The International Invitational has come to an end. The success of the tournament has brought new found fame worldwide. Many nations around the globe now wait for another to be called to action and nCw's stock has risen all thanks to The Internationals. Yet, America continues to spit on their beliefs as if they were nothing more than a pair of stereotypical clowns. A Night to Remember brings about change and USA will change their opinions when their heroes fail just as America's military forces failed in Vietnam.
Miranda: Bushido, I think that if we treated them with more respect they'd reciprocate it.
Bushido: ...
Miranda continues to try and make her point. Trying to change the attitudes of the team she manages before they find themselves without a job. Bushido doesn't care much about possible scenarios or showing a nation that continues to mock their heritage any form a respect.
Miranda: I know you guys think you're going to win tonight but maybe we should consider the possibility that we might lose.
Bushido: ...
Bushido knows that facing a legend is never an easy thing. Even paired with a jackass, Gib has still managed to prove he has what it takes to come through in the clutch. Still, even considering losing means you've already been beaten and Bushido is a warrior, not a loser. Not an American. He doesn't quit with things seem rough.
Miranda: This company can't stand us right now. If we are no longer champions, what's to keep them from firing us? Especially when they would like nothing more than to throw us out like yesterday's trash.
Bushido: ...
She continues to press the subject. Attempting to get a response from Bushido but he continues to sit without saying a word. Continues to meditate peacefully even with Miranda chirping in his ear.
Miranda: You're not even listening to me, are you?
Bushido: I am.
Miranda: Then what do you think?
Bushido: We will win.
Miranda: Sure it's easy to say but tonight is the night everyone brings their A-game. Everyone tries a little harder than they usually do and I know for a fact that Team America won this tournament just to end your reign.
Bushido holds up a silencing hand. Miranda stops talking and just stares at Bushido.
Bushido: *speaks Japanese*
Subtitles: One cannot predict the outcome of an unknown future. There are many possibilities and nothing is secure. Anything can happen and whatever occurs will be dealt with accordingly. You want us to consider losing to a bunch of American swine but why not instead have faith that we will overcome this adversity like we have before. These adversaries are nothing more than our next opponents. Don't make them seem like more than what they truly are.
Miranda: *speaks Japanese*
Subtitles: And what are they?
Bushido: Nothing.
Miranda: You sound so sure.
Bushido: They will try. We will try harder. They will be good. We will be better.
Bushido spins out of a sitting Indian position straight to his feet. He pulls Miranda in close by grabbing her shoulders and looks her directly in her eyes.
Bushido: Have faith.
She looks up at him as he slowly closes in for a kiss but before their lips could touch, Dragon bursts into the room and turns on the light.
Dragon: Tan escuro estan aqui. What are you two up to?
Bushido immediately pulls away and tries to look innocent as does Miranda. Dragon seems oblivious as he stares at his own reflection in the mirror.
Dragon: Today is the day! Ahora es el dia and nothing will stop us on our way to being the longest reigning champions. Right, Bushido?
Bushido nods his head in agreement as Miranda looks unsure but has their backs either way.
Dragon: A Night to Remember will be epico! The Internationals will steal the show as we steal America's pride. Gib and Simon will feel the wrath of Mexico and Japan as they go down in flames.
Bushido: Agreed.
Miranda: Don't forget Germany and China. Kesuke and I are art of this team also and it's only a matter of time before everyone realizes that we bring prestige to this sport.
Dragon: Claro que si! I'm glad you're on board Miranda. Now let's go get breakfast before destroying a nation.
Miranda: Eso me encantara.
Dragon wraps a muscular arm around Miranda and begins pulling her out the door. Before leaving, Miranda turns her head and mouths the words, "I do have faith in you" and they leave Bushido to gather his ring gear in a gym bag.
Bushido: *speaks Japanese*
Subtitles: I have heard the rumblings backstage as everyone is excited about Gib's huge return back to wrestling. They are accompanied by silly remarks about crude jokes and American flag main event panties. I don't think I've seen as much racism in one month than I have coming out of your promos. I expected a legend in this business to have a little more respect towards his champions and towards himself. Yet I am greeted with nation mocking and complete disregard for global decency. Childlike jokes about bald eagles and your antics guarding this nation's borders are nothing more than a ruse to hide your insecurities.
It's quite sad how you think like a five year old child and it's even sadder to think you've reproduced.
There's a little something missing in this sport. I mean besides understanding and acceptance, of course. And that something is prestige. Where has it gone? Did it go the way of honor and respect? Straight into the toilets of hicksville USA. Or maybe you prance around in underwear way too small for you just to throw us off? If that's the case, you'll find that we wont be so easily fooled like the rest of the nations participating in the tournament. Because no matter what you throw at us or say about our nationalities, we've heard it all before. Nothing you say or do will be offensive in any way. It will only work to reveal to the world that the great Gib is nothing more than great clown.
So juggle for us jester, tell us your jokes and make us laugh, Pagliacci.
And allow us to send you home with tears in your eyes.
Bushido finishes up stuffing his bag and zips it up. He swings it over his shoulders as he continues to speak.
Bushido: *speaks Japanese*
Subtitles: You and you're mullet loving friend, Simon Daye will see that we are more than just a couple of stereotypes in a world revolved around your Home of the Brave. We are fine tuned champions ready to defend our reign.
Something you will never understand, Simon.
Gib has taken you under his wing and all you can do to repay the favor is dream about getting into his daughter's pants. I have seen you wrestle. You're average at best. Yet you stand toe to toe against men that should easily defeat you and you do so for one reason only. You're a glutton for punishment. Your naivety towards the way your partner demeans you is absurd and if he's a clown what does that make you?
A clown's bitch perhaps only there to polish his balls.
You hitched your star to a falling star and in the end you wont see the success you dream about. You'll only witness your own demise thanks to a man that should have your back and should be doing everything within him to protect you. Instead he sends you into battle to take the blunt of the beatdown just so he could come in and steal your glory. How very American of you. Just another clog in Gib's clock working until rusty so he could find his time.
Wise up boy before it's too late.
Then again, it already is.
Bushido steps outside and grabs his shades from his breast pocket. He places them on the bridge of his nose as he breathes in the Las Vegas air. Nothing like the smell of lost hope and sadness to brighten up your day.
Bushido: *speaks Japanese*
Subtitles: The both of you claim that we have become nothing but jokes. That we have become hilarious stereotypes meant to entertain the masses. Failing to see that that's the way you see us. Not the way we are. You forget that we came into this company with hopes of bringing something better but before we were given a chance, you're bald eagle overshadowed us. This country once invited peoples of different backgrounds but now it's people do not hesitate to tell us to get out. You ruined us and our philosophies had to change. It was about survival and we've managed to make it this far by doing so. Many people have already decided that we are going to lose and if that's the case, then we will take you down with us.
We have something you don't
Faith that we are superior athletes than some has been and some wanna be.
The Internationals wont die and tonight you will remember our names like you remember the Alamo.
You just have to have a little faith.
Bushido steps into the limo and closes the door. Leaving the camera to film them driving away. Tonight will be a glorious night.
