No wrestling discussions since January? We're on the road to wrestlemania! And don't give me that hipster "I don't watch WWE" ****, two ROH guys are the world champions and you're on an e-fed site. There is no way you don't know something about Wrestlemania. So discuss! Predictions! Most anticipated match! How could they do it better? Are they doing it right? C'mon now!
Best match of the night - Wrestling-wise everyone knows it's going to be CM Punk vs. Jericho. But does adding the layer of CM Punk's dad help the feud, or not? I felt they had enough feud fuel with the "best in the world" stuff, and if the feud went on, then add the dad stuff, but I don't think it was needed. However, CM Punk's acting was pretty good, and it is an interesting twist, so I don't think it'll hurt the match build up, but I don't think it'll really add more to the hype.
Overshadowed match - Bryan vs. Sheamus. The build isn't that great, despite how awesome Daniel Bryan is being. I think his over-the-top dueche-baggyness is the only thing even keeping this feud afloat. I think this is the most a royal rumble winner has been underplayed ever.
Team Long vs. Team Laurinitis - At first, I thought this was totally going to be rushed and lame, but for some reason, it's actually working. I mean, I know it's mainly just a match to get more guys on the card, and the match itself is probably going to be too short, but I'm liking the way it's going.
Divas - Still don't know what they're doing, I'd like for women to get their due, but there's not enough talented women and not enough time to pull off a good match. Sure, there's Beth, Natalya, and Kharma, but it's way too late to do any combination of match with those three and make it mean anything, so we're probably going to get a lame battle royal or ten girl tag or something.
Rock vs. Cena - It's going to be loud, and it's going to bring nostalgia, and Rock will hopefully still be able to sell with the best of them. I don't know if there beef is real or for TV, but I am kind of liking how they have a subtle hatred for each other while trying to just blast each other. I didn't think the Rock was back on his game until the Rock Concert though. At the end it felt a little flat, but for the most part, it was awesome. Cena has bits of good stuff coming out but I still don't totally believe he's changing for the better when this feud is over.

Ah yes, 2 weeks away from Wrestlemania. As far as best match of the night. It will definitely be Punk vs. Jericho as far as pure wrestling is concerned. I really feel though that WWE tipped their hand though when they brought in Punk's dad was/is an alcoholic angle. Reason being, now I feel like there is no chance Punk retains because otherwise the storyline is a waste of time. They are going to want to move on past Wrestlemania to see if Punk will actually take a drink after. Obviously it gets dropped if he wins. So that was a setback to me. Taker vs. Triple H II - Well, what can I say. This will be an end of an era. People seem to forget that Taker told HHH last year that if he's good and ready to be put to an end it would be HHH that would do it, but it wouldn't be that year. I'm thinking it will be this year. Though they are going to continue to push the HBK not trusting his buddy, but in the end, I think Trips finally ends the streak.... But then again, maybe Taker wants 20-0 and will retire. Divas? Umm, not a fan, never really was a fan, except for the eye candy. This often is a match where I get up to get food. Teddy Long's team has R-Truth and Santino, which are two of my favorite current entertainers. LOL But I'd be shocked if Johnny's team doesn't win. DBry vs. Sheamus, I can't say I've ever been sold on DBry. I know he has a huge underground following, but I don't really see him coming out on top in this one. I think they've pushed him a little too hard for what is in the realm of believablity after feuds with Mark Henry and Big Show. Rock vs. Cena - You want to annoy me, talk to be about John Cena. I know I should probably respect him because he competes and competes and shows up every week. But he's about as stale as the 2 year old box of corn flakes in my kitchen pantry. I'm really thinking Rock will win. He looked like he didn't miss a beat at Survivor Series. And he's already stated he'll be at WMXXIX, so I'm thinking Cena puts Rock over at this years and then they have a rematch next year and the outcome becomes flip-flopped. Loved the Rock concert though. "You love Chewbacca and Frodo too. You're still a virgin and 42..." I actually sang that next day to my team lead at work who is 42 and loves Lord of the Rings. LOL And can we get Miz into Wrestlemania, please? Sorry, I find him entertaining and he's a really good heel.

It's Taker Vs Triple H III young padawan.
I'm psyched for Wrestlemania but I think the alcoholic dad angle was wasted (I think more so having seen it used in his feud with Raven before which is still my fave feud to this date) Though as far as WWE goes they are my two favourite wrestlers past and present. I'm pumped up for their match so much and I don't know who to pick as the winner, because if Punk wins I'll be happy if Jericho wins I'll be happy.
Just remember they both like to troll the internet fans.
Divas match is going to be Eve and Beth Vs Kelly and some celebrity apparently. I couldn't care less only Beth is a good wrestler out of those.
Sheamus Vs Bryan - Such an undersold ppv match. I do feel sorry for both of them,, but at the same time they are in a world title match at Wrestlemania. They're being overshadowed and there seems to be almost zero build, but look at whats overshadowing them, Punk Vs Jericho (the only thing better for the icw would be Punk Vs Bryan!) Rock Vs Cena, and Taker Vs HHH....seemingly fairly overshadowed...I hope they have fun with it though. Yes I do....Yes....Yes....Yes!
Big Show Vs Cody Rhodes - I like the build to this match with Cody humiliating Show week in and out, but I would still rather it was Cody Vs goldust.
Team Teddy Vs Team Johnny - I couldn't give a rats ass. I want them both off my TV.
Undertaker Vs Triple H - in the special guest referee, hell in a cell, end of an era, streak on the line match......gimmicky to ****. But isn't that what the attitude era was? I'm expecting some epic shenanigans of stupid proportions. I'm hoping they deliver because I felt let down with last years ending.
Orton Vs Kane - .....why? Why waste both of them on this stupid ****?
Rock Vs Cena - i hate Cena, have done since he showed up, will do till he goes away. i don't like the bs we are fed and supposed to accept. He loves the fans, he's a hero blah blah blah. No he isn't, I've seen it first hand. He's fake as **** and The Rock called him on it. They have both had some great shots at each other, and despite people going ape **** over Cena's "Thuganomics" return....it was actually pretty lame. I give him credit for trying, but nobody can out promo The Rock......the only person who came close was Stone Cold and that was more them doing silly actions and miming. I don't see what will happen afterwards, if Cena loses where does he go? If The Rock loses....who the hell can beat Cena now?
Either way, Wrestlemania has people talking and I know the vast majority of people here will watch it, whether they pay for it or not....I know I will.

I've never hated John Cena. I think he's been phoning it in for a few years, and I dislike that he rested on his laurels like that. He has talent and he showed it. But he stopped shortly after Wrestlemania 22. I think between that hour long match he had with Shawn Micheals shortly after WM22 and the Money in the Bank match with CM Punk last year, it seemed like he just coasted doing the formula of having a match instead of actually trying to have a great match. And of course since his CM Punk match, he went right back to being crappy. But this match is billed as super important and he actually feels slighted by the Rock even though he's never been as entertaining, so I hope he brings his A game and actually pulls off a good match.

I really enjoyed Wrestlemania, like a lot. I only predicted two matches right and that was the Divas match and Taker Vs HHH (but got the ending wrong)
I felt a little slighted that Bryan was on for a maximum of five minutes, but....there has to be a reason for this, and who knows maybe it was meant to happen from the get go. Either way, it still felt cool because people (included the people I was watching with, and myself) had barely gotten over the entrance. Like so:
Me watching mania: Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! *Brogue Kick, pin* Ye-...No! No! No! No! lmao.
I know people have bitched and moaned, but they were always going to. I thought besides the Divas match it was really enjoyable and good matches. Taker Vs HHH III was phenomenal, and I didn't want the match in the first place.

i thought mania was really good too.
taker vs h and punk vs jericho were both off the effing chains.
cena vs rock was a little lackluster but they had a year of hype to live up too AND they had to follow the two previous matches after brodus clay came out and killed the crowd in there seats.
d-bry vs sheamus was actually pretty epic. It kicked things off with a bang and really got people talking about sheamus. It's a wrestlemania moment, one that people are still talking about.
I just think its funny how many people are legit pissed off by it. And it's always the ROHbots too. Awh Vince and HHH hate D-Bry and they made this happen because they want to piss off us internet fans....
first of all....the only website vince cares about is twitter.......second of all.....do you even realize how over d-bry is right now? He's in zack ryder territory. D-bry was on raw for what barely a minute and he got one of the biggest pops of the night? Daniel Bryan isnt going anywhere folks and all mania did for him is possibly make him more popular.
YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES

I loved WrestleMania. Kane/Orton and the Divas Tag were both better than I expected, the three main events were awesome (especially Taker vs. Trips), and although I didn't love some of the results, I think they generally made the right choices.
Admittedly I was flabbergasted when Sheamus beat Bryan in 18 seconds and it ruined my early excitement, but seriously you guys.... watch the videos on Youtube from after last night's Raw. Bryan got an INSANE pop and Sheamus got massive heat. The damn fans were chanting "YES! YES! YES!" as they were leaving and honking their horns!
In closing, I think it was a terrific show and it really set us up for a potentially exciting yeari.

Here are some of the vids. I copied this from a dude from a wrestling forum I'm a member of. twitvid.com/S0RPEPost Raw dark match pop? Phew, forget that. How about, post show Pop, when it was all over. www.twitvid.com/SMNZNtwitvid.com/1RSUUHow about parking lot beeping the horns pop. www.twitvid.com/LD8WBThe line there is great at the end. They said Daniel Bryan wouldn't get over. When was the last time anybody was that over? Here's another video of the entrance. twitvid.com/II4MY

****ing....WOW!!! Now that is one super over dude. That's what it was like when I left Villa Park when we won the semi final of a cup a few years ago (obviously because we were off to the final at Wembley which is the best stadium in England)
I would give anything to be a part of a crowd like that.

Lex can never be happy.
I thought it was good. Not the best wrestlemania, but pretty good. Taker vs. HHH was great, but they stretched it out a little too long and they didn't need the HIAC. Rock vs. Cena was good, but Cena was just being his usual "I don't care to react to the fans" self, and I think that hurt the match, but it was still a good match. Punk vs. Jericho was awesome. DB vs. Sheamus, obviously I wish it was longer, but it may just be the best thing to happen to Bryan. I think what happened was that even though he was a bad guy, the fans know how hard he's worked to be where he is, and because he got screwed out of having a real match at wrestlemania, the fans are showing him support. I love it.
Espanding on the Cena thing, he did it even worse on Raw. Cena really needs to stop being an "I don't care what you think" guy. This is wrestling. Wrestlers are supposed to react to the fans. The fans were actually cheering Cena when he teased that he was going to yell at them. Everyone wants him to be bad. They're begging for it, and he just won't do it! Whether it's him that won't do it, or it's Vince, it doesn't matter. That was the perfect time, and he still flubbed it. Cena can get beat by Rock and Brock and we'll cheer and Cena will look like a loser, but as long as Cena keeps not caring what the fans think, it's not going to mean as much. The fans chanted that he was a loser, and he just took it. It makes him look like such a bitch. He can yell at the fans that hate him and still be a good guy to kids if they spin it right, that's all I'm asking for.
