Synopsis: After a tough loss to Megan Sanderson two weeks ago, Jasmine now prepares for the Road to the Gold tournament where she has an opportunity to gain a Starlet's title match against Jenny Williams at the Road to the Gold pay-per-view. While it is mostly an exciting time for Jasmine, she still has plenty on mind as the days go by. While still stuck in California and working under the table for the same group that wants her dead, Jasmine still deals with problems outside the ring. Will she be able to deal with those outside issues and then still focus on her opponent Shelly Taylor-Jones? And is there any chance she finally learns the truth about what really happened with Rodney, Flash and Rahiem?

Jazz casually awaits the arrival of a Juan, one of Hector's friends. Within minutes, Juan eventually shows up. The younger Hispanic male wears a blank, black t-shirt with his khaki pants and sneakers. He knocks on the door and Jazz answers.
I'd rather not talk about losing to Megan last week, it bugs me. It was a legitimate chance to really get on a roll before this week. Road to the Gold begins. Now I roll into the tournament cold. But then, so do a lot of others. So I'm not totally at a disadvantage. Still, I feel like I've been...under-preforming lately. Like I could do so much better and I'm simply...floating along. Maybe It's just a bad habit I've picked up from Todd. Whatever the case is, I think this is the perfect time to drop it. Perfect time to get back into gear.
And it starts with Shelly Taylor-Jones.
Now, you may be asking who Juan is and why I'm driving with him to Compton. Well, As with any transaction, people don't like being gypped. Doesn't matter what the material is. Food, clothes, whatever. Nobody likes feeling cheated. I am one of those people. People who take from me, who try to steal from me, I don't really care for. It does strike me that we've been doing really good business out here, and now this kinda thing pops up, seemingly out of nowhere.
I don't like it.
But, Hector is obviously not here, and I'm overseeing this operation. And If people think they can take advantage of me, they are sorely mistaken. I'm tired of it. I have no patience for people who simply cannot play by the rules. I'm not a substitute teacher, I'm the new one. Now I gotta go clean up a mess.
It sucks being at the bottom. But, Cuando se trata de dinero, sin ensuciar es demasiado grande.

She stares at him for a moment, noticing his increasing nervousness.
She pulls a blade from her pants...
I always figured that Shelly would come back at some point. Her last return was...pretty uneventful. Wasn't she...Crystal's little helper or something like that? But I guess lately that's kind of Shelly's thing. She comes back, does one or two things then...right back home. Never understood why, but I guess it doesn't matter. After all, I plan to help quicken that vacation back to her house Saturday for Trauma.
All jokes aside for the moment, Shelly's beaten some impressive people in her career, and I guess it's why she doesn't seem to be taking me seriously. All the condescending talk like she doesn't respect me. Trust me Shelly, I know a back-handed compliment when I hear one. And those were just that. You don't know about me? That's fine. Ask Crystal, ask Jenny, ask A host of girls just how good I am, and who I am.
Based on what I hear, or I guess what I don't hear, I don't know much about you. As a matter of fact, no many people do. They know you wrestle, you look pretty and you're somehow able to hold a conversation with Alex Jones...oh, and you guys screwed. That's really about it, Shelly. Wheras My life is well-documented, People know about me, people know my story. I guess you just haven't been paying attention.
But, The way I feel about things right now, I'll educate you in the ring, since you seem to have missed everything. No need to thank me, just be ready to fight.

The car pulls up. Jazz gets out and instructs Juan to wait. She enters the house. Inside, a group of men and a couple girls sit around. In a chair facing the door, A tall, lanky black man sits, a small smile on his face.
Jazz:
He's already been on the phone with my people. And if I don't come back...you aren't going anywhere either...
Stretch:
How I know you ain't lyin'?
Jazz:
Because you're not dead right now. Now, you gonna listen or not?[/center]
You spoke about second chances Shelly, and I'll hand it to you, you're right. This is the time of the year in NCW where you can turn everything around with a little bit of focus, and little bit of drive. But given your track record Shelly, I don't think you have it in you. Maybe you're content on the sidelines, maybe you don't crave the spotlight. And that's okay. But don't act like you've all of sudden gotten the drive or the will to just blaze through the field here. Like you've been holding back all this time and now, now that you've waited all this time and let everyone think they're good, that you're just going to crush them?
You know, you remind me a lot of your husband. Talk talk talk, and then....nothing.
This is the Road to the Gold, this is where a nobody, an underdog, a longshot, a dark horse, could come out on top. It's unpredictable and that's why it's so exciting. And as our current World Champion has proved, anything is possible. Which is why I'm going to go out there and beat you, Shelly. Because it's possible. Because I understand what this means to me and my career. I have an opportunity and I will not waste it. I can't wait to see the look on the faces of those who doubted me.

Billy reaches into his pocket.
With that, he exits. Jazz stares at the card in silence, then slips it into her purse...

Jazz:
What? do I have ANOTHER price tag on my head? I've got one from New York already. If that's what it is, I'll deal with it.
Man:
Heh. I guess I should have expected this from someone who almost died today...and after all you've been through...
Jazz:
What are you talking about?

There's always a catch.
