We have untill April 30th. Legally we can operate untill Apil 29th 11;59 pm. all we have to do is change some names, remove ALL WWE pics since Vince isn't rich enough.

This sucks, I was really starting to find my groove here. But maybe it is for the best for me personally...new job...this week I've been told I'm working Monday-Saturday...5:30am-4pm...and I've got other things I must attend to as well. Adam allowed me to finally come back to rp here because I wanted to and be a new character...I believe I hit Brian Stevens spot on and did some things never done in the few weeks I was here. I finally got to rp against JackHammer....and I believe Todd is the handler of Eric Sanderson...so although it wasn't the character with the World Title...I still beat the nCw World Champion handler.  Then there was Mark Evil....well...Markus E. Reeves. (I still don't know what the E stands for, and would like to before this is all gone.) I have more fond memories of this place...I learned from the bad ones of me here...and grew from them. Thanks to everybody for giving me 1 final chance to rp here and be cool. I assisted Adam and Wil on starting this place back in 2007. I remember Wilbur Katina...Blaze...Jack Manson...then recruiting the WCF/XHF guys like Reckless Jack, Spike Kane, Lance Ryan, The Hollands, Davey "The GM" Ortega....then there was The Reckoning...Ricky Johnson...even Philip Burns. (Adam may have found him, can't remember for sure)...and oh, yes...I take credit for Dr. Pepper....unfortunately...my bad. (lol) I don't take full and complete credit for those guys joining nCw...but I did say a lot of great things about nCw to them that made them interested. And I'm very proud to see most of those guys I've mentioned have stuck around here and have continued to have success and maintain a positive atmosphere throughout the last 4 and a half years. All of those that joined up like Steve Awesome...Joe Everyman...Mark Evil...The Ace...JackHammer...A.J. Phoenix (old school) and to the most reason ones who have joined in the last few months like Nathan Webb, nCw World Champion Todd Williams, and Mike Laszlo. Then with Ed and Mark coming on board through PWW after working with Agent Orange there and doing a great job...they helped everybody take nCw to new heights I never imagined....with Falcon, Maniac, Angel, Rob Diamond....and last and not the least...Trent Helms. I know Adam and Trent have been best friends in efeds for several years now, and I've never seen eye to eye with Trent...call it jealousy...call it immaturity...it is what it is...but when Trent Helms came back to nCw and stepped up to help Adam and the staff out here and done a great job with the place. As a founder of this place...and being banned from this place...then coming back to this place...and getting myself banned again....then coming back...and getting banned again....and then coming back and getting banned again....then coming back....I wouldn't want nCw to leave on a higher note than this. If this is the last we see of nCw...and in my heart I don't believe it will be. I still feel Adam and you guys have a few miles left in ya...somehow...someway...then I want to congratulate everybody that's had any part...positive and negative with nCw in the last 4 and a half years...you are the ones that have made this place special to so many. Thank you all for the memories...and I'll never forget you. Shaun |

This isn't an April Fool's joke is it? If it is, then it would be the best April Fool's prank since last year when Zelda was believed to buy out the company. Hahaha! Very clever, Adam. Very clever. Almost had me fooled there! Almost. Wait a minute, what's this? *reads cease and desist letter* Oh, damn. This IS serious. Wow. After reading that, I don't know what to make of this announcement. This place was three months away from its 5-year anniversary, and now this? This is disheartening, especially since the first-ever fed I've joined recently closed its door at the start of the year. So, NCW... Five years of unforgettable memories, five years of classic confrontations, five years of history in the making. And just like sand running through your fingers, it's all about to end. It's just unfortunate. Now, I can't really speak for everybody, but one thing is for sure: I had an amazing time RPing here, for the seven or eight months since joining in mid-March last year. When I joined this fed, like the message on the forums says, I felt that I really was a part of something great. The RPers here are second to none, and the shows and PPVs were top notch. Granted, I wasn't very active OOC, but there was never a dull moment in the chat box. The randomness of it all was very, uh, random, but just the same, it was good times. Adam, let me first say that you, sir, deserve a medal of honour. Keeping this fed open for this long is an accomplishment in and of itself, and I'm not just saying that. You sacrificed your time, effort, money, and time with your family to provide we the RPers an avenue where we can express ourselves creatively. Through good times and bad, especially during that spat late last year, which I'm sure you'll remember, you could have closed this place down and be done with it, but you didn't. And for that, we thank you. NCW was merely a dream, but that dream soon became a reality. Luckily, Adam, you had a great team to help shoulder the burden, and that's a plus in helping this place run on all cylinders with timely results in all phases. I really don't blame you one bit for feeling the way you do. This e-mail certainly has taken the wind out of your sails, and just when everyone was looking forward to the Coliseum pay-per-view. And speaking of, I had even circled my plans on making a return after said pay-per-view, but it appears that isn't going to happen. An unexpected end to a very long journey. I'm going to miss this place. *starts tearing up* It's still real to me, dammit! Although NCW may be gone, it damn sure won't be forgotten. Not with this core of excellent RPers. And yeah...maybe we'll all see other in another fed someday. Someday... That being said, stay classy, NCdub. Stay classy. |

That letter was pretty damn convincing, and if you had done it on any day other than April Fool's I probably would have bitten hook, line, and sinker.
