Power Ten
The power ten is a personal pick of the people who have performed the best in the last week, both in and out of character. These are done purely as fun, but can be used in character for bragging rights or as an “accolade” etc.
NUMBER TEN: ANDREW JACOBSEN
Andrew, known effectionatly amongst the nCw faithful as “AJ Jr” had a great match against his oldest, and closest rival in Will Washington, and managed to prove that he has grown over his time in nCw and picked up one hell of a victory at the grandest stage of them all. I tip my hat sir.
NUMBER NINE: SPIKE KANE
When not hanging out with punk bands New Found Glory and Paramore, the God of Xtreme prides himself on putting on great matches and giving it all for his feuds. When the grudge match Vs Ortega was announced people got excited, and they were not let down when the two clashed in the ring years after their first momentous meeting.
NUMBER EIGHT: THE ACE
The Blonde Stallion has made quite a name for himself in nCw, so much so that the t-shirt he's wearing above fits quite well. Get it? A Night to Remember has been fairly good to The Ace, and he made yet another ANTR moment when he defeated Curtis D. Kanyon in a brutal two out of three falls match, that quite honestly is a candidate for match of the week.
NUMBER SEVEN: ALEX JONES
He calls himself the greatest nCw superstar to never hold the world championship and has had some of nCw's greatest matches and feuds, but at A Night to Remember he clashed with a very old foe in Joe Everyman. The two men worked very hard, and it showed in the ring, but Alex came through once again and now faces The King of nCw for the National Title. Thing is, can he beat him? And even if he does, what does this mean for his world title hopes?
NUMBER SIX: MIKE LASZLO
The first man to ever hold two nCw singles championships has been on a phenomenal run since capturing the Honor Championship so long ago. Laszlo has his sights set on legendary status and in the past has made a habit of calling out the big guns, who still have not answered that call (here's looking at you Spike!) Defeating Jackhammer solidified his position as both Honor and X Champion. Mike Laszlo has already made history!
NUMBER FIVE: ADAM KNITE
The King of nCw dropped arguably the greatest promo of 2012 so far this week against one of his oldest friends. Adam Knite put on a masterclass against Trent Helms in another candidate for match of the week and took the belt in the process becoming the new National Champion. Congratulations!
NUMBER FOUR: TEAM AMERICA
America! F*ck Yeah! Simon Daye and Gib finally dethrone the Internationals who have held the tag championships for some time in fantastic style, winning the tag tournament and defeating the champs at the biggest stage of them all, solidifiying themselves in nCw Tag Team History!
NUMBER THREE: KELLY KNITE
SHE DID IT!!!!! The original starlet finally solved the issues with her sister-in-law and retained control of the nCw company, not only that, but Zelda Knite's name and likeness too! …..didn't that happen to someone else just over a year ago? Kelly has always done right by the members of nCw, and I assure you, those of us who stood by her side, will not regret it!
NUMBER TWO: ALYSSON GARDNER
She wanted a Night to truly Remember....and now she goes down in history as one of the very few two time Starlet champions! Alysson Gardner has been on a riot since she returned clawing her way back up the ranks to the top where she ended after her accident. Congratulations on becoming a two time starlet champion, and.....possibly if the hints of the impending announcement between yourself and Spike is true, congratulations on something else?
NUMBER ONE: RICKY JOHNSON
A celebration with some b*tches? heh heh. There are legends in nCw, icons, gods, heroes, villains....you get the point. He was once “The Rockstar” but he will forever be known as the FIRST Grand Slam Champion nCw has ever seen. After a very, VERY long time in nCw straight Ricky Johnson finally realised his dream of being world champion. It took a few tries, but hey, who cares about that now? You have etched your name into the history books in superbly impressive style Ricky and I for one would like to congratulate you. Well done Mr Grand Slam.
