I wasn't always this nice guy you see before you today.
There was a time in my life where normality was the substance I hungered for. I searched for the perfect life with the perfect family and I worked hard to create instances where this was possible. I represented my family name to the fullest as I went from place to place in search of a home where I could settle down with the past, present and future. I had a wife, adorable twin girls and everything was heading in the right direction until one fateful night changed it all. I was always big, always strong, always better than any opponent but it wasn't my size and strength that made me dominant. It was my motivation to be a better father, husband, man.
Those better days, however, are extinct.
The only thing that remains now is pleasure and pain. There is no substance.
Just blood and cum.
I have become a simple man seeking simple comforts. Easily attainable by the lives I disrupt and by whose bodies I make mine. Sometimes there is no deep explanation for the things I do. Sometimes it's as simple as the fly flying headfirst into the fly trap. I seek refuge in violence and I search peace in chaos. There's nothing in my life left to steer me clear from the anarchy I dispense and if you look into my eyes you can see it.
You just refuse to look me in the eyes for fear of what you might find.
I am no one's slave. My actions are my own and I do whatever I want, when I want. I am not a follower. Simply a sympathizer and I believe in a cause. A cause that will bury everything you stand for under piles of ash. I take great pleasure in watching you squirm, in being the source of your torment and while you reach for straws in hopes of finding some semblance of sense as to why I chose you, I'm dismantling this farce that you're immortal. You may know who lies behind the mask and you may know why it is I do what I do but you don't know me. If you did, you would be better prepared for the onslaught ahead. Instead it seems you've given up before this has started.
It didn't take much to cripple you and it wont take much more to end you.
It's what I do. It's what I get paid to do. I get paid to give these people what they paid to see. The destruction of their favorite superhero. You either die the hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain, right? I'm just making sure you die with your legacy still intact. There's no rhyme or reason to what I'm going to do at A New Dawn. I'm just one of those guys that likes to watch the world burn.
What better world to burn than the one belonging to a delusional Bird.
Falcon, you're the man! I'm sure you get that every time you attend one of those fan signings. I bet you're fan mail consists of people blowing smoke up your ass. Your everyday life must be a struggle fending off admirer after admirer. It must be hell going day in and day out knowing millions of kids out there worship you as a GOD. You must suffer feeling admiration and praise every GODD*MN moment you're awake. That explains why you spend your days sulking it up and nights emoing it up in your basement. You've been there, done that. There's nothing the great Falcon can't do.
Except put me down for the count of ten.
This life has defeated me on countless occasions, taking everything that made me human away and leaving me to rot behind a cell.
I'll be damned if allow someone like you to make me a lesson.

{Sense is throwing things into a gym bag while Megan hovers over him. Lex doesn't seem to be hearing anything she is saying and neither do we. Her lips move but no noise comes from them as Sense continues to throw stuff into the bag. He finally turns up to her and we catch the last part of her interrogation.}
Megan Sanderson: ... Where are you going?!
Lex Sense: I have things I need to take care of.
Megan Sanderson: Things, huh?
Lex Sense: I probably wont be back until after A New Dawn.
Megan Sanderson: What do I care? It's not like you're here when you're here anyway.
{Megan storms off into the other room, leaving Sense to finish up packing when the sounds of a vibrating phone are heard. Lex looks to his left and goes to pick it up when a knock on the door interrupts his focus. He looks up to the door and down on his phone before opting towards the door. He opens it wide open to find no one standing behind it. Sense is a bit confused as to whether or not someone was knocking on the door to begin with before going back to the ringing phone. He lifts it up off the table to find no one is calling. It seems both were figments of his imagination. Sense goes back to what he was doing, packing things into his bag.}
Lex Sense: When I first appeared here in nCw, I accumulated a number of wins without losses. I was undefeated for about a month and a half and while that may seem like nothing to someone as legendary as you, it meant the world to me. One of those wins was against you. Up until that point, I wasn't sure if I could stick around here long enough to be someone. I was on shaky grounds as to whether this was what I wanted to do for the remainder of my life. When I faced you, you put me in my place. I won but I learned something that night...
Winning and losing isn't everything.
Even losing to me you were still the victor. People cheered your name over mine even though I was the one with an arm raised high. I promised myself that night that one day I would be worthy enough to rival your storied career. In a weird way, you motivated me to be the monster I am today. Even without championship belts I remain a champion. I retire men, beat them in their own game. I take those that think they have some power over me and I leave them beaten and destroyed in the very creations of their own sick and twisted minds. I take what is theirs and I make them mine. Your legacy will remain in tact but your future will belong to me.
Thanks to the wonderful lessons you yourself taught me along the way.
{Lex throws a few more items into his bag before zipping it up. He looks around, almost as if wondering if the knocking or ringing actually occurred but he shakes the notion off and then stares straight into the camera.}
Lex Sense: Others ignore you. The only ones that truly care about what you have to say are your fans. Everybody in the back would much rather tear at their own skin with razorblades then listen to another one of your self righteous lessons. Not me though. I took in every helpful word you gave your opponents as if you were giving them to me. You became a mentor of sorts, teaching me the ins and outs of nCw. I sat back there and learned, making sure not to make many mistakes. I listened to every word and I utilized every recommendation.
I guess I should thank you...
But I wont.
Simply because you didn't hold my hand. I had to endure and do everything on my own. In fact, every wise word that came from your mouth, I did the exact opposite. I am the thing you try to teach rookies not to be. I am that path that you warn others not to take. I am everything you're not and I aim to prove that even someone like me can build a storied career and become a legend. I am the very lesson you try to teach others not to be and I'm sick of you thinking that you're better simply because you've been here longer. I wish to the things you've done only I will do them better. This isn't personal at all. Simply business.
Plucking your feathers will be another line on the resume.
Ending you will be another credit to my name.
You are a dying breed, Falcon.
The last of your kind and nothing will prevent you from going the ways of my better days straight into extinction.
{Sense throws the bag over his shoulder and then goes to lift the phone off the table. As he grabs it, it rings in his hand and in an instant he's transported into the back of a limo. Lex looks around the cabin and tries to figure out what the hell just happened. He was packing at home and now he sits in front of a man cloaked in shadows. He shakes the confusion away as the man offers Lex a Cuban cigar. Sense takes it, not really knowing what is going on but he's been in this type of situation before.}
Lex Sense: What just happened?
Mysterious Stranger: Is everything alright?
Lex Sense: I'm not... Sure, everything is fine.
Mysterious Stranger: You seem a little confused. Do you need some fresh air?
Lex Sense: No. Where are we going?
Mysterious Stranger: To meet up with some... Associates. Men that believe in the cause.
Lex Sense: Why?
Mysterious Stranger: Just so that we all meet face to face before we start working together.
Lex Sense: I don't care. I don't need them to beat Falcon.
Mysterious Stranger: Just insurance, my friend.
Lex Sense: I don't need it. I told you I would take him out. I mean what I say.
Mysterious Stranger: And I believe you. It's always good to have a back up plan just in...
Lex Sense: There is no just in case. I will win by my own accord. Nobody will interfere with my match. Understand?
Mysterious Stranger: ... Sure. I will leave it in your own very capable hands.
{The Mysterious Stranger leans forward to light up Sense's cigar but when he does so, Lex is transported through time and space and winds up in the locker room getting ready for his match. He's taping up his wrist and he has the look of a man that can't tell what the f*ck is going on. He keeps moving from moment to moment in a matter of seconds and now he finds himself with a woman standing over him. That woman is Ayla and she seems to be waiting for an answer. It's just too bad Sense doesn't know the question.}
Ayla st. James: ... So?!
Lex Sense: So what?
Ayla st. James: Are you being stupid? I asked you a question.
Lex Sense: You're going to have to ask me again.
Ayla st. James: You know what? Just forget it.
Lex Sense: I really don't know what you...
Ayla st. James: Just forget it!
{She storms out of the room and Sense has no idea what is going on. Relapsing of time has never been this blatant. Lex doesn't know how to explain it. All he knows is he has a match to get ready for.}
You have survived worse than me, right?
There have been many foes similar to me. Big men that have little to nothing to offer other than being incredible hulks. I would like to think that I am different. In fact, I know it. You are a man who has been able to overcome major obstacles in his career. You wouldn't be where you are today if you hadn't. The thing is though, victory over those like me has made you weak. You feel the need to generalize those similar to my build as if size has anything to do with this. It doesn't. It never did. I never looked at you as smaller. I only looked at you as a worthy competitor. One that could test me like only Falcon could.
I expected more from you but I guess you really don't have much left.
This fight between us, it's just getting started and I hope you are ready to go all the way.
Don't half ass your attempts here because if you give me the chance, I will break you.
I will take everything that you hold dear and I will make them mine.
You have so much to look forward to...
Except for a longer lasting career.
