This side is pulling me, this side is dragging me away, this side is begging me to do the right thing.
What should I do? Where do I go?
My head is spinning in circles and I don’t know where to stand.
Now I have another world title match, another match where I have to put my belt on the line when my mind is elsewhere, to top it off I don’t understand what I’ve seen. Adam with her? What were they doing, why was she there... do I dare ask, do I confront him? Why am I acting like a scared little high school girl who caught her boyfriend texting another girl in class? This is ridiculous, I’m the new president of a huge financially successful company.
Get your head into the game...
I don’t..
ugh.
Everything is spinning out of control, but this is the moment where the best stand their ground, fight through the adversity, this is where I have to be my strongest, and I will. I’m ****ing Kelly Knite, I’m not going to let this drag me down, I’m not going to let this bring me to my knees. I will fight this and pull through.
If it kills me.
[Simon stands behind the corner of his building hiding spot across the street from where Adam and Ashlie are enjoying brunch. He grabs his phone and brings it back up to his lips acting quietly and secretively.]
Simon: Puss In Boots to Mother Goose, come in Mother Goose, The Gingerbread Man is on the run with Red Riding Hood, I repeat the Gingerbread Man is with Red Riding Hood.
Kelly: Simon, for the last time, STOP using those ridiculous code names.
Simon: Yes ma’am...
Kelly: What are they doing?
[Simon takes a big gulp of air as he pokes his head back around the corner down the street as he has Kelly on FaceTime. He comes back around to hide again as quick as he can.]
Simon: They are sitting there talking, looks like they are on a date.
Kelly: What?!
Simon: Yeah, they are laughing and eating, looks like a fun time.
Kelly: No... no... no... I refuse to believe this.
Simon: I don’t know Kelly, you caught them at his gym and now this, it sure looks like they are getting awfully friendly behind your back.
Kelly: But why? I don’t get it, why would he do this while he’s telling me how much he cares about me and how everything he did was for me!
[Simon shrugs his shoulders, as if Kellly could see him, as both are in complete silence now. Finally Kelly’s voice rings through his phone again, softer this time.]
Kelly: Simon, look... just follow him a bit more ok? Just.. tell me if they, you know...
Simon: Bump uglies?

[Kelly hangs up the phone on her end as we see her sitting on the couch in her and Adam’s living room with her elbows on her knees. It’s obvious that she hasn’t slept much the past few days and her eyes are red from possible crying. She looks at her phone and quickly flips through the pages with quick slides of her fingers until she sees all the unanswered messages from Adam over the past several days. She picks a message at random and hits reply.]
“Adam... come over tonight.”
[She quickly hits to send the message, despite her better judgement and instantly falls back into the couch with her hands covering her face, almost as if she’s ashamed of herself for showing some emotional weakness. She lets her hands drop to her sides as she leans her head back to look at the ceiling.]
Kelly: What am I doing?!
[Kelly closes her eyes and shakes her head as the screen fades to black.]
Oh look... one half of the over the top cliche of the “are they or aren’t they” lesbian squad couldn’t get the job done, couldn’t cut it, ran away like a scared little child, so here comes the other half of team estrogen exchange to come and challenge me, possibly to pick up where her blow hard friend left off.But hey, this is a good thing. Unlike Rayne, Ayla has actually earned a position in this match, so I’m glad she’s here. I’m all about seeing people earn their shots and not just walking around whining, crying, bitching, and beating up punching bags with my picture pasted on them. It’s a nice change of pace and as far as I know Ayla hasn’t, at the moment of this promo, ever accused me of causing a thermo-nuclear war in the middle east like Rayne was apparently gearing up to do.
If I can get off topic for a minute... really? I still don’t understand what was up with that. She acted like I spit in her son’s face or something and all I ever did was be supportive of the team when they weren’t acting like the orgasmic dreams of horny 13 year old boys. Come on for christ’s sake, I guess if that’s what it takes to psych you up to actually make you think you’re worth something then by all means go right ahead, but lets be honest here... there was never any need for any bit of that idiotic act.
Now back on subject, so now that one half of the team ran off with her tell between her legs to go nurse her failing family situation or whatever excuse she might have, I get the honor of taking on the less tolerable member of the group. I wonder if she’s still bouncing around Falcon like a love starved puppy... I really do because I sorta lost track of what was going on with her when more important things rose up, you know like controlling an entire multi-million dollar company at the age of 27, the important things in life I guess.
So where are we going with this Ayla? Where is all this heading? Are you going to stand up and bring me down for the honor of the BWA and for the spiritual redemption of Rayne? Is this going to be some valiant effort for you to come in and clear her name, show us all that she could have really gotten it done if just given a chance maybe? If that’s the case then I just have one simple request before this whole ordeal begins...
please don’t.
Don’t make this about something that it isn’t, don’t make any of what is about to happen center around an event that never took place. Rayne was given every chance in the world to succeed. She was given opportunities that she didn’t deserve and you damn well know it. There isn’t a single moment in this company where anybody purposely pulled back on Rayne’s reigns and tried to stop her from going to the top. There is nothing to fight for, she had a golden ticket with her name on it to get a shot at me and she blew it, she lost to Shelly Jones, she had the perfect chance to prove herself to the world and she choked. End of story. So if you try and paint this as the hard working girls versus the big, evil, corrupt corporation then I’m going to slap the piss out of you, because you know damn well that isn’t remotely true at all.
See Ayla. I want you to make this about you, I want you to be fighting this fight because it’s something you want to do for yourself. You have the chance to be the second ever Triple Crown holder of the women’s titles. You have a chance to prove that my father didn’t pick wrong when he chose you to represent him as his women’s champion, you have a chance to prove that you’re not just this over the top caricature of a female fantasy woman... this is your moment to shine, wine or lose, so take it for yourself, fight for Ayla...
and don’t look back.
I sure as hell won't...
when I pass you.
