Call To Honor
I have never been more pleased with my performance in my life. Not even when Mike finally took me out of the dungeon and brought me to the airwaves of nCw, not even when he accepted me into his wrestling school in the first place. Honestly, winning the Honor Championship didn't even come close....which is weird, because before last night it was probably the crowning achievment in my whole career, but now I look at it as just the beginning.
Going out there and putting on that intense, impressive, and down right awesome display with Roberto Verona means more to me now, because it was a step up in the eyes of people around the world, and it was my chance to really get in the ring with someone who has proven their in-ring abilities all over the world with nCw.
I lost. But I won just by being a part of that awesome display.
I thank you Roberto, for giving me the chance to showcase my skills, to allow me to work with you to entertain the people to showcase our abilities and to make memories. It was my honor sir.

It's that time again where we open up on a specific location but this time it's one we are not used to seeing in the slightest. The establishing shot that opens the scene showing us where this is going to be taking place is almost as if a helicopter is flying over an undisclosed prison yard. There is a loud buzzing sound and we change to the inside of the prison, visiting quarters. There we see our plucky hero Atreyu being patted down by a prison guard. Atreyu is staring right ahead at his older brother who sits with his hands running through his shaved hair. He sends a weak smile at Atreyu who approaches and sits down opposite him.
Atreyu: Hey bro......I never expected they would find you Chris...
Christopher Summers: I had to hand myself in Wade. They were all over you, they were going to stop you from touring with nCw...
The two brothers look at each other and there is just something unsaid between them. Since they lost their father in that fatefull attack on their home soil Christopher pretty much raised Atreyu, but seeing his brother so helpless in this situation just crushed him.
Atreyu: Did you do it? What they're accusing you of?
Chris looks at Atreyu, and then looks down at the floor he can't keep the eye contact with his brother, having someone he loves so much judging him that way. Atreyu's lip quivers a little, seeing the man who brought him up in such a way....
Christopher Summers: I had to do what I had to do Wade. I can't explain it to you, because it will just put you in danger. He was a threat to our people, to our soldiers.....and he deserved worse.
Atreyu: You are not God Chris! You do not reserve the right to judge people, to judge who should live and who should die! What the hell happened to you?
His brother looked right back at him, the look so many soldiers end up with one way or another, the thousand yard stare. He looked like he was almost looking past Atreyu but his eyes turned to focus on him.
Christopher Summers: They changed me Wade. They made me do things.....I took the lives of people who didn't deserve it, and I can't change that....I just needed to so some good before I died....
Atreyu shakes his head, controlling his emotions as the buzzer goes off again. Christopher reaches across and takes Atreyu's hand looking right into his eyes.
Christopher Summers: Remember what Dad said to us Wade.....you are the life of this family, you are the soul.....and you need to remember that and keep it with you.
Guard: SUMMERS! LET'S GO!
Christopher gets up as Atreyu looks down at the table a few tears finally escaping from our hero as he watches his brother carted off into the lock up. He sits back and takes a deap breath before letting it out in a big sigh as we fade away on this very pirvate scene.

Last week on Collision there was a certain altercation, one that the legendary God of Xtreme was none too pleased about, one that he wants to rectify but of course he's restricted from competing in the nCw right now due to his retirement clause, to prevent more Brett Favre like actions of course. Or Todd Williams like bitch-quits. So when the card for CrossRoads was released you can imagine Mike's glee. He figured, hey if he can't get revenge for your actions on Collision, surely I can right.
Right?
Well there are two schools of thought really, I could go out there and got nuts at you for what you did to Spike completely unprovoked or I could simply go out there and do what I do better than so many others, and put on a show stealing match.....taking your title in the process. You see Mike, I think I know the kind of person that you are and I don't think walking up to you and slapping you in the face will have the same effect as taking that gold from around your waist will.
You attacked a man of stature in this business, unprovoked. A man who was just trying to lend a hand, to offer some advise. But you have your head so firmly rammed up your own anus that you couldn't see it, all you could see was another person looking down their nose at the great and powerful Mike Laszlo, Honor Champion of the world. Or at least that's what you hear inside your head regardless of what people might actually think of you. Me though? Well Mike, I told you that I don't work on hear'say I don't listen to the vultures backstage. People in this business talk more than they do work, and if you let them get to you they can end your career before it even starts. I don't listen to what they say about you behind your back, I never take another persons opinion for my own, I give things, people....a chance to make their own impression and then I make my own opinion.
You gave me the same courtesy when we clashed a few weeks ago in my return match. You were taken aback by someone who came in to this business and instead of forcing hatred and personal feelings into every match to try and get themselves over simply told it like it was. You said you liked it Mike, that it was different and it broke the monotamy of “I'm going to break your face” that you hear every week in and out. You extended the same courtesy to me, and if memory serves correct you even congratulated me on my impressive victory.
Because it was pretty awesome to come back out of obscurity and defeat the Honor Champion, I guess that is why they gave me a title shot......
You spoke with one mouth to my face, and then with your hand you were backhanding my mentor. Before you even got down to tacts with me you made comments about how it isn't even me you want to fight, that you want to get in the ring with the God of Xtreme. Then of course you were defeated by the person standing right here in front of you, the person who you underestimated and the person who thrives off of it. You looked past me Mike, to Spike....you thought that I wasn't significant enough to warrant your time....and it cost you a match. What do you think is going to happen when the Honor Championship is on the line?
Do you think I'm going to extend the same courtesy this time? Do you think I'm going to be all about the show and not about getting that victory? You attacked my best friend Mike....the guy who gave me everything I have in this world, and I'm just expected to stand back and accept it? I'm supposed to smile at you, shake your hand and have a “jolly good” match. No Mike....it isn't going to happen. We're going into CrossRoads the very event where my mentor beat his own brother to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.....we're going to a show that is steeped in history, and we are about to make our own, when Atreyu becomes the second time Honor Champion. Spike wants to break your nose, he wants to put you through every ounce of pain he possibly can....and trust me Mike, I've known him for a few years now, I've trained under him.....he knows how to cause pain.
But I'm not like that. No, I don't want to wish physical pain upon you for your actions. Not at all Mikey, I'm just going to take your Honor Title away from you and bring it back where it belongs. I'll take the title that seems to have given you such a huge ego and watch you crumble without it. You and your ego have gotten to big for your britches Mike, and to be honest with you....I pity you, because the matter of the fact is...I am taking that title, and I don't know what you will do without it. I don't know what you can do without it.....you are just a man with a belt Mike, but what happens when that belt is gone? When that belt is back around my waist, where it has belonged since it's creation.
Tell me Mike, what then?
Exactly Mike....nothing. So talk your big game like you said you were so tired of hearing people do, rationalise your attack on a retired legend of this company and this business. A man who held this company up like a cornerstone and laid the foundations for people like you to try and make a career. Try it Mike, no matter what you say we all know the truth, and we all know that you are not the man you parade yourself to be. So get ready Mike, because at CrossRoads?
I will humble you.
