. I have beaten him over ten times before. And, he always seems to be there right when I am about to do something special. In a past federation I was in, the Vortex Xtreme Wrestling, or VXW, I faced him and another man, Killer Kane, in a Triple Threat "Extreme Elevation" match...a match I created. I won the VXW Xtreme Championship in the match...a championship I still hold, after the company went under. I had to defend my XHF Hardcore Championship aganist him and my XHF Phoenix Championship too. He has tried to win every championship I have ever held, and he has always come up short.
Chad Lights: Wow, I can see you've had a heated past against him.
Joe Everyman: Oh yeah, and all of my wrestling friends have too. He has two brothers, and a couple of other "goons", but they can't stand up to me, Chris Kahne and the Callaway Brothers, my best friends in the wrestling business. He has brought them in time and time again, and he have beaten them down. Mark Evil is barely even a challenge for me anymore.
Chad Lights: Not a challenge? Not at all?
Joe Everyman: Not at all. He doesn't even make me try anymore. The last few wins I have had aganist him were a walk in the park. I barely even have to try to beat him. All I have to do is do what I always do, avoid his large size, and I'll pick up the win...like I always do aganist him.
Chad Lights: Speaking of beating people, how do you like it that you have had two matches in the nCw so far and yet have no loses?
Joe Everyman: I love it. I've had a few rough starts in a my other federations, losing my first few matches, and now that I am yet to have a loss here is great. I must say Ace and ShowTyme put up a hell of a fight in my first match. I was actually surprised to make it out of that in a draw. But last week was easier. Leviathan was a fairly easy opponent, but I did not underestimate him. I had a feeling I was going to win, but I don't want to underestimate him because I have never seen his wrestle aganist him before. He put up a hell of a fight, and even though he is out with an injury, I wish him the best of luck to get better quickly.
Chad Lights: Any final words for Mark Evil?
Joe Everyman: Just one thing. Mark, I'm coming for you. You're next in my line of fire. You were dumb enough to walk out into my path of domination. Mark...you will come up short and fail...just like you always do....see Mark, this coming Saturday will be the final nail in the coffin in your career. Mark...your finished...and the sooner your accept that, the sooner I can get on with my career.
Joe finishes talking as the camera fades out.
