The scene opens up in an interview spot in the back on the nCw arena. Chad Lights is standing by with Joe Everyman and Maria Williams.
Chad Lights: Chad Lights here with Joe Everyman and Maria Williams. Well, first off, I would like to get your thoughts on being invited to this X-Division Tournament.
Joe Everyman: I think it's great. Even though I am coming off of two loses, they must have noticed some of my past matches to put me in this tournament. I have always been a fan of being in a "division". Back in the XHF, I was in the Hardcore Division, winning the championship once, and back in VXW, I was the Xtreme Division. No one else was more dominate than me in there. I won the VXW Xtreme Championship in my own creation of a match, Extreme Elevation...in a triple threat match. And I held that title until the VXW closed. I still carry the Xtreme title with me to make me always remember my past. But, I am going to think of the new X-Division as something like the Xtreme Division or Hardcore Division.
Chad Lights: Ok, speaking of the division so far, what do you think of the other seven in this new division?
Joe Everyman: Well, I must say, they are some of the most elite of the nCw. I mean, look at it. One of the top runners is Reckless Jack, my former friend and teammate. I know for a fact he will go far here. Look at some of the others. Ricky Johnson, amazing, Danny Vice, amazing, Seth Drabble, amazing. All of these men are more than skilled to be in something like this. See, we are all setting a new standard for the others in the nCw. We will be setting the bar for everyone here. But, just because I am talking all high and mighty about the others does not mean I'm going to give up. I know for a fact that Shaun Wilson is a great wrestler...but I know I am better than him. I know that if I prepare myself like I have been for all of my matches here, I'll do fine.
Chad Lights: One final question before I let you go, and that is this. If you would to win the X-Division title, how would you want the rest of the division to be like?
Joe Everyman: Well, I would love to see the entire roster going for this title if they are not going for the others. I want to see a ton of "X-Division style" rules matches. But, I also want us to make our own style. I want people to look at our matches and go...my god...what are they thinking? I want people to be almost shocked at some of the moves we are doing. And I know the rest of the division is capable of doing that. Cause, it is like this, if I may quote something for a second. Great wrestling is about great wrestling, but if you get good wrestlers doing great wrestling, then that is great wrestling, but if you get great wrestlers doing great wrestling, then it is great great wrestling....yeah.
Chad Lights: Very insightful. Any final words?
Joe Everyman: Just one thing...Shaun Wilson...I'm coming for you. I'm ganna be pushing myself harder in this tournament than ever before...and bad thing for you, is that you be sent to the scrap pile after the first match...so sorry I had to kill all of your dreams before they even started...
