Today, at Best Buy, they finally changed out the Cars 2 Demo, that had been on the Xbox since like July, and put in the full version of WWE 12, which I guess THQ paid money to put into all Best Buys (Or Atleast my low-rent one in Temple, TX) I know it's the real deal, because I ended up unlocking a acheivement during the two matches I ended up playing.
First Impressions, The Graphics seem really good, well on the Entrances, didn't notice too much of a difference when in actually gameplay, then again, the Smackdown series had decent enough graphics as it is.
I ended up playing a match being Zack Ryder versus Daniel Bryan in the first match, the first thing I noticed, that the Control Scheme for the game has changed greatly, as "I was flicking the Analog Stick, trying to do a grapple for several moments, realizing that it wasn't doing anything, it wasn't until late in the match, that I realized, the A Button was for Grapples, by then Bryan had whooped my ass, and already locked on the Labell Lock earier in the match (Which has it own animation, as opposed to being the Crossface for the other games)
The game seems to flow smoother, however Bryan ended up dispatching me and disapointing all the Broskis everwhere.
I spent most of the rest of my break looking around the Create a Move, as well as the Create a moveset.
Now, granted I was trying to see if finally this year, if I could create a Bioshock for Trent that was closer to his own, I know the move is in the game, but it looks a little flat as a always (well atleast the one from the other games) However to my disapointment, there will not be a spinning Bioshock once again for Trent...
So I went into the moveset, and was looking thru some new moves, they put into the game...Not as many new move as in other games, but there is a new Tombstone in the game, one that doesn't look like one the Undertaker would do, and looks more like a Classic Tombstone.
There were three new moves that stuck out greatly to me.
Tilt A Whirl Small Package, which is basically the opponent, trying to hit a Tilt A Whirl Slam on you, only for you to reverse the move into a Small Package, Falcon fans can rejoice, there is a new version of the Falcons nest!
Another one was a newly reanimated True Conviction, but also known to us nCw fans, as Spike Kane's Spike Impaler v. 2, which is a Suplex to where you floatover into a Stunner, it looks really nice.
So as I was wrapping up my break, I went to look at the Fireman Carry Gutbuster, also known as Trent's Bioshock, when I notice there was a second one in the game, while it's the same move, the Selling for the move, looks alot better, which makes me happy, Tomorrow while at work, I'm gonna work upon looking at some of the other things.
