To start off your stay in a new place with a win is one of the best motivators in this business. It keems you hungry...It keeps you confident....and it keeps you focused. The scene opens with a shot of Jason Norton and Brandon for in the weight room of his apartment complex. They both are sporting workout attire, black Addidas tearaways and tennis shoes. Jason is doing some reps on the bench with some serious weight. Brandon is spotting him.
Brandon: Let's go Jay. 4 more. Push that up. It ain't nothing.
As Brandon is coaching him, Jason pushes the first 3 up fairly easy. On the final rep, he rests the bar on his chest, and with everything he has got, he pushes the weight up. His arms are shaking and he begins to let out a very angry yell, before finally catching the bar in its stable position. Jason sits up, and grabs a water bottle of the floor. He takes a few squirts of water, swishes it around, and then spits it out. He begins to speak, but even though Brandon is sitting there, it seems as if Jason is talking to himself.
Jason: That's the most weight I have done in a long time. It's amazing what a "W" will do to your training habits. I've seen a lot of guys go out and celebrate and do all sorts of crazy stuff. That only leads to weakness. Weakness...it's not a trait I need in my life right now. Yeah, I got a win against Syringe. So what? That's in the past. I don't....
The scene shows Brandon who is looking down at his watch, and then pulling out his phone. He realizes that his watch has stopped. Jason has an interview to shoot with Chad Lights at the arena in a half hour.
Brandon: Jason...Jason...we gotta go get cleaned up man. You're interview with Chad at the arena is in 30 minutes. It takes 20 to get to the arena. If we go now, we can make it.
Jason, still recovering from his workout, looks pretty calm about the situation. Just then, his phone begins to play the "Alcohaulin' Ass" He takes his phone out of his pocket, flips it open. The screen reads "Interview at the Arena". He shuts the phone and looks at Brandon. He replies...
Jason: Nice timing there buddy. You think I was really gonna forget about that interview? I got everything under control.
With that, Jason stands up. He and Brandon both walk into the lockerroom. The scene fades to black....
The scene comes in to see a wide view of the set of NCW. Chad Lights is sitting on a stool to the left. To the right, Jason and Brandon are also sitting on stools. Jason has on a pair of fades bleached out blue jeans, and a tight black Tshirt with "Business...." printed in green letters on the front. Brandon is decked in the same, except his shirt is white, and it has NCW written on it N.W.O. style. Chad Lights begins the interview.
Chad: NCW fans, we have a very special treat for you. Right now, I am sitting here with Jason Norton and Brandon Force. Jason is one of
the new superstars recently signed here in the NCW. In his first match, he beat Syringe after hitting the Annihilator in the final moments of the match.
Chad turns to Jason...
Chad: Jason, it's glad to have you here.
Jason: Well, Chad it's great to be here. It's definetly been a long time coming.
Chad: Now, Jason. This past Saturday, you have your first match with Syringe, who is another one of our up-and-comers. You started off a little rough, but you eventually cruised to a seemingly easy victory. Tell us about that.
Jason: Well, to correct your from the beginning, there are no easy wins in NCW. I think I can safely say Syringe and I both went into that match wanting to win. I think in the early going, I was kind of nervous being in front of such a big crowd. I come from organizations that were wrestling in front of 10-20 people. So part of it was nerves. I will give Syringe some credit, because he did put up a helluva fight. I was just the better man.
Chad: You definetly were on Saturday. Now with the win, you have been catapulted into the main event match this Saturday on suspense. If you think you were nervous before your first match, what do you think you will be feeling once the lime light hits and you are the center of attention?
Jason: I'll be ready. I know what to expect at this point. Like I've been saying since I've come to the NCW. I've been working for twelve years for these moments in my career.
Chad: Well, as that may be, you also have one of your more challenging moments as you face War Train! You're thoughts about this upcoming match?
Jason: Yes, it's definetly going to be a challenge. I mean let's look at the facts here. I'm overpowered, oversized, and basically outmatched in almost every phase of the game. But, while War Train has me in these areas, there are two areas I am fairly confident in having a major advantage in.
Chad: And what might those areas be?
Jason: The first area is technique. You see, War Train is six foot, eight inches tall. He weights over two hundred and fifty pounds. He has been a "big man" all his life. And in that, he has absolutely no technique. He throws his weight and size around that ring recklessly. I, on the other hand, have been been in training for over 12 years. I am well versed in many of the martial arts, and I have a well round arsenal of moves. That means, when I'm in that ring and I have this beast of a man running full steam in my direction, I know exactly what I need to do.
Chad: Bold remarks, Jason! And what would the other area be that you have an advantage in.
Jason: The other area...heart.
Chad: Are you saying that War Train has no heart? Are you questioning his love of the sport?
Jason: No Chad, I'm only saying that I have more heart than he does. I've been held back by a lot of people in the past. Other than Brandon here, I haven't had a lot of people back me. That means I've made it here on my own heart and determination. Like I said before, War Train is just naturally big. That's his M.O. It's the only thing he could do. You ever see a six foot eight man working the drive through at McDonalds, Chad? I don't think so. War Train's game is fairly simple. Pound the hell out of the opponent. Well, War Train, I have news for you. It's not gonna happen just like that with me. In the past couple of weeks, my game has stepped up. And the win over Syringe just added fuel to the fire. I've tasted the thrill of victory in the big time, and I will be damned if I let it get away from me now. I'm hitting the weights harder and faster than ever before. I'm running more miles a day. I'm doing everything in my power to be faster and stronger than the day before.
Chad: Well, it looks like the main event for tomorrow night is shaping up to be one helluva show. Now, Jason, before we conclude this segment, I want to get your thoughts on Kelly Fox's remarks in the latest edition of The Fox Report. For the second week in a row, she has snubbed your match in her predictions. Care to comment?
Jason: No not really. I mean, set some things straight here. Like I've said before, I've put years and years of blood sweat and tears into this business. What has Kelly done? Besides being born to a wealthy bloodline? Absolutely nothing. I'm not to worried about what some silver spoon fed spoiled brat has to say about me. I am Jason Norton. I am the biggest rising star in this organization, and when I hit the ring, EVERYONE should be watching, because BUSINESS....IS ABOUT TO PICK UP.
With that, Jason and Brandon walk away from the set.
Chad: Well, there you have it folks. Well, that's all the time we have for today, for Jason Norton and Brandon Force, and the rest of the NCW, I'm Chad Lights. Have a good night.
The NCW credits role, and the scene fades to black.
Brandon: Let's go Jay. 4 more. Push that up. It ain't nothing.
