MATCH ONE
Xavier Williams vs. Caleb Lockwood
Singles Match
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{The intro of "Gasoline" starts as the lights fall low, as spots lights blink around the arena.}
"I check you like I might quit, comin out ya damn mouth
catch you while tha cameras off, show up to ya damn house
'Like excuse me MA’AM where such & such ride hard no buckle up'
All left hooks, right uppercuts, shoot you like the beat then **** you up"
{Xavier emerges on the ramp as the crowd gets loud. Black hoodie, hood up, and black skull bandanna covering his face. Xavier walks to the side of the stage, as he just looks up into the stands. He walks back to the middle and drops to a knee, he looks out into the crowd and a pulls down the bandanna, he looks up and a smirk comes over his face, he stand up and lets out a loud yell as he makes his way down the ramp.}
Amber Ashe: "The following contest is scheduled for one fall.... Now making his way to the ring.... From Atlanta, Georgia.... Weighing in tonight at two hundred and forty pounds.... 'Black Jesus'.... XAVIER WILLIAMS!"
{He slaps hands with some of fans at ringside, before sliding into the ring. He stands on the middle rope and looks out into the crowd. He points up to the fans in the upper decks, then pounds his chest. He does his trademark 'X' across his chest, before doing his signature gun taunt toward the camera before hopping off the ropes and going into the corner as the music starts to die down.}
Eric Hardy: "We're starting the show off right with a former World Champion, Xavier Williams. Not a bad way to get things rolling, eh Dave?"
Dave Holland: "I'm actually really excited for this match. Any time we get to see 'Black Jesus' in action, it's a special night. He's really going to showcase his talents here tonight."
Willy Carter: "Being that Dave is a former World Champion as well... and I'm black... If you could put us together, you'd get Xavier Williams!"
Dave Holland: "What are you implying, Willy?"
{The drumbeat of "Rise Above" sounds over the PA, and the sound of harsh guitars ushers in Caleb Lockwood. He smirks, bouncing on the soles of his feet and shouting at the crowd, shaking his head.}
Amber Ashe: "And his opponent.... From Oakland, California.... Weighing in at one hundred and eighty-five pounds.... He is 'The Master of Gravity'.... CALEB LOCKWOOD!"
{He fixes his gaze on the ring and grins, charging down. Lockwood leaps into the ring, kipping up and playing to the crowd. His music dies down as he moves into his corner, awaiting the bell.}
Willy Carter: "And here comes that boy Caleb Lockwood! He flies through the air... WITH THE GREATEST OF EASE!"
Eric Hardy: "He's one of our most exciting performers on the roster. His win-loss record isn't all that impressive, but his high-flying skills are second to none."
Dave Holland: "Lockwood has been uber impressive over the past few months, and I really think he's got a chance to do something big here tonight."
Eric Hardy: "This is sure to be a fast-paced, hard-hitting showdown! I can't wait to get it started!"
{Referee Johnny Lei gets the match started as the timekeeper rings the bell, and the two wrestlers immediately start to move about the ring. They lean towards the center and slap hands in a show of respect, before moving in a circular pattern, jockeying for the first move. Xavier reaches out to grab Lockwood, but he ducks under and behind Xavier, grabbing him around the waist. Williams reaches down and unhooks Lockwood's hands, before pulling him forward into a Side Headlock. Lockwood quickly pulls his head free and grabs Xavier's arm, wrenching it to the side. Caleb attempts an Irish Whip, but the bigger man can't be moved. He Whips Lockwood into the ropes and ducks down, going for the Back Body Drop, but Lockwood rolls across his back and lands on his feet. As Williams straightens up, he turns, and Lockwood hits the ropes, coming off with a Leaping Leg Lariat. Williams catches him mid-move in the Powerbomb position, but Lockwood quickly turns it into a Hurricanrana that sends Xavier flipping to the mat. Xavier is up immediately and goes for a Back Elbow shot that Lockwood ducks, and hits the ropes again. Lockwood comes running in and Dropkicks Xavier low in the shin, causing him to drop to a knee. Caleb hits the ropes again and flies in, hitting Williams in the head with a Shining Wizard. He drops to the canvas and Lockwood quickly dives on the pin. 1.... 2. Williams powers out and sends Lockwood flying into the air. Caleb lands on his feet and immediately turns his body one hundred and eighty degrees, before jumping in the air with the Standing Moonsault. Xavier gets his knees up, and Lockwood's ribs collide with them, knocking the wind out of him.}
Dave Holland: "Oh man! This action is coming fast and furious right out of the gate."
Eric Hardy: "Caleb Lockwood is buzzing around the ring like a gnat, and Xavier Williams is matching him counter for counter."
Willy Carter: "Lockwood is moving like he's on fast forward! My boy 'Black Jesus' needs to slow him down."
Dave Holland: "Those knees to the gut can do just that. It's hard to leap and jump when you can't catch your breath."
{Xavier is up quickly, and Lockwood stumbles forward while holding his gut. Williams grabs him and spins around, planting Lockwood down hard into the mat with a Double A Spinebuster. Williams backs into the ropes and comes off with the Senton across the prone body of his opponent. He lays his back across Lockwood and reaches back, hooking the leg. 1.... 2.. Caleb kicks out and Williams goes back on the attack. He pushes up to his feet and drags Lockwood up by an arm before putting a boot in his gut. Xavier pulls Lockwood in and hoists him up with ease into the Brainbuster position. Lockwood brings a knee down into the top of the head of his opponent... and another. Xavier looses his grip and Lockwood looks his head and rolls him down to the mat into an Inside Cradle. 1.... 2.. Xavier powers free. Both men are up quickly, and Williams catches Lockwood with a Knee Lift to the chest that staggers him backwards, before following up by pulling him in to an STO. Williams looks down at Lockwood before running up and stepping on the second rope and springboarding back for the Lionsault. Lockwood gets his knees up to block the move, but having done the same thing earlier, Xavier sees it coming. The former World Champion lands on his feet and watches as Lockwood sits up. Xavier rebounds off the ropes and looks to score big with his Sliding Elbow Strike he calls 'The Kill', but Lockwood drops back to the mat and avoids it. The smaller wrestler kips up to his feet and runs to the ropes, stepping up and jumping, nailing Williams with a Springboard Roundhouse Kick just as he makes it to his feet!}
Willy Carter: "It looked like Xavier was in the driver's seat when he went for The Kill, but Lockwood turned it around on him."
Dave Holland: "That Springboard Roundhouse was picture perfect, and it took the big man off of his feet. Mission accomplished."
Eric Hardy: "Now it's up to him to follow up."
{Williams is flat on his back as Lockwood gets to his feet. He looks out towards the crowd and steps through the ropes, preparing to head to the top rope. Williams begins to stir, so he stops and watches from the apron. As Xavier spins around, Lockwood jumps to the top rope and springboards forward, hitting Williams in the chest with a Springboard European Uppercut. The move sends Xavier to the mat violently, and he rolls towards the ropes, and out to the apron. 'Black Jesus' gets to his feet on the outside of the ropes and Lockwood goes in for the attack. He charges the opponent, but Xavier ducks his head and sends Caleb over the top with his shoulder. Lockwood shows impressive balance by grabbing the top rope and landing on his feet, on the apron, next to his opponent. Xavier steps to the side before coming forward with a Side Savate Kick to the shoulder that nearly knocks Lockwood to the floor. Williams steps through the ropes, back into the ring, and grabs for Lockwood. The quick wrestler drops and delivers a well-placed shoulder to the gut, keeling over Williams. Lockwood then steps on the bottom rope and sends himself over, looking for the Slingshot Sunset Flip Pin. The smaller man tries to pull Xavier down into the pinning predicament, but Williams' superior strength keeps him up right before he drops straight down to his knees, atop Lockwood's arms. He reaches back to grab a leg for the pin. 1..... 2.... Lockwood brings his other leg up under Xavier's arm and rolls him backwards in a pinning situation of his own. 1.... 2.... Williams breaks free and gets to his feet. Lockwood quickly follows and Williams swings wildly at him. Caleb ducks and gets behind Xavier, before jumping up and looking for the Reverse Hurricanrana. As he jumps, Xavier reaches back and grabs hold of his legs, powering him up and trapping him in the Torture Rack!}
Dave Holland: "The Torture Rack!? It's been a while since we've seen this move. It's an oldy but a goody, and it's always effective."
Eric Hardy: "With Xavier's size and power advantage, he could tear Lockwood in half with this submission hold."
Willy Carter: "I bet that's exactly what he wants to do!"
{Caleb finds himself trapped in the center of the ring, tortured by one of the greatest submission holds ever. Xavier bounces up and down, doing damage to the spine and back of his opponent, searching for the submission victory. Lockwood yells out in pain, refusing to tap out, desperately trying to break the hold. Caleb is able to get a leg free and spin around, grabbing Xavier by the head and drilling him in the mat with a reversal DDT. Both men are lying flat on the mat as the referee starts to count them out. The crowd begins to cheer both men on, with duling chants for both individuals. Williams and Lockwood reach their feet at nearly the same time, using the ropes for balance. They look across the ring at one another before releasing the rope and charging one another. Xavier ducks under Caleb and ends up behind him, grabbing his arms and instantly driving him back to the mat with a Straight Jacket Suplex. Xavier gets his bearings on the mat and crawls over, going for the pin on his opponent. 1.... 2..... Lockwood gets his shoulder up!}
Eric Hardy: "What Lockwood lacks in size, he makes up in heart... and he's showing a lot of heart in kicking out from that move."
Willy Carter: "Both of these boys are incredible! This match could go either way at this point."
Dave Holland: "Never underestimate the heart of a champion."
{Xavier pushes up to his feet and guides Lockwood up as well, catching a European Uppercut from the smaller man as he does, causing him to take a step back. Lockwood kicks Williams in the side, once, twice, and as he goes for a third, Xavier catches his leg and pulls him into Belly-to-Belly position. Xavier tosses Lockwood overhead with the Release Belly-to-Belly Suplex, but the parkour master lands on his feet. Xavier gets to his feet following the move just as Caleb runs by him in a blur. Lockwood does a handspring into the ropes and comes flying back at Williams with a Handspring Back Elbow as he turns around. Williams ducks his head and lifts his arms, flipping Lockwood over his back as he goes for the elbow. Lockwood again lands on his feet, but Xavier turns around quickly and powers him up and down across his knee with a spine-rattling Uranage Backbreaker. Williams gets to his feet and looks down at Lockwood before patting his elbow pad. He slaps the pad again and again as Lockwood starts to stir to his feet. As Caleb gets up, Xavier spins and looks to take his head off with the Roaring Elbow, but Lockwood is able to duck it, before leaping up and catching Williams in the chest with a Reverse Roundhouse Kick.}
Dave Holland: "If Xavier had nailed that big Roaring Elbow there, this thing could have been over.
Willy Carter: "And Lockwood's head would have probably ended up in the crowd!"
{Williams stumbles back from the maneuver, but stays on his feet, using the ropes to keep upright. As 'Black Jesus' steps out from the ropes, Lockwood dives at him with a Cross Body Block, but the bigger man is able to catch him in mid-air, and shift him around. Xavier carries Lockwood, running and driving him spine-first into the turnbuckles. Williams quickly strikes away, lighting up Lockwood's chest with a rapid-fire series of Knife Edge Chops. Xavier then quickly moves back to the opposing corner and prepares to strike, yelling out 'ARE YOU OKAY?'. Xavier runs in flies at Lockwood, looking for the Buster Wolf Knees in the corner. Lockwood drops to the mat and avoids the move, sending Xavier crashing into the turnbuckles, knees-first. Williams turns around in the corner, holding his knee as Lockwood runs in and drills him under the chin with a Running Knee. Lockwood keeps Xavier in the corner, grabbing his head and following up with a Running Bulldog that sends his the former World Champion into the mat.}
Eric Hardy: "Again Lockwood narrowly avoids disaster and strikes back with a big move of his own."
Dave Holland: "These guys are giving it all they've got here tonight. That's something I like to see."
Willy Carter: "Nobody wants to lose!"
{Lockwood rolls Williams over and goes for the pin. 1.... 2..... Xavier gets his shoulder up! Lockwood takes a moment to assess the situation, before grabbing the bigger man by the arm and leg and dragging him towards the corner. Caleb then grabs the top rope and looks for the Split-Legged Moonsault, but Xavier pops up as he jumps, and crotches him on the top rope. Xavier steps up to the second ropes and grabs Lockwood, preparing to send him flying off with a Super Back Suplex. Lockwood tries to block the move by delivering a big back elbow to Xavier's head, stunning him momentarily. Lockwood sees the effect and quickly strikes another... and another... and another. Caleb connects with a fifth back elbow to the skull, sending Williams falling back hard to the mat. Lockwood stands up on the top turnbuckle, gaining his balance before looking back at the prone body of Xavier Williams. He quickly turns his head back around and leaps, performing two full rotations... and nailing the Skyscraper Press! He lands on top of Williams and stays there are the referee drops down to the mat. 1..... 2..... 3!}
Amber Ashe: "Here is your winner by pinfall.... CALEB LOCKWOOD!"
{Caleb Lockwood's theme hits as he cautiously pushes up to his feet, holding his sternum. Referee Johnny Lei comes over and raises Lockwood's free hand in victory as the crowd roars for him.}
Eric Hardy: "Caleb Lockwood has pulled off the upset! The kid just beat a former World Champion!"
Dave Holland: "I knew he had it in him. Both men were entirely game for the fight, but Lockwood was the better man tonight."
Willy Carter: "It looks like he can hardly believe it!"
{Lockwood drops his arm and looks around before running up the turnbuckles and standing on the top rope, raising his arm out towards the approving crowd. He jumps down and over the top rope, out to the arena floor. He backs up to the security railing and the fans give him a congratulatory welcome. Xavier Williams gets to his feet and looks out at Lockwood, giving a small nod. Lockwood runs up the ramp, high-fiving all of the outstretched hands of the fans.}
Dave Holland: "That was a fast-paced and exciting match to start out the show, and I'm sure the rest of Collision will deliver as well."
Eric Hardy: "We've only just begun, Dave. There's much more exciting NCW action to come. And that main event? It's going to be a wrestling clinic."
Willy Carter: "I wouldn't miss this show even if you weren't paying me to be here, so you fans shouldn't either!"
Dave Holland: "All of your favorite NCW wrestlers are going to be on display tonight, so don't miss a minute!"

Kelly and Simon
“Teasing”
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{Sydney stands in front of the door to Kelly’s office, guarding it like she was told when the sight of Simon Daye walking towards her causes her to turn her head and not look at him, however that doesn’t stop him from approaching.}
Simon Daye: Hey Syd.. I’m sorry I haven’t returned your calls or texts all week. I kinda lost my mind this week... and I just wasn’t thinking clearly... and... what’s wrong?
{She shakes her head and still refuses to look at him.}
Simon Daye: Look I know I was stupid, and I thought you hated me and I thought what I was doing was all for nothing, but I realized that’s a stupid way to think....
Sydney: Stop.
Simon Daye: What? What did I do?
Sydney: I saw you with those two girls, I saw them go into your hotel room.
Simon Daye: You saw that? How?.... Kelly. Ok I get it... but I promise you, I kicked them out of the room before we did anything. Which is what I was trying to say, I lost my mind, I went crazy... I don’t know what I was thinking. I really do care about you, and I want to fight for you.
Sydney: Wh... what... really? You... oh god no... don’t tell me that.
{Sydney wraps her arms around her stomach and looks like she’s about to throw up as she leans against the wall and slides down until she’s crouched against it with her torso between her legs.}
Simon Daye: Syd, are you ok? What’s wrong?
{Just then the door to Kelly’s office and Kelly is standing there staring at the two. Kelly smiles as Simon glares at her.}
Kelly Fox: Ahh Simon, I take it you’re here because she’s breaking the news to you?
Simon Daye: What news?
Kelly Fox: Oh I’m sorry... she didn’t tell you yet... allow me.
Sydney: Kelly don’t.
Kelly Fox: No come on Sydney, he should know about NCW’s latest couple.
Sydney: We’re not a couple!
{Simon steps back, possibly putting two and two together and glares at Kelly.}
Simon Daye: What are you talking about?
Kelly Fox: Well I hooked Sydney and Cyrus up on a date and lets just say... one thing led to another... and apparently Syd with a stomach full of wine becomes really easy. Maybe you should have tried that instead of this Superman act.
Simon Daye: She wouldn’t do that... right Sy...
{Sydney lowers her head and closes her eyes, a reaction that speaks louder than any words.}
Simon Daye: I... I...I’m going to go.
{Simon in complete shock drops his head, looking at the floor. Kelly stops him as she calls out to him.}
Kelly Fox: Before you go... it was fun playing this game with you Simon... best of luck.
{Kelly smiles devilishly as Simon just keeps walking and Sydney puts her hands behind her head trying to hide from the world, we fade back to ringside for the next match..}

MATCH TWO
Will Washington and Curtis Kanyon vs. Ken Davison and Joe Everyman
Tag Team Match
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
{Live To Rise by Soundgarden starts blasting over the PA system. Pyros are going off on the stage all over the place. Joe Everyman then comes out onto the stage. Joe walks down the ramp while holding their arms up towards the crowd, who has a mixed but mostly face reaction.}
Amber Ashe: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Washington, DC, weighing in at 252 pounds, Joe Everyman!
Eric Hardy: Joe Everyman said he wasn’t going to say everything he had to say about Will Washington this week. Do you think that it’s a smart strategy to save some of his words for another time?
Dave Holland: Maybe. It’s a risky move. If he’s holding back, it had better be good.
{Joe then comes to the end of the ramp and does a standing jump onto the apron. Joe then climbs into the ring through the ropes and looks around in the crowd and hold up his arm. Then loud blue pyros shoot from the ring posts. Joe then stands and waits.}
Amber Ashe: And his partner…
{The lights go down as “God's Gonna Cut You Down” by Johnny Cash fills the room. With each clap in the song, the lights come up and disappear. The spotlight focuses on the entrance way as a man underneath a hooded trench coat walks out with his hands folded in front him. He walks down to the ring, entirely focused on the task at hand.}
Amber Ashe: From Boston, Massachusetts, weighing in at 219 pounds, he is the nCw X Champion, “Godly” Ken Davison!
Eric Hardy: An uncharacteristically quiet week from the X Champion. Seems he’s decided to focus wholeheartedly on the match before him.
Willy Carter: Ken Davison is a calculating man. After whooping up on Mike Laszlo in that Pawn Shop match and his own partner last week, he’s gotta be hungry for the hat trick.
{Davison slides into the center of the ring and shrugs his jacket off his then extends his arms as a laser circles the arena. It centers on Davison's forehead before the sound of a gunshot cuts off the music. The lights come up, with Davison still standing in the middle of the ring.}
Amber Ashe: And their opponents…
{"Lord of the Thunder" by Rhapsody hits the speakers as Curtis D. Kanyon emerges from the curtain. He has a sledgehammer slung over his shoulder. Curtis pounds his chest with his fists then raises the hammer in the air.}
Amber Ashe: Introducing first, from Asbury Park, New Jersey, weighing in at 260 pounds, Curtis Kanyon!
Eric Hardy: Curtis Kanyon back in action after missing last week, and he’s ready to put that hammer down on Joe and Davison.
{He walks down to the ring, nodding to the fans. He grabs a sign from a fan in support of his cause, and shows it to the camera! Curtis then climbs into the ring and goes to the turnbuckles. He climbs a turnbuckle and pounds his chest, then screams "The archangel is here! Prepare for the glory of battle!" He points to the crowd with his hammer, then hoists it straight up into the air and yells "BANG!" He then gets down and awaits the match to start.}
Amber Ashe: And his partner…
{The lights in the arena go dark and the crowd anticipation amplifies. ‘Battle of Heroes’ by John Williams hits throughout the arena, giving us an epic feel, before a single spotlight shines down at the top of the ramp. Will Washington steps out into the spotlight and soaks in its rays. After a moment of this, Will throws a punch and an explosion of pyrotechnics goes off on each side of the spotlight, and the arena lights come back on. Will looks to both sides of the crowd before smirking and starting down the ramp.}
Amber Ashe: Making his way to the ring, from Cambridge, Massachusetts, weighing in at 232 pounds, he is the Patriotic Paragon, Will Washington!
Willy Carter: Aww BABY! Red, White and BANG! are in the house! You gotta LOVE IT!
Dave Holland: It’s a catchy name, but I’d like it more if you hadn’t been raving about it ALL NIGHT during the breaks.
{Washington walks down the ramp with a certain swagger as the feeling of superiority washes over him. He reaches the arena steps and walks up them before turning around to play to the crowd. Our hero turns back around and wipes his boots on the outside ring apron before stepping through the ropes. He climbs to the top turnbuckle and smirks out towards the fans before dropping back down and removing his dog tags, handing them to someone at ringside. Washington looks backs into a corner and stands there, getting loose while waiting for the match to start.}
Eric Hardy: Looks like Curtis and Joe starting for their respective teams…and here we go!
{The bell rings and Curtis immediately rushes Joe, looking for a clothesline. Everyman dips, hooking Kanyon’s arm, and brings him over with a crisp arm drag. Curtis bounces to his feet and tries again, meeting with the same result. Everyman stands, grabbing Kanyon’s arm and twisting it around into a hammerlock, and sets him up for the Pepsi Twist! Joe spins, but Curtis ducks under easily, hooking his arms into a full nelson and bringing him crashing down to the mat with a full nelson slam!}
Dave Holland: Joe started out strong there with those deep Ricky Steamboat-like arm drags, but he tried to go too fancy, too soon, and Curtis Kanyon’s veteran instincts allowed him to drop Joe with that brutal full nelson slam.
{Curtis lays the boots into Joe, roughly hauling him to his feet. He delivers a stiff right hand, staggering Everyman, and Irish whips him to the ropes, catching Joe with a brutal powerslam! Curtis stands, barking “WHO DA MAN?!” to the crowd, and Will Washington signals for a tag. Kanyon drags Joe over by his arm, and tags in Will. The men whip Joe to the ropes again, delivering a double hip toss, and follow up with a crisp double elbow drop! Joe clutches his sternum as Will covers immediately. 1! 2! And Everyman throws his shoulder up!}
Eric Hardy: Impressive teamwork from Washington and Kanyon so far, keeping Joe Everyman isolated and out of his corner.
Willy Carter: Of course! After all, this is Red, White and BANG! They ooze teamwork and skill!
{Will hits a brutal stomp to the gut of Everyman, causing Joe to double over in pain, and he follows up with a Sudden Impact clothesline! Joe hits the canvas hard, and Will covers again. 1...2…and another kickout from Joe Everyman. Will shakes his head, pulling him up to his feet, and hooks in a standing dragon sleeper! He wrenches back on the hold, as Johnnie Lei asks Joe if he wants to submit. Joe shakes his head, struggling in the hold, and Will wrenches back on the sleeper! Joe refuses to tap, throwing punches towards Will, and Washington just looks at him, shrugging before hauling him up and spiking him on the top of his head with ISHMAEL’S REVENGE! Cover! 1! 2! And Joe once again powers out of the pin attempt, as Will appears to be shocked!}
Eric Hardy: What a kickout! What resiliency, what fortitude being shown by Joe Everyman!
Dave Holland: Will Washington’s words must have gotten under his skin somehow, but he’s fighting through it nonetheless!
{Will angrily hauls Joe up off the mat, front facelocking him and dragging him to his corner. Kanyon tags in, and Will puts Joe into a modified abdominal stretch, as Kanyon starts laying in with rights and lefts. Lei starts counting, and Washington releases the hold, stepping back onto the apron. Curtis grins, hitting a knee lift to Everyman’s midsection, and stuffs him between his legs, setting up for the Lanced! Joe, surprisingly, kicks off, backdropping out of the move, and when Kanyon gets to his feet, Joe leaps and plants him face-first into the mat with the AURORA DRIVER! Both men are down, as Will and Davison signal for the tag!}
Eric Hardy: An incredible counter by Joe Everyman, and this looks like the opening he needed! Will he be able to capitalize?
Willy Carter: Let’s hope not. MAKE THAT TAG, CURTIS!
{Kanyon forces himself to his elbows, getting enough leverage to put a foot under himself. Joe, for his part, is struggling back to his feet. Curtis glances behind, and he springs to his corner, tagging Will. Washington immediately moves to springboard in, but Everyman, as if sensing him coming, jumps forward, tagging in Ken Davison to the roar of the crowd! Will manages to drop into the ring on his feet, incensed.}
Willy Carter: Look at that coward Joe Everyman! Running so he doesn’t have to get his ass whooped by Will Washington again! Baaaawk bawk bawk bawk bawk!
Dave Holland: As a veteran tag team wrestler, I take offense to that. He wasn’t chickening out, he was doing what’s smart: tagging the fresh man in so that you have a better chance of winning.
{Will charges, but Davison ducks under his clothesline attempt, hitting the ropes and delivering a thunderous elbow strike which drops Washington to the mat. Will rolls to his knees, only to be met with a brutal Shining Wizard! Ken keeps moving, climbing the near turnbuckle, and signals to the crowd before coming off with a big double stomp to the chest! Washington doubles over, holding his sternum as he gets to his feet slowly. Davison readies as he stands, delivering first a brutal kick to the leg, then a rolling savate kick to the gut, which doubles him over. Ken lets out a loud shout, stepping back and nailing a BRUTAL muay thai roundhouse kick to the head to complete the TRIFECTA! Will slumps to the mat, and Davison hooks the leg tightly!
1!
2!
THR—NO! Kanyon hits a diving axe handle to Davison to break the three count!}
Eric Hardy: An explosive comeback from Ken Davison, and it looked like he might have had Will Washington there after that offensive sequence!
Dave Holland: Curtis Kanyon was on top of things there, breaking the cover just in time. I’d expect nothing less from a former member of a tag team like Dirty Deal.
{Ken and Curtis stand, trading rights and lefts, as Will slowly gets to his feet. Johnnie moves to separate the two, and Joe Everyman steps between the ropes to try to break up the fight between his partner and Kanyon. Will thinks quickly and takes advantage of Lei’s distraction to deliver a crushing right hand to the family jewels of Everyman! Joe drops to the mat, and Washington quickly shoves him onto the floor! Kanyon and Davison continue to exchange shots, and Lei tries to interject himself again, but he eats a big right from Kanyon and is knocked to the canvas!}
Eric Hardy: Looks like referee Johnnie Lei tried to get in there and break things up, but he eats an errant shot from the Archangel and now both he and Joe Everyman are the victims of illegal shots from Kanyon and Washington.
Willy Carter: I’d be amazed that Will could even hit a target that small, but the man’s a former Army Ranger. He’s got aim like a HAWK!
{Will struggles to his feet, and Davison catches Curtis with a big kick to the gut, scooping him up into position for the FALCON ARROW! Washington springs forward as he lifts, however, and plasters him in the back of the head with the CAMBRIDGE CALLING! Ken drops Kanyon, falling to the mat. Curtis lands, wobbling, and Will shouts to get his attention, pointing to the turnbuckle and gesturing upwards.}
Dave Holland: Will Washington directing traffic, but…I don’t get it. Is he asking Curtis to go to the top rope?
Eric Hardy: That’d be a very uncharacteristic move for Curtis Kanyon, but this is the man who ran around for months with a wig on his head…
{Curtis shakes his head, and Will shouts for him to climb again. Kanyon pauses before nodding, walking to the turnbuckle. He very slowly begins to climb up as Washington hauls a groggy Davison to his feet. Will stands him up, ducking down and bringing the X Champion up in the electric chair position. Kanyon hesitates before stepping up to the top, struggling to maintain his balance. Washington rolls his eyes at Kanyon’s hesitance, shouting “I DON’T HAVE ALL DAY!” at his erstwhile partner. Curtis nods, shakily getting to his feet, and his eyes lock on Davison, coiling his body and leaping off the turnbuckle to deliver a Doomsday BANG!}
Eric Hardy, Willy Carter and Dave Holland: HOLY S***!
{Kanyon hits the mat hard, and Davison appears lifeless. Washington quickly drops down and hooks the leg of Davison as Lei stirs to make the count!
1!
2!
3! Washington stands, Lei raising his hand as “Battle of Heroes” plays over the PA.}
Amber Ashe: Here are your winners, Curtis Kanyon and Will Washington!
Eric Hardy: An impressive victory for Will Washington, rebounding from a count-out loss to the last challenger for the X Title by pinning the current champion, even if circumstances were suspect.
Willy Carter: And that Doomsday BANG! What a move! I tell you, Red, White and BANG! are the real deal, no pun intended. Next tag champs, baby!
Dave Holland: They had solid chemistry as a team, but I’d be concerned about two powerful egos like that coexisting. Nevertheless, Eric’s right. A tremendous win here for both men.

{We head backstage where we see Simon Daye and Gib getting ready for their match later in the night when Crystal Hilton barges into the room, looking bubbly and ready to go... but dressed in gear identical to the stuff Sydney used to wear as Zelda.}
Crystal Hilton: Alright, you guys ready, I think Z seeing us like this together. Her father, best friend, and boyfriend all caring about her, we can really get through to her this time.
Gib: Why are you dressed like that?
Crystal Hilton: To show my support for her, to show her how much I care.
Simon Daye: That’s stupid. Besides, I’m not her boyfriend... and I all I care about is beating the hell out of those two.
Crystal Hilton: What are you talking about? You’re the one who got her to start talking again right?
Simon Daye: Yeah... and but she’s the one who decided to **bleep** Cyrus Daniels, so that really doesn’t matter now does it?
Crystal Hilton: She did what? She wouldn’t...
Simon Daye: She did, like some two bit slut, she doesn’t give a crap about me, she’s willing to stomp my chest in and then rip out my heart, fine, then I don’t give a crap about her either. Let me make this clear... you better be focused on winning this match! If you aren’t, then we’re better off without you!
Crystal Hilton: I’m trying to help my friend... I’m not giving up on her.
Simon Daye: **hmph** You won’t be singing that tune when she caves your head in after stabbing you in the back.
{Simon stands up, his boots half laced and pushes past Crystal and out the door. Crystal turns to look at Gib and shrugs her shoulders.}
Crystal Hilton: What’s wrong with him?
{Gib walks over and puts his hand on Crystal’s shoulder.}
Gib: He’s just hurting Crystal... I believe the scientific term is sand-in-vaginitis...
Crystal Hilton: I think it’s a little more than that Gib...
Gib: Either way. Lets focus on this match tonight.
{We head back to ringside as Gib pats Crystal on the shoulder once more and we fade out.}
Dave Holland: Well fans... this next match certainly could be called... something..
Eric Hardy: A sham comes to mind... Kelly forcing Verona to go two on one here, just because she can.
Willy Carter: That’s Kelly for you, she doesn’t play coy, She just tells you you’re going to jump through her hoops and you’re going to have to do it to get anywhere.

MATCH THREE
Roberto Verona vs. Team Africa
Handicap Match
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Amber Ashe: The following match is scheduled for one fall…
{The sounds of African ritual chants could be heard as the crowd looks on. Suddenly, "Africa", by X Plastaz hits the PA. Tafari and Jason then come out, holding up an African flag as they take pride in their country. They then dance down the aisle in an African art known as Kupigana Ngumi.}
Announcer: Introducing first from the continent of Africa…The are Ebony and Ivory…Team Africa
Eric Hardy: Well here is a match that is not for any pure competitive reason but more of a disciplinary action.
Will Carter: You can say that but let’s face it Roberto Verona keeps asking for it when he displays such rudeness to our boss Kelly Fox. Besides it sounds like you have no respect for this team here.
Eric Hardy: No, I know they are a fine team but I am just going over the circumstances as to why they are going into this match 2 against 1 against Roberto Verona.
{Tafari and Jason hop onto the apron and enter the ring with dual leap frogs over the ropes. Tafari then gets to a knee in the middle of the ring and outstretches his arms as Jason stands behind him, holding up the African flag.}
Announcer: And their opponent….
{The spotlights in the arena dim as the entrance screen flicks with static for a few moments and red and white lights begin to flash before "Smash the Control Machine" by OTEP erupts from the PA system causing the crowd to pop as Roberto Verona appears slowly and methodically from behind the curtain.}
Announcer: Coming here by way of Chicago, Illinois this is Roberto Verona.
Dave Holland: Well like him or hate him here is the man that always says his opinion of Kelly Fox, especially when he is in the presence of her.
Willy Carter: Well, he may seem courageous to you, but I just call him stupid. You know if he would just shut up he might actually get himself a title shot sometime soon.
Eric Hardy: Yeah well right now Kelly Fox seems to enjoys playing games with this man.
{Ebony decides to start the match as Roberto tries to take account of his two opponents. Suddenly as Ebony gets ready to square up in the center of the ring Roberto strikes first with a series of blows to Ebony’s face, sending him into the corner opposite of his tag partner. Trapping him in the corner Roberto lands another series of punches to Ebony’s head and body. Hearing the count from the referee beginning Roberto heads back into the center before charging the corner and hitting Ebony with a well-placed knee to his jaw. Roberto takes Ebony from the corner and snapmares him then runs to the ropes and hits Ebony with a dropkick to his head on the rebound. Roberto immediately goes for the cover…1..2.. Ebony kick out.}
Eric Hardy: Roberto Verona taking no time in getting this match started early.
Dave Holland: Roberto trying to take the advantage as quickly as he can since you don’t know if you are ever going to get it again.
Willy Carter: He is just going to wear himself out that is all.
{Roberto picks Ebony to his feet and flips the bird to Ivory standing in the corner riling Ivory up.}
Willy Carter: Really? Was that necessary?
Eric Hardy: Well Roberto always loves to play the mind games and show how confident he is.
Dave Holland: Unfortunately Verona’s confidence can become arrogance causing him problems in situations like these.
{Roberto then slams Ebony before doing a series of stomps to the head and extremities of Ebony. Roberto once again goes to the ropes and lands an elbow drop on his rebound. He once again goes for the pin 1..2. Ebony kicks out.}
Eric Hardy: Roberto hoping for the early win but not getting it.
Dave Holland: Unfortunately for him the longer this match goes on the greater the odds against him.
Willy Carter: Boy you are a genius aren’t you.
{Roberto then gets Ebony up to his feet by his hair and sends him to mat with a hard European uppercut. Roberto once again gets Ebony up to his feet by his hair and sends him back down to the mat with another European uppercut. Roberto once again picks up Ebony by his hair and whips him into the corner. Roberto then charges into the corner with a spear but eats the ring post.}
Eric Hardy: That might be the turning point of the match.
Willy Carter: Well I hope that Roberto enjoys beat down, because that is what is going to happen from here on out.
{Ebony realizing he needs to make a tag literally crawls his way to make the tag of his partner. Ivory comes in charging at Verona hitting him with several elbow shots while telling his partner to get up. Once Ebony is up Ivory stands Roberto in the center of the ring as both his the Batuqe (hi-low dropkick) sending Roberto face first into the ring mat . Ebony then leaves the ring as Ivory takes over. Ivory picks Roberto to his feet and tries to Irish whip Roberto into the ropes but is reversed but as Roberto tries to go for the hip toss Ivory turns the tables by going up and grabbing Roberto’s head and driving it into the mat with a DDT. Ivory goes for a pin 1..2. Roberto kicks out.}
Eric Hardy: What a reversal by Ivory.
Willy Carter: Yeah what can I say those are my boys right there.
{Ivory sits Roberto up before delivering a swift kick to the face whiplashing his head back to the mat. He sits Roberto up again and delivers another kick to his face. Ivory bends over and sits Roberto up again before backing up and delivering a charging drop kick to his face. Ivory goes for the cover 1..2. Roberto kicks out.}
Eric Hardy: Roberto sure has taken some punishment but has no quit in him.
Willy Carter: Hey that’s what you get for being arrogant.
Dave Holland: Well Roberto has to do something if he hopes to survive in this match.
{Ivory picks Roberto up and whips him into his corner and follows it up with a splash. He tags his partner in as Ebony sets Roberto up with a backdrop as Ivory hits a leg drop for their Testa maneuver. Roberto writhes in pain as Ebony goes for the cover 1..2. Roberto kicks out. Ebony goes over to the corner and tags in his partner. Ebony sits Roberto up near the corner the goes runs at Roberto and delivers another dropkick to his head followed by a springboard leg drop on Roberto by Ivory.}
Eric Hardy: Team Africa using quick tags to neutralize Verona near there corner.
Willy Carter: I bet you Verona wishes he didn’t cross the boss now.
Dave Holland: I bet you he also wishes he had a tag partner now.
{Ivory goes for the cover again 1..2. Roberto kicks out again. Ivory calls for the end of the match and tags in his partner Ebony who prepares for the finale by putting Roberto on his shoulders as Ivory goes to the top turnbuckle. Roberto out of pure instinct shimmies himself off of Ivory and runs over to Ivory pushes him off of the turnbuckle and into the barricade behind him. Ebony trying to stop this burst of momentum tries flying into the corner with a splash but Roberto sidesteps it as Ebony badly misses. Roberto then stalks Ebony until he is turned around and his him with his Requiescat in Pace. Quickly Roberto moves in for the pin 1..2…3. Roberto wins.}
Eric Hardy: Wow what a turn of events for Roberto Verona.
Dave Holland: Verona always has been a great opportunist and that really show with that last series of events.
Eric Hardy: You look speechless there Willy.
Willy Carter: I can’t believe it not only did my boys lose but we got to hear it from Verona all next week. This SUCKS!!!!
{Roberto has his arm raised in victory as he stares at the ramp just waiting for something to happen. When Kelly Fox steps out, he expects the worst and braces himself but instead all he gets is a small condiscending golf clap as the two glare at each other and we head to the break.}
